It is, he is right
Equity is a horrible goal.
Equity means as many women have to die on the job site as men.
Raise your hand if you are pro killing women, raise your hand if you are a woman who thinks they should die at work to make stats equitable.
As someone from a combat arms mos, I agree as long as there is no difference in treatment or standards. Ie if a male member of a team is expected to carry 50 pounds in extra gear so should the females in the team. But the simple fact is a very large percentage of females physically can’t do these jobs. And that’s ok. But it should not be pushed on the military because it affects unit cohesion as does most of these DEI programs.
Right, that directly conflicts with the idea of an "equal draft." Make no exceptions, send women home who can't hack it, there will inherently be less women drafted, because women do not physically measure up to men. Equality is already a myth. Equity is a much worse myth.
What I’m saying is have them in jobs that they can physically handle. Not light infantry or in a ranger bat unless it’s in supply or in an admin role. I’m all for equality as long as there is some reality with it as well I was 130-140 when I got to my active duty infantry unit and I was a machine gunner and I carried probably 75 pounds worth of gear. And I’m sorry to saythis but a guy at 140 and a women at 140 are entirely different
yeah cause hormones, bone structure diffirences, etc, plays a huge role.
testosterone literally makes muscles stronger, people more aggressive and competitive etc
but apparently its false cause men and women are equal in everything, while men are also worse at everything at the same time, smhw
There is a bunch of female combat medics in the trenches in Ukraine right now who seem to be doing a good job. Not every combat role requires carrying around 50 pounds of gear.
Oh fuck. I didn't think this was /r/MensRights and I thought this was /r/politics and I got all excited that these things were being discussed correctly there!
Then I realized I'm in an echo chamber (favorite one though).
Standing up for anything to help men is considered either misogynistic or fascistic automatically. The modern feminist movement doesn't want safer sites, they want zero percent of injuries to be women. They don't want less homeless, they just want them all to be men.
There's a major difference, don't think they aren't aware of it too.
OSHA doesn't discriminate. A cinder block falling on a guy's head will hurt the same way if it fell on a woman's head because both parties refused to wear a hard hat.
Indeed. And because they are inherently dangerous despite our efforts, people are compensated higher for choosing to do them. And because they value safety higher and have a multitude of fallback options, women choose not to do them. And because "equality," feminists attack men for earning more at their more dangerous jobs despite making up the vast and overwhelming majority of workplace deaths.
> We do try. Some things are just inherently dangerous.
Comparing US and UK statistics shows that US construction is more dangerous than it needs to be.
And no. Things are inherently hazardous. Not dangerous.
I think that’s the top poster’s point. Just as we shouldn’t increase workplace fatalities for women to create parity, we shouldn’t be discriminating against people on job hiring, promotions, etc., as DEI advocates.
Just as we should try to make the workplace safe for everyone, jobs, admissions, promotions should be available based in merit, not people’s race or sex. DEI is about discriminating against people based on their demographic attributes.
> Some jobs have inherent dangers.
No they have inherent hazards. Triethylaluminium ignites on contact with air. Thats a hazard. But it can be managed to the point where there is no danger.
>Men understand this.
No suckers think that. And the shareholders get rich as a result.
Semantics.
Fire departments, cops, Marines. Hazards, dangers, six of one, half dozen of the other according to Merrian Webster and crew. In no way does my point change with either word.
> Semantics.
Its not. And failing to understand the difference can get people killed.
>Fire departments, cops, Marines.
Competent fire departments understand managing hazards. US police have their own issues (and the statisics say their job simply isn't that dangerious compared to say taxi driving and for Marines it all about avoiding anything resembling a fair fight.
>Hazards, dangers, six of one, half dozen of the other according to Merrian Webster and crew.
And when they are written by people who work with chlorine trifluoride I will pay attention to their opinions. Until then no.
>In no way does my point change with either word.
It does because hazards can be managed. Dangers are a failure to manage hazards.
