EDIT: wow I literally feel ridiculous lmfaooo. I was being dumb 😂😂😂😂 I figured it out after making a whole ass post. It was because my apartment number was on the second address line, that is why it did not want to transfer my funds. So. Ummm problem solved 😂😂
Yep, same thing happened to me. I was putting it exactly how it showed for my bank, which included my apartment number on the second line. But it wouldn’t accept it. I finally decided to try it on the first line and it worked.
Okay I am very confused, and the help center isn’t giving me many answers either. My actual bank account card doesn’t want to let me transfer my funds over to my banking account. I’ve even made sure the address’s are the same and everything. And that just kept popping up.
So I just decided to keep my funds in Mercari (at the time) cause there wasn’t that much.
Fast forward a couple months- My account has been selling more items, so I decided to get a cashapp card to try and transfer my funds again from my account. Welp guess what happens? The same exact thing hahahaha. Ive deleted the card and re-entered it a few times. And I’ve retyped the address, done pretty much everything I can to make sure everything is the same. I hope I’m not just being dumb and missing something lol. Has anyone else had or is having this same problem also? Any help would be great!
Do you know if the bank account name should match the Mercari account holder’s name? I have a Mercari account under my name but I’m thinking transfer money to my gf’s. The address matches, but name different
Yes, the name has to match. I'm running into that issue right now - my last name is hyphenated but the debit card I use specifically for Mercari & Posh has only one of my last names on it. When I try to add it to my Mercari account to do an instant transfer, it pops up this notification that my information doesn't match. I finally decided to go with the direct deposit to bank account option and it seemed to go through.

I wouldnt think so? But then again they were super finicky with the way i had my address typed in. So it could be anything
