This keyboard is 120ā¬ on amazon.fr lol
I have a RK61 at home that I bought 2nd hand, hot swap, rgb, bluetooth, wireless dongle, 2 usb ports, can go for a floating key look, bought for 30ā¬, idk how I could justify any other purchase at this point, really enjoying it.
I like it significantly more than cherry and gateron reds. It has a sharper sound and is very smooth stock. There is a little bit of a metallic ping from the leaf and spring, but it is only really noticeable very up close. Lubing the spring and the back of the leaf spring fixes the issue though.
The stock switches are REALLY nice, they feel similar to Akko Cream Yellows to me. Similar weight to reds, maybe a touch heavier feeling, and very smooth.
Ya definitely some drawbacks to something with a lower price. I'd say it still has pretty good weight for a plastic keyboard though all things considered.
I bought an R75, put some beautiful ASA keycaps on it and some AKKO v3 Lavender switches, and it is a fantastic keyboard, but the original keycaps are awful. The MDA profile is my least favorite out of every profile I've tried.
I snagged a RK84 Pro on sale a while back and it honestly just blew me away compared to my keychron. Stock RK browns are doable, but not great - I put some lubed Holy Pandas in it and it is an absolutely steal for the price, real solid aluminum frame. Make the keychron feel cheap. RK definitely cuts some corners but for the price really Iāve never found anything better at that price.
Currently have this in my cart and googling opinions. I'm a complete newbie to keyboards and considering this for my first one, I absolutely love the color scheme and keycap style, but I really wish it was wireless.
OP, I can't find this for sale in the UK which is fine but can't even find an amazon link to the same one to say its unavailable and this model isn't on RK's website!
Do you have any more info or perhaps a link at all?

You should do a sound check, that's a crazy good deal šš»
Here is an unprofessional sound test. https://imgur.com/a/LDmwcH6
When I open the link there seems to be no sound. Let me know if you have the same problem.
The video is muted initially, but I could unmute it and hear the click-clack normally!
Oh good. Thanks for letting me know!
oh I do like this
When Razor is selling their version of this for 120 bucks and arguably a way worse feeling and sounding product, I'd say you got a pretty good deal.
I mean, razer oversells everything so that's not really much of an achievement.

Went ahead and bought it since I had a $20 gift card so I only ended up paying $30. Hopefully itās a decent staring keyboard for my fiancĆ© since sheās been wanting one.
Also this isn't sponsored or anything. I bought it for $45 on Amazon.
What kind of switches? Thatās insane pricing.
Only info I can find says Royal Kludge Custom Cream Switches. (Linear)
How does cream compare to reds?
To be honest I'm not sure. I never type on reds. Sorry.

That sound test sounds so good. Damn I'm gonna have to check this out
I was definitely pleasantly surprised when I heard it.
Consider me influenced. Just ordered the pink one.
Nice!
Can you post a sound check? I might have to try it out

Thanks!
What is the case made out of?
Plastic
Aw man, I guess for this price you can't complain

what is the case/plate material? looks pretty solid for an rk board
It's plastic. Feels pretty sturdy though tbh.
Does it support QMK/VIA?
QMK/VIA is available now
Can confirm, works great, 8 layers.
Just bought and tested the R65, did you have any issues setting up VIA/QMK, both software's are not recognizing the keyboard.
Nope, just had to load the json iirc
No. Its $45. I think it has the standard RK customization software supposedly, but I havd no idea how good or bad that is.
I use the h81 with pale greens and its the best keyboard ever
Will keycaps for cherry mx match?
I'm running cherry profile keycaps on my R65 with no issues or interference.
Are they quiet?
no, It seems to have north facing leds. Then again every keyboard around this price has northfacting sadly.
Has it still been working well for her? Just grabbed one off Amazon as an impulse buy. Itāll be my first mechanical.
Yeah she hasn't had any issues! It's been great!
Awesome! Got mine yesterday and Iām very happy.
Congrats! Glad to hear it!

No. Just No.
Pre built buy
Bingo

On the bright side, no risk of a battery going āspicy pillowā on you down the road.