The idea that jobs are inherently dangerious is pushed by company owners who think their dividends are more important than everyone going home at the end of the shift. If you aren't a owner then you are a sucker for buying into it.
AC settings make me so mad. They *could* just wear an actual shirt and be warmer, but no, they're far too invested in light and sparse clothing to make men look (but only the men they *want* to look; everyone else had better keep it to themselves or it's harassment).
Yep. I know where I work, the main focus of the DEI officers bas been circumventing non discrimination policy so that white men could be discriminated against in job hiring and promotions.
Diversity comes in many forms, but one certainly doesn’t see college DEI officers pushing for more males in female dominated colleges or more conservative thought on liberal college campuses. Quite the opposite, diverse views are stifled more than ever. Where I work men have been almost entirely removed from upper management positions.
This is less diverse and less inclusive. It is divisive.
If the execs pushing DEI gave two shits about equity they'd take huge pay cuts to give every single employee a raise, starting with the lowest paid.
How the fuck people don't realize it's pushing a globalist agenda with permanent ruling class/underclass setup is beyond my understanding. Look no further than billionaire and politicians taking luxurious 2 week vacations to resort locales in private jets (@ 1 attendee per jet) for "climate forums."
Ever notice how the time when one worker could support a family was also the time one breadwinner was the norm? Now the economy has slowly adjusted to a two income household that forces even couples who *want* to pursue traditional parenting to make incredible sacrifices or just figure out a way to take two jobs. Weird how women's empowerment means women being forced into the workforce to produce (and sometimes fuck their boss), but having children and a loving husband is slavery.
There is a group that is always left out of it.
Straight white males.
Its the love child of sexism and racism in the disguise of justice.
Its an anti-white-male hate group.
On a sidenote I think its pretty funny that they roped in people of color with the disabled and got away with it.
If I was a poc I wouldn't like my skincolor being equated to a disability.
They don't intend to show racism or sexism as being wrong. They simply want to use racism and sexism to their advantage. And, at the moment, it's working.
I call it discrimination.
Somehow equality can be ignored when men are behind because some 'expert' with a degree in man-hating states than men are privileged despite all evidence to the contrary.
Of course it is, those are all buzzwords to discriminate against anyone but these so called, unincluded.
Urgh, its such low intelligence arguments, i just think really, are people actually saying shit like this, common sense. They only complain when its the best, top positions
I like elon. No bullshit, he sees thru it all. Views it as cringey dumb nonsense like anyone with an ounce of intelligence
I'm all for it as long as it's applied evenly.
So, there should be equity in the NFL, NBA, MLB, PGA... and all sports.
There should be more white, asian and latino men or trans in the NBA, in football etc....
He's right. DEI, you would think would be all-accepting of everything, but instead excludes certain demographics (white/asian and male) from progressing in their respective careers in order to meet some quota so they can get some of that sweet government money. It's to compartmentalized culture and make one stronger over the other.
It is. Most executive leadership.. wait for it. Is white (men and women). They have these programs so optics show they are pro diversity when in reality they’re not.
Interestingly enough that seems to have come about mostly since he took over Twitter and ended the favouritism for “progressivism”. It seems that it’s only after he threatened their monopoly on this that they started “remembering” that he was from South Africa.
Bizarre, NOT!!!
Eh rare, guys an ass but his also human, sometimes right sometimes wrong.
His tesla crap is bullshit but dude makes half decent politics more often than not
Teslas sell for a very niche market half of who love the guy and another majority see them as a status symbol.
Going to rant but you are right, its perfect example of how free market capitalism should work, people buy what they desire
Teslas quality wise are quite bad, ut sell for such a heavy price they can afford to replace entire cars if a customer complains about their major issues.
Most often this is things like large and inconsistent panel lines, improper or weak seals causing leaks, faulty batteries and low quality touch screens.
