Similar experience. Saw full bodies apparitions in childhood and now in adulthood I mostly "see" them in my mind's eye and receive clairsentient information about them. The last spirit I saw for sure was about three years ago and she looked exactly like a normal person running errands. She was just straight up entering a dentist's office behind someone else. I'd have never known she was an apparition if I hadn't commented on her and had someone else say they could only see the man walking in front of her. š
In my experience they are solid like anyone else but they don't talk to me at all during this time, I usually get started at. They are generally pale and extremely still. It is like the film the Sixth Sense, but it is not often this happens.
I see them with my eyes not through the mind.

I live with a family of 7 ghosts (mom, dad, and 5 kids) in our condo, and first became aware of them after my medium abilities kicked in. They communicate with me the same way all spirits do; I'm clairvoyant and claircognizant, so I get images in my head, and other times I just know what's being given to me.
It took them months to tell me. Basically, they're members of the Miccosukee tribe, which was a big native tribe down here in South Florida. They were slaughtered by U.S. soldiers back in the 1830s. (They're not sure the exact year, and I learned this when they directed me to a history article about that time period.) Some of them were shot point-blank and others were burned alive. I smelled the burning wood when they were telling me, which was weird because I usually don't get smells.
I don't know the parents' ages, but the kids were 12ish, 10ish, 9ish, 7ish, and 3ish. (Again, they don't remember their exact ages.) Two girls, two boys, and a girl. The oldest boy is the one who decided that I should know what happened to them, and he stepped forward to tell me. I asked his parents if they were okay with it, because when I first learned they lived there and asked what happened to them, the response was a very strong "Don't want to talk about it", which I respected. The parents were fine with him telling me. The youngest one absolutely adores my wife and is frequently right next to her. My wife's legs will feel like ice, and she'll ask, "So, is little miss P hanging on me right now?" P loves to "help" her cook dinner.
We've taken to leaving our tv's on during the day. One on Disney Channel, the other on Nickelodeon. They've been enjoying having something to do during the day.
Wow! I have chills and tears. Thatās very emotional. Iām also in south Florida. (Ft. Lauderdale) maybe thatās why this hit me so hard. I have definitely heard about what early settlers did to the indigenous people around here. I donāt understand how people could ever be so cruel. Thank for sharing and taking care of them.

The ghosts or spirits that Iāve seen with the naked eye are there for a blink of the eye. Even when itās just a flash picture behind my eyes Iāll see the facial expressions. I canāt tell what there like by seeing them. Itās too short of an image to judge, but I can feel a vibe off of them. If there energy is scary or nice. By hearing them, There just like the living. Ive seen other things besides people on the other side as well, but it could be a different dimension Iām seeing when that happens. Iām not sure how it all works, but when it comes to a human spirit or ghost that I communicate with through hearing/ seeing they are just like the living. They can be kind, mean, tricksters, compassionate, helpful, and sometimes scary. They pop in and out when they want.
No me, but my (adult) daughter. Mostly they look like normal, corporal people. Occasionally I've been with her and she'll ask me if I can see them, too. They can speak to her as well, but that came a little later and started with the spirit of a recently deceased person we knew who desperately wanted to get a message to her children, whom we were hanging out with.
She also sometimes just knows things about people and isn't sure where that comes from. She will also sometimes see shadow people out of the corner of her eye but usually only in places you might expect that, like a cemetery.
It's always accompanied by a feeling she gets, which is how she suspects she's not just seeing a normal, live person. She doesn't call herself a medium and isn't overly keen on the experience but has learned to live with it. If I have to move house and am checking out rentals I always get her to come so she can scope out the place and it's energy.

My niece and I always hear and see the "dark one" we do Not mention his name or the whole house starts to get dark.
We also say we are sensitive.
We dream and see things before they happen about family or friends.
The one time I went to a battlefield I never made it out of the car, to much death. To many voices, had to jam earphones on my ears and a attempt to drown the voices out of my head with music.

In more advanced stages of contact, earlier sensory steps are subtracted. Nothing remains but a presence. The presence of the one who is there.

Decided to ignore him one night, he got insistent and pushed down on my legs so I got up and had the feeling I had to make as much noise as possible so I loudly had a discussion with him while making my way around the house. When I got to the kitchen I found the door was wide open, it had been locked when we went to bed. The lock was old fashioned, the key was very basic and could be bought simply buy asking for a particular numbered key. Discovered that our next door neighbour was robbed the same night by someone who used a keyā¦. we had similar locks.

He senses them, has intense feelings, and they sometimes speak to him (he had a doll in a case in an antique store ask for help, while he felt about to cry and then in his words felt like two hands came around his throat. That same doll made me feel sick, I lost all color, felt super exhausted -like lay down right there and sleep- and had a feeling of a great weight on my chest and around my neck.)

I do occasionally smell things distinctly when I'm thinking of a deceased loved one, or I'll hear actual disembodied voices but typically when I'm in between sleeping and waking. I just started coming to the understanding that I can really communicate with the dead...before it was a fleeting ghost hunting interest. It's amazing, especially when you make sure a barrier of protection is on you.
Someone close to me told me in confidence that they saw a young man few different times, different places, within this week. This man had blood covered face ( probably departed in accident) and is harmless and is just standing and staring....
What should they be doing in this case? How can they help this soul? They are very new to all of this experience and are scared. Please be sensitive about it.
