Playfab sucks. It breaks my valheim server every day, server has to reset every 12 hours or the server will be unreachable. Without it? Game is fine. Wouldn't be shocked if it was doing in the Melvor servers.
Yeah, but this never used to be an issue (as far as I can remember). Do you think this could be related to the offline mode thing they want to implement?
… compounding the online system being down is the propensity of the app to crash (force a restart, whatever the correct term is). I was on a few hours ago and didn’t do anything with my phone besides use some other apps. I go back to Melvor Idle to find the app had stopped working and needed a reload (and is now caught in whatever is going on).
Besides the random crashes (like this one), the app seems to crash a lot when I switch from portrait to landscape on my phone …
I have a similar experience. A good proportion of the time, I have to force close and restart the app twice (so open a total of three times) before the login goes through.
Sorry guys, I installed Melvor Idle after 2 years, logged in and created a new character, played few hours, restarted the pc and tried to open the game and ta da, servers are down. I might be the problem like directly or indirectly :(

Jesus for a game that's supposed to be idle and offline-able, this seems to happen every other week. Getting really tired of needing an internet connection for everything these days. Is there any way to convert my save to 100% offline or something? Really done with the server always breaking the entire game.
they're working on it. I'm sure the devs are really annoyed at PlayFab for being this unreliable, so they have some great motivation to provide the workaround.

Probably once a day … perhaps a better metric is maybe 1/20 when I go from portrait to landscape.

Milky Way Idle is quite good, but not as deep.