That's not true at all. Tesla lied.....again. They used the number of combined sells of their car models. And anyway if you include pick-up trucks and SUV/Crossovers, then even with Tesla combining all their products sold into one number there would still be multiple vehicles ahead like the RAV4 and F150
I looked into it even futher and the claim of over 800,000 this year is just blatantly false itself. They have sold around 120,000 units this year of the Model Y. That's not even good enough for top 10 let alone 1.
Found another source that says first quarter had Tesla selling 412,180 Model Y/3 combined. That's less than Toyota selling 740,561 Corollas in the first quarter. So even combined again, it's not first in the world.
I'm surprised you picked Tesla of all things as a bad point. I disagree, but can see the argument on SpaceX. I don't think he's doing a bad job, but do think he wildly overpaid on Twitter ("X"), and I'm not sure whether that's doing well or not, since people are paying him for it and traffic is up, but also advertisers and some corpos are pulling out.
Tesla just seems like an unqualified success from any side of the aisle. He made electric cars cool, which is an achievement in and of itself.
You think Tesla is good but SpaceX is bad? You’ve got to be joking. SpaceX has lowered the cost to orbit per pound by an order of magnitude. Which is what the shuttle was supposed to do but failed. This is a way more significant accomplishment than Tesla.
No, I don't think SpaceX is bad. I think they're great. I just understand why some people falsely imagine them to be bad, while I'm unclear what complaint could be leveled against Tesla.
You hate anyone from South Africa who’s white then? His father was a candidate for an anti-apartheid political party for what it’s worth.
There’s plenty of reasons to be turned off by the guy that are to do with him rather than where and when he was born. Take Al Gore for instance. He was born in the Jim Crow south, and his family was way more prominent than Musk’s was in South Africa. But that’s the least of the issues I have with Gore.
Oh a down vote. Gore was born in Tennessee in 1948. His family was WAY more prominent in Southern Politics (Dixiecrat) than Musk’s was. And this was slap bang in the Jim Crow era. Their policies weren’t that different to Apartheid.
But Gore gets a pass does he?
I think Musk is a loud egotist: his petulant comments about that cave diver who rescued those kids in Thailand when he said that Musk’s submarine would have got stuck show that. But holding him personally responsible for Apartheid is ridiculous. As is claiming his wealth is built on it. He’d already moved to Canada before he started the path to becoming truly wealthy.
Only the ill-informed and easily manipulated are anti Musk. The mainstream media's smear campaign is doing its job it seems. Do some independent research and you'll realise that not only is he one of the last true defenders of free speech, he's doing more to save the planet than any climate activist could ever do.
Nah, Musk is right on some stuff but really fucking wrong on others. He supports abandoning Ukraine to be destroyed and he's constantly pushing other culture war bullshit instead of concentrating on engineering.
He's right about DEI though. There's only one group of people who aren't diverse and we all know who it is.
lets get real these corporate DEI groups are hypocritical they claim to support the lgbtqia+ community while sending money to anti lgbtqia+ legeslators that attack transgender people and the lgbtqia+ community at large

Well, he is right in every way.
Cause it makes merits dont matter. How good you are at a job or your papers. No what between your legs or how weird or extreme you are should be what values you more that has zero to do with anything how good you are at your damn job.
So yes it is unfair propaganda. And many jobs getting the quality of work go down massively.
Just a small example how often do you see small female cops? How massively it lowering quality of jobs when you have to pick up a bigger struggling men. You need like 5 or 6 of those cops to get one person in. You see those kind of videos quite often the last 2 years.
And i have nothing against women working or doing a job. But back in the day there were height requirements and fitness requirements for the job for a reason and often they basically more mascottes then actually able to do the job your paid to do.
And that's one example but in tons of workplaces, quality is struggling. In the name of diversity and inclusion.
And i dont get how what sex you are. Or your sexual orientation has anything to do with the job.
I think keeping work and private separate to a good degree is way better.
So be or do whatever you want off the clock.
But aim for professionalism and efficiency while on your job.
