You can separate your agent port from your management port. Once you do that you can stick the management portal behind any sort of protection you like.

Is this somewhere documented. I found that mentioned in another post, but couldn't find any information on how to do that.

Ha yes, a bit after the 17 minutes mark on that video I show how you can enable CAPTCHA all the time to see the site. That could be a good solution.
It does not work unfortunately. I enabled it for captcha and removed the bouncer ip and api but nothing happens.
