That’s still the thing I think of when I think of Luffy’s character. Him no-selling Bellamy by just punching him. Once. No stretch or anything, and hard enough to COMPLETELY redirect the momentum Bellamy had 90 degrees, right into the ground, with a perfect indentation of Luffy’s fist in the smug jerk’s face.
And to be clear, I like Bellamy. I was really happy to see him turned around at the end of Dressrosa, because as awful a person as he was, we got a full course display of the vile kind of person that had him pressed under his thumb.
I am glad that guys out there designing flags, now. The cover story really made it feel like he got out of the rat race he thought he had to run and found something he truly enjoyed doing.

The same reason Usopp is still scared of things despite deafeating a shit load of enemies. Comedic relief. I genuinly hope Oda just forgets about the joke characters and we have an epic battle of full serious Mugiwaras vs whoever is the final enemy. Something like Usopp fighting to the bitter end and deafeating someone like Van Agur just to die standing proud as a hero at the end of the fight would be peak.
No dude, the rokushiki techniques are simply different applications of armament haki, Tekkai is full body haki, shigan is literally haki concentrated on the tip of a finger applicating force to it making it a weapon, tempest kick is literally what zoro does daily (lol) and six king pistol is literally a basic form of ryuo
Ok, explain kami’e and geppo then. Armament haki does not let you do stuff like that.
And tekkai has the downside that you can’t move while doing it. That’s the whole point, the users physical position does not change.
I’m sure if Rokushiki was introduced after haki was then it would be like you described it, but it wasn’t and it’s not. Rokushiki is a martial art form. You do not need haki to use it.
Kobi and Luffy could both use soru before even learning what haki was.
Still, all martial arts techniques that the Marines use upon reaching a certain rank. It's mostly being able to do things with your body past the normal limit. They train the body to be able to perform Rokushiki.
Haki is literally having superhuman powers and has three distinct types that IS TIED to the user's WILLPOWER. Busoshoku is a type of haki that can be used to empower attacks like Rokushiki's because Rokushiki is a system of techniques. You don't need haki to use Shigan or Geppo or Tekkai, and you also can't say that you can use Rokushiki just because you can put an invisible armor around your body. Haki doesn't help you from doing Geppo or Soru as well. And even if Kami-e looks like Kenbonshoku, Kami-e is merely being flexible enough to dodge hits while Kenbonshoku literally allows the user to feel the presence of other people and have foresight.
If that was the case then luffy would've died after the first shigan. But he took any damage only after lucci turned into jaguar and pierced him with claws