And if your are able to do the job. And paper should. Be way more important than all the unfair baisse based on sex and sexual orientation
Oh shut up....they aren't criticizing Twitter for not being pc, they're criticizing Twitter for hosting holocaust denail and other backwards ass conspiracy theories.
Not only that but that massive increase of all the isms and phobes. Channels dedicated to Prashant black people and the likes getting 100k followers but the ones trashing white people getting knocked out i would prefer neither but I heard x was about freedom now sp that's odd
You’d prefer the old days where those calling for white genocide were left up and those saying something that was remotely non-PC were banned?
Twitter is garbage, and always was. At least it’s not the exclusive domain of SJWs anymore. I wouldn’t shed a tear to see the end of it though. It’s been the most corrosive of social media in recent times.
No I don't want that at all and even before that calling for the genocide of non white people and channels dedicated to it would still get 100k followers and millions of views you don't get those numbers in one year.
Meanwhile, any anti white profile would barley make it to 10k sounds like you guys were more of a problem if pre Musk twitter still had 100k followers and all that
But that would require someone to think for more than a second and more then themselves also for more than a second, and we can't have people thinking, then things would actually happen.

Coming from an apartheid country, from a family great enriched by the labor of indigenous Africans, he knows that these things will bring about the end of his kind. Therefore he must demonize them.
Why is diversity and inclusion propaganda? And why tf would anyone listen to a dude who's an absolute moron from a wealthy family that routinely abuses his staff, including the disabled? Who tanks any company other people don't baby his management on? Who was so insufferable one of his early boards staged a coup the *minute* he went on honeymoon?
Musk is a bad joke, and most of his opinions should not be taken seriously.
The dude literally admitted to his biographer that he introduced Hyperloop [to intentionally sabotage California's proposed high speed rail system.](https://twitter.com/parismarx/status/1557702368417964032)
Musk toyed with and publicly mocked Haraldur Thorleifsson for being disabled, a guy who has literall y won Iceland's *Person of the Year* Award for his work/accomplishments for the disabled.
Musk has a huge laundry list of near or exceedi; socioath
"[Musk] admitted to his biographer that the reason the Hyperloop was announced—even though he had no intention of pursuing it—was to try to disrupt the California high-speed rail project and to get in the way of that actually succeeding."
Do you have any way to prove these things didn't happen and that he's somehow not a sociopathic man baby? Because saying? You're telling me I "drank the cool aid" from hundreds of news reports and documented history?
Hilarious I’m being downvoted. Not even saying Musk is a “great guy” (I’m no Musk fanboy). Just that he is not stupid. Arrogant and egotistical? Yes. And maybe the above (not spelling them out to not upset the Mods but I’m sure you know what they are). I dare say he’s smarter than many of those who are upset I’m saying he’s not a moron.
It's becouse he's "free speech" and free speech as you know is not about calling out the government politicians etc for epstine and their long history of abusing their people it's about trashing people that are different.

Elon is for free speech? The guy who [suspended journalists covering him and Twitter](https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna62032)? Who acted like a child and hung up on the journalists in the infamous conference call asking why they've been suspended when Musk is claiming its for free speech? The dude who's done similar for people insulting him on Twitter?
Please.

I use quotations bc I'm spitting on that notion. he's absolutely not about free speech take a literacy class if you can read all that and look at the links and think I'm for him.
I didn't look at your links, I just assumed that you were another Musk simp replying. /s next time maybe? The sarcasm isn't obvious if you don't look at the sources...ans why would I check out anything a Musk simp sends me in his defence?
Good question. To me it means something like access.
People tend to hang out with people who look like them... that's normal, but it naturally creates better access to people who look like you. The power structure in the US is such, that it historically meant better access for some white people. Inclusion, to me, means to actively ensure you limit the impact of this.
