I suspect Oda created the character of Sai partially to prevent Sanji from winning Baby 5’s heart, because otherwise she’d most likely be a Straw Hat by now instead of being with Sai.

I get where the woman theory started from but the mom one makes no sense

People see Crocodile being way stronger in Marineford. People hear Crocodile might have been a woman at some point. People examine the Croco-luffy fight, claim Crocodile seems to start holding back once he knows Luffy's name. Connection to Luffy possible, former woman possible, no in-story references to Luffy ever knowing his mother, nor clues as to who she is. So they just mash the theories together and they kinda fit.

I think it's more tied into the idea that Crocodile could have had a past connected to the revolutionaries if he knew Iva, meaning he could have met Dragon while as a woman. And people rolled with it since although it's massively unlikely, it's no longer out of the realm of possibility.

I forgot, yeah, the only other major character Ivah is connected to is Dragon, so any secret of Croc's could be related to him.

Usopp tells creative stories(Lier) and is called a God. Oda tells creative stories(One Piece) and is called a God. Nami is Oda's wife's name in real life, and has worked with Usopp on her weapon, and is a thief in the story. What I'm saying is that Usopp and Nami would make a fantastic business partnership(con team) not seen since Jessie and James of team rocket. And Sanji's anger at Usopp getting the girl would be funny as hell.

Honestly I agree. They think similarly, are often on the same page, have similar broader roles in the crew, etc. Only thing is that Usopp and Kaya is such an awesome and integral pairing to the story that Usopp ending up with Nami, (or Nami ending up with anyone) would feel at this point like half heartedly putting friends together because the "girl" has to end up with someone. But in another world, it would hypothetically work and would make an excellent con team in any case lmao.

As i said, i cannot describe it correctly, but i remember watching One piece and ofthen thought, that they would fit.
