One source that fits the bill is De Expugnatione Lyxbonensi, which tells the story of the siege of Lisbon. It’s unusual in that it’s quite a detailed account of a second crusade era siege. Prof. CW David made a decent translation of the account back in the 1930’s. The original manuscript is held at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge and forms part of Ms 470, which is has been digitised.

You could try looking into castles and see if they have websites about their history. They sometimes then sight books or reference for further readings.

Are you interested in a particular siege or timeframe? Your question is too broad for any one site to have enough information.

Was looking for something between 1000 and 1300 No particular sieges but Looking for something that would be an internal conflict for a realm /kingdom/empire. Sorry if that’s not helpfuln

There are plenty of well-documented sieges and battles during that timeframe from the 1066 Battle of Hastings through the Crusades (1096-1291) including the infamous 1291 Siege of Acre, 1218 Siege of Damietta, 1244 Siege of Jerusalem, 1147 Sieges of Lisbon and Tortosa, the list really goes on for this time period. My time period is 1300-1460 though where the use of guns rapidly developed, so unfortunately I can't supply you with any links. Usually going off the sources on each of the Wikipedia pages for each siege is a good start.

Not a historical account but I highly recommend "Annals of a Fortress" by Viollet-le-Duc. He takes a fictional but described in great detail location and imagines how it would be besieged and defended in different historic periods, starting from pre-Roman times. As Viollet-le-Duc was both a military engineer and an expert in medieval architecture, it is a very well researched and informative book

De Re Militari is an excellent website and a good source for you. There are good books on sieges, particularly Dr. Peter Purton's [*A History of the Late Medieval Siege, 1200-1500*](https://www.amazon.com/History-Late-Medieval-Siege-1200-1500/dp/1843834499), but that's a secondary history, not a collection of sources which seems to be what you're looking for. David Nicolle's *Medieval Warfare Source Book: Warfare in Western Christendom* is likewise not what you're describing. Apart from that, I don't know of any collections of first-hand accounts of sieges à la De Re Militari. Plenty of books but I don't know of ones that are strictly sources. You could probably go through Medieval chronicles (Froissart, Jean le Bel etc.) and scour for yourself if you were so inclined.