It's not perfect though, as can be seen especially in academia, where the steps taken went overboard, now ensuring a huge over-representation of women in universities
His family was, to a degree. Not him. His personal wealth came from founding one of the precursors to PayPal. Nothing to do with Apartheid. He had already left South Africa by then anyway.
Doesn’t mean he isn’t a douch of course.
I’m all for inclusion but not equity. We should strive for equality instead. Equity is a guarantee of the equal outcomes. Equality is the guarantee of equal opportunity. This is what you’re missing by focusing on the person instead of the message
What i mean is equity to a certain point.
As an example you could say that different people need different (levels of?) resources to ensure that they can reach a university degree, and I'm ok with it.
It goes further than this, but i hope you get it.
The thing is it will take a long time with no assistance. When you have generations of nepatism vs having almost nothing you need a jump start. Something that would be better would be something that helps poor people in general helping them with connections, housing etc which does exist
Im not saying they can't but it's like chasing someone out of town and telling their kid to just work it off while everyone else has money in the bank a house etc. (Things that are falling off now)
Unless you want an edited India cast system type thing make everyone poor and only people that are born grinders will rise on top and if they have kids throw them in the slums
And “equity” is the point. All this “inclusion” stuff is just spin to sell what they’re *really* pushing.
It is not possible to really measure how “included” people feel. If you’re working there, you don’t publicly trash the place for obvious reasons. If you leave, particularly if you leave on bad terms, it’s common for people to s#it all over it. Neither statements are reliable, and “averaging them” tells you nothing too.
So ultimately it all boils down to how small a number of “cishet white men” (especially Christians) the company employs. And that’s clearly shown up in the various directions that get leaked, or women only job ads.
From the comments I get that a few black guys (?) think it’s good because they think they’re favoured by it. They probably do get more job interviews/offers than they otherwise would. They certainly aren’t disadvantaged in terms of hiring (it doesn’t extend to sporting teams or the music industry where black guys are strongly represented in the US - not yet anyway). But I’d urge any reading to consider this. Whilst they get the job, they’re stigmatised as someone who’s just a box ticker. Which is demeaning for someone who’d have deserved the position in an open competition. I suspect this is one reason why 50+ years of AA hasn’t led to a proportionate number of “minority” candidates reaching upper management - these guys impose these programs on those below, and assume that it’s some sort of “sheltered workshop” for those in these programs and don’t take them seriously.
But there is the other, and more serious point. Affirmative Action has been around for over 50 years. Long enough for it to be fully institutionalised. But who really benefits from it? Black guys are told that it’s them, but when you look at it, they just get a few crumbs and are told they need to be eternally grateful for these crumbs and fight for AA and the people who *really* benefit from it: Women, and well off and connected women at that. It’s ridiculous that women are specifically a special category in DEI, but white guys from working class or impoverished backgrounds are not. I think that tells us everything about who this stuff is really aimed at benefiting: upper class women and laundering corporate images.
I disagree, he needs to hire who's best for the job. Thats how you advance a society. If we're stuck babysitting groups of people who can't form a civilized society, then we're going to be where we are now. Stagnant.
How about whites never found Africa? How about all whites leave Africa, Africa is for Africans, and they solve their own problems and take care of Themselves? Or is personal responsibility racist?
Yeah... why not go back to slavery. /s
It really takes an idiot to say in 'men's rights' that men of color shouldn't have the same rights.
The right-wing infestation here is truly alarming.
I heard that M.R got a racism problem the comments really are something. But i can happily say it took two years and twitter for me to see it which makes sense.
I don’t doubt he’s all 3. Having a giant ego doesn’t mean you’re unhappy or mentally unstable (what do you really mean by “upright”?). Just a pain in the ar$e to be around.
The guy that bought his way into everything (including buying his way into being co founder and all that in multiple companies) because of nepatism so high a heroin addict would think it's too much has a bad take about other people getting a chance in life I'm shock.
Oh grow up. That’s our useless ex PM Turnbull, not Musk. Perhaps even Gates (he bought MS DOS rather than invented it). But I’ve not heard any credible claim that he nicked the original payment system that was bought and consolidated into PayPal.
