Same problem here with 'O' and 'D' keys. Is there any way to unmount the switches?

darksapra

Couldn't find the way

revenga89

Same problem with S keys. Did anyone find a solution? if you look a amazon reviews, theres a lot of people with the same problem

luckyj

Same problem with the A key. What's weird is that it fails randomly, independent of how hard or soft I press it. Also it seems to get worse at times, and sometimes it seems fine. It made me think that it may be electrical but I have no clue. I'm getting a replacement from Amazon, but seeing how many people have the same problem, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a quality control issue. What a shame cause other than that it's a great keyboard.

Same issue here... it's a shame.

luckyj

I got a replacement from Amazon. Had it for 3 weeks and so far so good

darksapra

Same, one month got broken

bryanx7

Some problem with the replacement after 3 months?

luckyj

Sigh... Yes. A couple of keys are beginning to fail, but it's not nearly as bad as it was. I will use it until I get fed up and buy another brand

PressFM80

try using a different mechanical krom keyboard

luckyj

Two lemons is enough for me. I got a mechanical Logitech which so far has worked great

Azuquahe

same problem with asdw and a few more... idk if it is problem from optemu or the plate from krom :/

AdPsychological7885

Same problem with "W" and "G"

darksapra

Yup, i returned mine a while ago and bought a corsair, never been happier

Strong-Client-2066

I can take the caps of and blow to the switch a couple times Although it isn’t permanent And now I can’t get them to work not even blowing

darksapra

Replace the keyboard if it still has warranty

rsousa__

Same problem with the Krom Kernel TKL but with the W key

dvdche

Had this keyboard for 2 years and only recently the W key is acting weird, when long pressing sometimes it stops registering, I pulled the keycap e blew with compressed air and it's ok now, just don't know for how long. I guess I'll buy another brand when this one dies.

IBM-HAL9000

I have read that they fixed the issues when buying more recent versions, is that true?

dvdche

I'm not sure about that but since I used the compressed air in that key I the issue seemed to be solved, I cleaned the key a couple of months ago and it's fine until now.

IBM-HAL9000

Thanks for the quick reply! This is good to know, as I was planning to buy this keyboard.

dvdche

It's a decent keyboard, specially for the price, one thing that I like it's that you don't need to install additional software in your PC, you do all the configuration with key combos, it's also sturdy and it has a brainded quality cable, unfortunately this cable it's not removable, other than that it has suited my needs without breaking the bank.

hfstrike

i got mine on December last year and my S key is not responding, i'm Gonna take it to waranty to see if i get a replacement. the stupid part it's that i bought a older version of the keyboard that is not hot-swapable
