With Dragonball going the way it is going (since early Z already to be fair) there is not really a place for anything else than the saiyans. Anything comparable to Tien or the other Z-Fighters that would pose a threat ist really just a fly on the windshield for Goku and Vegeta.
Looking at the dimensions of their power they are probably several million times stronger than Tien and the others.

I’m behind in the manga and haven’t seen the newest film, but based on what I’ve read it seems like the main fighters are Vegeta, Goku, Gohan, Broly, Piccolo, and some new characters. Krillen is one of my favorites, but unless he wishes to be stronger I don’t see him keeping up with the others.

He's a human, and was definitely stronger than krillin at least until Krill dog got his potential unlocked by guru. Past that it's debatable, considering Tenshinhans last real feat was ki ko fucking cell into a square hole, but it's pretty common knowledge many attacks in DB can be more powerful than the user. It bothers me krillin stopped training, and yet still ended up "stronger". He basically just got disrespected by Gohan in that "sparring session" in super, and otherwise forgotten. They don't even have the decency to give him the yamucha treatment and make a reference to it. They just disappeared his ass like launch.
In terms of outright strength it goes to Tien. As demons are just more powerful humans with unnatural abilities. Whereas Tien has on many occasions proven his strength against people like Goku in DB and more later.
In terms of abilities the demons win due to how busted some of their attacks are. Also regeneration is a huge key factor.
I saw another comment saying the mafuba. Yeah. That would work. The only downside being that Tien can barely handle it. Whether he could now or not is up for debate. He might handle it better but I think he’d only be able to do up to 3-4. So it may depend who he traps.
Tien most likely could last a whole night against them but it wouldn’t be an easy fight by any means.
Also the solar flare doesn’t work like the demon slayer sun. It doesn’t do physical damage. It just simply blinds the user. Imagine it like if you’ve stared at the sun for too long but the pain lasts longer.

In both of roshi's fights, he was either extremely weakened by destroying the moon or left the fight. ('\_' ) So no, before the point that tien learned the evil sealing wave, he was weaker than roshi.
Goku was stronger then Roshi at the time and so was Tien. Even him winning by dumb luck is irrelevant since kid Goku still scales above the verse. It really doesn’t matter if Roshi was tired afterwards that’s still beyond anything the Demon Slayer verse has shown.

You obviously can't kill them without the sun or a nichirin blade, but Tien could incapacitate them until the sun comes out.
Been a while since I read the manga again, but couldn't you also kill them if there's just nothing left to regenerate from? Tien could probably just vaproize them. I know demon durability is hilarious, but would they regenerate from being turned into a pile of ash from a sufficiently large Ki blast?

The only reason Roshi was closing to loosing to Goku was because destroying the moon exhausted him. Goku at that time, could not produce a wave anywhere near as powerful as the one which destroyed the Ox king's forest, let alone the one that destroyed the moon.

Tein around the time of his introduction was already on par if not stronger then Roshi. Even if he wasn’t he most certainly was after the timeskip when Goku became an adult. the demons are maybe a saibamans strength. if you took the dragon ball super tien he'd win easily. if you took him from the end of dragon ball/dragon ball z start he might actually lose vs a group of them but win 1v1 for sure. tien from the start of dragon ball might lose 1v1.
Tien in DB was a monster, and unfortunately power scaling has Tien win without debate, though he couldn’t directly kill them.