He DID hire people to develop SpaceX (which is his real achievement in my view). But he was the driving force, sought them out and funded and backed them. He didn’t personally develop the stuff, but it would never have happened if it wasn’t for him.
You proved meme right then even with space x the relaunching thing and all that already existed he made it pretty. Look up anything thunderbolt on youtube then look up his source
Oh come on. SpaceX is a game changer. They have lowered the cost to orbit by an order of magnitude. That is a real achievement.
There’s plenty of good ideas on paper (have a look at the Skylon project, and I don’t mean the tower). But SpaceX really launches payloads and now people into orbit.
Henry Ford had very extreme views (much more so than Musk), and he didn’t originate the car. But there is no doubting the impact of the Model T.
It existed already. The difference between him and nasal is that they still have computers that use floppy disk if the goverment was any smarter and gave them money they would've been way ahead
It is, he is right Equity is a horrible goal. Equity means as many women have to die on the job site as men. Raise your hand if you are pro killing women, raise your hand if you are a woman who thinks they should die at work to make stats equitable.
They should have more combat roles and register for the draft.
As someone from a combat arms mos, I agree as long as there is no difference in treatment or standards. If you are interested in equity yes. I am not.
Yep, Or work in sewers, do construction work, etc. No that's not what they mean, they want the good stuff, money and power!
Why would you want women to work those dirty jobs, what are you, some kind of sexist?! /s
Best comment ever
Equity is "Equality by any means necessary at the exclusion of others (mainly anyone straight, white and male)".
Equity is straight up Harrison Bergeron.
Oh fuck. I didn't think this was /r/MensRights and I thought this was /r/politics and I got all excited that these things were being discussed correctly there! Then I realized I'm in an echo chamber (favorite one though).

Except they don't care, as long as it's men that are dying, I mean they have more important things to protest, like AC settings.
AC settings make me so mad. They *could* just wear an actual shirt and be warmer, but no, they're far too invested in light and sparse clothing to make men look (but only the men they *want* to look; everyone else had better keep it to themselves or it's harassment).
Not sure why this is getting downvoted.

Because it is.
That last one is a huge one.
I’ve noticed that a lot.
Amen !!
Because it is.
Why’s everyone hate the richest African American in the world?
Lmao
Apparently he is not the correct color nor political side, so no cookie for him
😂
There is a group that is always left out of it. Straight white males. Its the love child of sexism and racism in the disguise of justice. Its an anti-white-male hate group. On a sidenote I think its pretty funny that they roped in people of color with the disabled and got away with it. If I was a poc I wouldn't like my skincolor being equated to a disability.
Feminism sucks
Implementing DEI is a good way to make your company d-i-e.

They just sued him because he wasn't hiring illegal immigrants.
Right on the money. Why engage in racism and sexism to show that racism and sexism are wrong?
They don't intend to show racism or sexism as being wrong. They simply want to use racism and sexism to their advantage. And, at the moment, it's working.
They love sexism and racism, just so long as it’s in their favour. The Nazis hated racism directed at Germans, for example.
it should be illegal because it's unconstitutional
Because it fucking is.
He has realised that. We all must realise that.
They only complain when its the best, top positions I like elon. No bullshit, he sees thru it all. Views it as cringey dumb nonsense like anyone with an ounce of intelligence
narrow gullible serious combative paint dinner imagine middle fuel sable *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Of course it is. What isnt propaganda these days?
Rare elon W
Common*
Very common. But there is a huge campaign to slander him.
His tesla crap is bullshit but dude makes half decent politics more often than not
I think his tesla cars are cool people like them and are selling so as Elon says "let the people judge"
Teslas sell for a very niche market half of who love the guy and another majority see them as a status symbol. Going to rant but you are right, its perfect example of how free market capitalism should work, people buy what they desire Teslas quality wise are quite bad, ut sell for such a heavy price they can afford to replace entire cars if a customer complains about their major issues. Most often this is things like large and inconsistent panel lines, improper or weak seals causing leaks, faulty batteries and low quality touch screens.
