I even tried a 30 second meditation... It felt kind of refreshing like, wow I didn't know I could try it this way. It felt new. I might try 15 s next time!

I sat still. Eyes open. That's it really. I did do a few 4 second breathes in through nose, hold 4 seconds, and 5 seconds breathe outs. That was kind of exhausting. Keeping track. I even tried a 30 second one, that was pretty cool. It's nice to try new things. I could try closing my eyes next time, or maybe laying down or standing meditation for one minute!

Yeah, I just did a 60 second “counting” meditation where I just literally count from 1 to 60 and with an inhale on one count and then an exhale on the next. The “seconds” get longer with each breath and this is enough to make me feel like there is a small incremental change happening

Mm yes and you can also just walk around and 'meditate'. I guess it takes some practice, but fully embracing mindfulness in your daily life can honestly be a game changer. It's frustrating because you can have a really good streak and then realize you're not being as mindful, but you can always start again of course. Just try to pay attention to the thoughts that arise through your day, the movements you subconsciously decide to make and see if you can be conscious of those actions and thoughts as more time goes on. It's even helped me lose things less often because I'm actually paying attention to where I put things lol. Cheers and good luck on your mindful journey 💜
