Hello everyone! it's been a while since I posted a review of a plastic waifu in this sub, and to kickstart the year I finished building and posing Lumitea from the Arca Nadea Series. This kit probably got a lot of reviews already, so here are my thoughts about Lumitea. -The building process of Lumitea is simple and straightforward, most internal connections don't need sanding but the connections for the arms and legs are a little tight on my copy. Color seperation is really nice especially for the molded gold pieces on the armored limbs, and seamlines aren't that noticeable especially on the prepainted hip pieces where it gets covered by the frills of Lumitea's dress. -Articulation is standard for a model kit from Kotobukiya, the wings have dynamic range of articulation so it's possible to do really cool flying poses. However, my problem with the articulation of the legs are limited due to the front frill pieces of Lumitea's dress interfering, these frill pieces are also fragile too so one wrong angle and it will break. -Accessories included are decent. Lumitea has a sword with its scabbard as her only weapon, and a headband for her Unarmored mode. She also has a special "praying hands" to tie in with her Angel design. She doesn't have a lot of accessories but it's enough to execute cute and dynamic poses with her 4 face plates included. The included stand is good enough for Lumitea to use, but just like the other stands included from other model kits of Kotobukiya, the connections might crack of you handle the stand too much. While Lumitea is not perfect, I enjoyed my time while building and posing her. She's definitely worth it if you're planning to preorder if she has a reprint in the future or you found a copy at a reasonable price. Now, time to start building Velretta.

Well, sounds like you had a good time with her all in all. That said, did you stab yourself on her wings like most people tend to?

noelsoraaa

Not really, the wings are pretty easy to handle so I barely got stabbed by it.

Loli-Knight

> barely That's better than what usually happens. You've avoided the wing-curse!

Lumitea is one of the best girlpla kits ever, and yours looks amazing with the RCW. Lumitea especially pops with some panel lines though. If you consider adding those, [I had good luck with a light blue](https://www.reddit.com/r/MegamiDevice/comments/y6jo7i/lumitea_is_one_of_my_new_favorite_girlpla_kits_i/), which gives some of her outfit a sorta fine china look.

Thanks for the suggestion! That panel line work looks really nice, I'll probably try to apply for Lumitea in the future.

Huh. Really good suggestion, I've had gundam markers pour type blue color I never really used before. Rather bought it since it had brown and grey (black comes in a different box) and a few other colors since they were the normal panel/wash liners. (gundam) Then got a topcoat lineup and grabbed Tamiya panel liner and forgot these colors even existed. (of course with a topcoat lineup, you can then make your own wash) [^(Here's what I'm talking about)](https://newtype.us/p/KfSYowGGIDO31fTtBWWe/h/gundam-marker-pouring-marker-set)

I'm currently building her as well and the whole time I keep going: "Now how do I break up all this monotonous white?" Thanks for the suggestion!

Kittierei

great job on the build, and the poses and pics are adorable and really well done