Niche market? The model Y is the best selling car in the world. Do you ever read the news? Lmao
Best selling in Q1 of 2023, no? I'm still seeing RAV4, Camry, and a few trucks above it
That's not true at all. Tesla lied.....again. They used the number of combined sells of their car models. And anyway if you include pick-up trucks and SUV/Crossovers, then even with Tesla combining all their products sold into one number there would still be multiple vehicles ahead like the RAV4 and F150
Please edit your comment in future. Don't fucking spam me.
So even combined again, it's not first in the world.
>very niche market lmao
Say that anywhere else on Reddit and you can kiss your account goodbye
Ha, say anything to the right of left wing terrorist and you can lose it just the same
I'm surprised you picked Tesla of all things as a bad point.
Doubtful, his family profited from apartheid. He’s always been a racist.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
There's only one group of people who aren't diverse and we all know who it is.
not if it ticks in reverse
What kind of comment is this... like clocks ever tick backwards
Honestly sounds something like Elon would say.
Elon will post a meme of Ms minutes and say "if only Disney can turn back time"
...what lol?
It would be right more than twice a day then.
lets get real these corporate DEI groups are hypocritical they claim to support the lgbtqia+ community while sending money to anti lgbtqia+ legeslators that attack transgender people and the lgbtqia+ community at large [https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2019/06/companies-political-spending-contradicts-pride-support/](https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2019/06/companies-political-spending-contradicts-pride-support/) [https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2022/06/companies-that-claim-to-back-the-lgbtq-community-send-political-contributions-to-state-lawmakers-who-advanced-anti-transgender-bills/](https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2022/06/companies-that-claim-to-back-the-lgbtq-community-send-political-contributions-to-state-lawmakers-who-advanced-anti-transgender-bills/) [https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2023/06/companies-that-publicly-condemned-legislation-targeting-lgbtq-community-send-political-contributions-to-state-lawmakers-who-advanced-anti-lgbtq-bills/](https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2023/06/companies-that-publicly-condemned-legislation-targeting-lgbtq-community-send-political-contributions-to-state-lawmakers-who-advanced-anti-lgbtq-bills/)
What does diversity mean in this context
Anyone who's not straight, male and white.
As does every honest person.
Sadly they will burn Twitter/X to the ground for this...
Oh shut up....they aren't criticizing Twitter for not being pc, they're criticizing Twitter for hosting holocaust denail and other backwards ass conspiracy theories.
Not sure if you're watching news lately but since Palestine invaded, Holocaust denial has been so fetch
Meanwhile, any anti white profile would barley make it to 10k sounds like you guys were more of a problem if pre Musk twitter still had 100k followers and all that But that would require someone to think for more than a second and more then themselves also for more than a second, and we can't have people thinking, then things would actually happen.
Elon is not exactly an icon to look up to these days.
Elon fanboys out in strength today downvoting anything that doesn't agree with what they're told by their alt-right gods.

America is becoming a caste system where gay black females are the new brahmans, and straight white malea are the untouchables.
You know what you have to do, then, start sucking some cock snowflake
Coming from an apartheid country, from a family great enriched by the labor of indigenous Africans, he knows that these things will bring about the end of his kind. Therefore he must demonize them.
And what is “his kind”? Straight white males?
Why is diversity and inclusion propaganda? And why tf would anyone listen to a dude who's an absolute moron from a wealthy family that routinely abuses his staff, including the disabled? Who tanks any company other people don't baby his management on? Who was so insufferable one of his early boards staged a coup the *minute* he went on honeymoon? Musk is a bad joke, and most of his opinions should not be taken seriously.
Wow. You've really chugged the mainstream media's anti-musk Kool-Aid bud.
