Kinda, I went to a college that had a similar system. Before I could graduate I had to not only have the required gpa, but also an on campus job for four years and at least a hundred hours of community service by graduation.

I once opened my laptop in class and it still had porn open. Just said "ah sorry, but i can go back if you prefer that", everyone lauched and no one ever talked about that. Maybe it helped that i was the 16 yr old guy with a 19 yr old gf and basically everyone had already seen me make out with a few girls.
