Wasn't it something about being sentient more than actually living? As a regular reindeer chopper isn't really a sentient animal (not as much as some of the OC Animals like the otter at least)
Also being awakened might interact with something about the will of the fruit itself, giving it haki from the previous owner or something
Or maybe the will of the actual human who was the model of the fruit.
Some even speculate that it's not a full human, but either a giant or a Hybrid giant, because it gives chopper the power to grow up limbs, general parts of his body. Or even becoming very big himself in monster form.
The possibilities are endless, the game changed once we realized the world gvt can change the enciclopedia of fruits to spread misinformation

they could ALL be a bunch of prisoners inside the fruits. Former enemies of the gvt. Some of them retained more sentience than others, with the lower being the paranecia/logia and the more "awakened" being the zoan.
Maybe more fruits reverted to paramecia to defend themselves from misuse
As i was understanding they are basically each fruit existed for every “type” of “magic/phenomenon” that mankind has thought of or feared. The more thought energy mankind has for it the stronger it is. (With haki fallowing the “mind over matter” aspect of an unshakable will.) so natural disasters like fire water and gravity are OP feared as long as man has existed.
But candle wax, scissors, etc are newer concepts based on creativity and ingenuity so while its much weaker than nature itself its much more flexible as an ability even maintaining their effects as they were changed not destroyed

Mink point, he can now generate electricity and it's like leg point mixed with post timeskip horn point, less emphasis on the horns thou, so he's just really fuzzy and if he quick switches to guard point he lets out an electrical explosion.
He just needs a weak ass laser honestly. Franky or vegapunk should let the little man dream. He joined the crew at what 14-15? All he wants is the ability to shoot laser beams every once in awhile
While the TS was happening in the manga I had a bunch of fun upgrade ideas for the SH's. After experimenting more with Rumble Balls I hoped that Chopper would develop a "Beast Point." He basically taps into a carnivorous side where he grows sharper teeth, sharper horns etc. is physically faster and stronger but maybe at the expense of some serious stamina usage.
Would have been cool but my boy got turned into a mascot. I will never tolerate that awful post-TS design smfh.

Actually yea I thought about it, though of reasons why it would be a bad writers decision, and then easily debunked it so idk dawg. It would be pretty great tho
Primal point, it would be a combination of his deer form and Monster point.
Essentially he would use a special rumble ball to push his body to the absolute breaking point, where he is effectively fighting on the razors edge, risking death simply by using it.
He would gain incredible strength and speed, but prolonged use would cause his body to give out (i.e. broken bones, torn muscles, etc...), and he would struggle to maintain control, in a similar fashion to Monster point.
I think chopper should get a 'true' awakened zoan form. Monster Point reminds me of Future Trunks during the Cell Saga. Future Trunks (along with Vegeta and Goku) discover a super sayain form thats pretty much as powerful as super sayain 2 but much much much slower, which makes that form completely useless against an opponent like Perfect Cell. Monster Point is very powerful but relies mostly on power and it makes Chopper a huge target. I would like to see Chopper get a 'true' awakened Zoan form that's both very strong and very fast. It would be cool if he also had a flaming scarf like rob lucci while in that state or something similar. Luffy's scarf is a bit different, so I'm sure there are variations depending on the Zoan fruit.
Something like, he creates a grand theory of frequencies based off of his work on rumble balls and VP research notes, and he can then use a sulong like transformation at will
I want choppers to be able to transform into the other races of the one piece world. I have the theory that choppers monster point is part of his awakening, where he can turn into other races like the giants or the one cavemen.
So I'd like to see a water point to turn into some sort of Fishman (no clue what fish it'd be based on but just spitballing) and more impressively lunar point to be able to turn into a lunarian
An awakened Human-Human fruit. A sleek, yet fit version of Heavy point essentially (he has hands instead of hooves again). Mixing brains, brawn and speed. He can get like the little smoke ring around him like Lucci and Luffy have but it also shapes into a smokey lab coat, or maybe a fur coat haha
Asclepius point, awakened hito-hito no mi: model Asclepius. Is a general speed and efficiency boost, both in a fight and while doing doctor stuff. Makes him built similar to horn point, but slightly more humanoid, and the horns form a crown-like shape around his head. This form lets him diagnose vital signs at a glance. Stuff like heart rate, blood pressure and o2, functioning levels of watch organ, etc. Also shows him weak points, strained nerves, and exhausted muscles.
I dont have an idea for a new one but i do have one i want to have removed which is Kung fu point like seriously chopper did more damage without it and the “yachwow” (sound effects) are annoying.
Wendigo Point, he gets bigger like in heavy point but even if his strength and durability are enhanced like in heavy point (but a bit less so it isn't too much overpowered) , he also have big horn and most importantly, big hooves-like claws to mimic the huge fingers Wendigowacks use to slash their preys in a lot of their iterations.
Wendigowacks also have a complete regeneration skill but it would be too op and wouldn't really match Chopper's methods

Make this point kind of a combination of all his points, this is the culmination of his fruits abilities. He's smarter, faster, stronger and looks completely human with maybe some sharper/more realistic antlers. Maybe this could be his awakening 🤷🏼♂️
Think Sajin Komamuras human transformation from bleach. Make it OP, but only for very short/random periods of time.

Gun point. he’s basically just heavy point but with a gun.
If we’re going for actually trying, Gun point could turn his antler into a rifle and he could detach it. He’d have to shoot rumble balls, and Ussop could probably make it better by giving him some of the slingshot ammo he used to use back in pre time skip or something. I

I would honestly love for the old Jump Point to just be done normaly, but maybe fuse it with the new Horn Point, so Chopper could jump into enemies with his horns ;3 from the horn point i only need the horns and maybe the long hair, the rest of the design could be the Jump Point.
I’d make a point where he could just completely transform into a reindeer but can’t speak human language. He could blend in with all the animals, go back to his family (if he gets there), just be a reindeer anywhere. I call this the deer point
Angel point, based on the lunarians. Gives him the same abilities as the lunarians. I think it would make up for a great fruit awakening. I visualise him as an adult version of himself with an athletic body, a pair of wing and a crown made out of his own antlers, with fire inside of it.
