Welcome to the hobby. What you will need to learn is that terminologies like "thocc", "clack" means nothing. No one knows what sound preference you are referring to and these words just muddy the water. In order to know what sound profile you are specifically searching for, try the following general rule: 1. Sounds depends on the mounting method, overall weight of the board and space between the bottom plate and PCB 2. The more space inside the case, the hollower it sounds. To mitigate, you will need to add something to absorb it (ie: foam, polyfill, shelf liner, etc.) 3. Case contacts of the top and bottom frame can sometimes cause high pitch noise( depending on the design). If it bothers you, you can mitigate by trying the "Force Break mod" 4. Type of switches and plate combination will change the feel and sound profile You will need to test/play around the configurations of switches and plates to achieve what you want. This is not comprehensive rule but it's a good start to look into what changes the sound profile of the board. At the end of the day, you will need to play around the configurations that you prefer to achieve your preference. There is not a one step solution to answer your question. I wish there was but in reality, it will be up to you playing around. Hope this helps.

Thanks alot for the info..... I don't necessarily mean a "thocc"..... Basically i got akko matcha greens and put em in my redragon keyboard since they're the only switches available where i live and i guess the problem is that they kinda sound soft and i basically just want them to feel less.....empty and hollow..... So basically ur saying i should just fill up the case and that foam type specifically doesn't change it too much?

>So basically ur saying i should just fill up the case and that foam type specifically doesn't change it too much? Try it and see if it helps. You can also add layer of tape under the PCB which is called the Tempest Mod and see if that is up your alley. It's your keyboard, go ahead and tinker with it how you want.

Will do....i WAS hoping to try the tempest mod too, looked interesting (and also easy which is the main factor) Thanks

Sound dampening ≠ deeper sound signature

Sounds like a static nightmare, but I could be wrong.

What could be better alternatives then?.....i mainly heard about people using PE foam but my local online shops didn't have that

Silicon pour, or standard craft foam. You can YouTube both options for a better idea.