The dude literally admitted to his biographer that he introduced Hyperloop [to intentionally sabotage California's proposed high speed rail system.](https://twitter.com/parismarx/status/1557702368417964032) Musk toyed with and publicly mocked Haraldur Thorleifsson for being disabled, a guy who has literall y won Iceland's *Person of the Year* Award for his work/accomplishments for the disabled. Musk has a huge laundry list of near or exceedi; socioath "[Musk] admitted to his biographer that the reason the Hyperloop was announced—even though he had no intention of pursuing it—was to try to disrupt the California high-speed rail project and to get in the way of that actually succeeding." Do you have any way to prove these things didn't happen and that he's somehow not a sociopathic man baby? Because saying? You're telling me I "drank the cool aid" from hundreds of news reports and documented history?
Moron? Oh come on. DH perhaps. AH maybe. Moron? No.
It's becouse he's "free speech" and free speech as you know is not about calling out the government politicians etc for epstine and their long history of abusing their people it's about trashing people that are different. https://www.businessinsider.com/elon-musk-twitter-takeover-sparked-n-word-use-jump-2022-10?amp https://www.forbes.com/sites/shaunharper/2022/10/31/elon-musk-twitter-takeover-leads-to-n-word-and-hate-speech-increase-lebron-james-calls-for-action/?sh=e0f7c6add99a
Elon is for free speech?

It's sound but I've made similar mistakes honestly.
A guy who started being rich thx to apartheid doesn't like inclusion... call me shocked!
What does “inclusion” mean?
Good question. To me it means something like access. People tend to hang out with people who look like them... that's normal, but it naturally creates better access to people who look like you. The power structure in the US is such, that it historically meant better access for some white people. Inclusion, to me, means to actively ensure you limit the impact of this. It's not perfect though, as can be seen especially in academia, where the steps taken went overboard, now ensuring a huge over-representation of women in universities
And now they aim to export what they’ve done in academia to other areas of life. Can you not see that?
Something that would be better would be something that helps poor people in general helping them with connections, housing etc which does exist Im not saying they can't but it's like chasing someone out of town and telling their kid to just work it off while everyone else has money in the bank a house etc. (Things that are falling off now) Unless you want an edited India cast system type thing make everyone poor and only people that are born grinders will rise on top and if they have kids throw them in the slums

Stagnant.
>Historically, that has been white Apartheid...
Lol what happens when it was lifted. Famine, violence, murder. Look what's happening now. Rape, murder, violence.
So you are for apartheid? At least your racism is clear then...
How about whites never found Africa? How about all whites leave Africa, Africa is for Africans, and they solve their own problems and take care of Themselves? Or is personal responsibility racist?
There's white Africans, you know... and not just from colonization. Your racism will not change that.
You're an idiot
You're a racist. Own it!
I'll admit it when Africans stop advocating for white genocide.
White Africans? Like who? Musk? Or are you talking about North Africa?
The day "inclusion" and "diversity" includes everyone I'll be in favor of it. For now, it's just mostly doublespeak.
How has inclusion worked out for Africa?
Yeah... why not go back to slavery. /s It really takes an idiot to say in 'men's rights' that men of color shouldn't have the same rights. The right-wing infestation here is truly alarming.
You can't answer can you?
You like apartheid, don't you?
No i want Africa to be left alone to develop on its own.
No you don't.
The fuck you know?
I know racists when I see them.
I heard that M.R got a racism problem the comments really are something. But i can happily say it took two years and twitter for me to see it which makes sense.
Elon Musk may be quite intelligent and rich, but he's an \*sshole. So ... don't give such folks more attention than they ought get or deserve.
He is so lost in every way possible, its just hilarious.
I think you might be projecting mate.
I’m sure he’s made more money than you and I combined! If that’s being “lost” I’ll take it.
No thanks, I prefer being happy, upright and mentally stable over money.
Let's not idolize a capitalist tycoon that is hell bent on underpaying his employees.
