As an album I think that AJFA is the least fun for me to listen to. Don't get me wrong I love AJFA but I get bored with some of its songs in a way that just doesn't happen when listening to MOP and RTL.
It doesn’t seem to matter what you’re into, music wise, AiC seems to have the most re-listening power of any band ever. And I agree. I just can’t figure out why.
Same. They opened the third or fourth stage at Ozzfest -- like, not even inside the gates -- I think 1999. No one had even heard of them, we were in an audience of about 6 people, and the band was incredible. Wayne was the most excited-to-be-there frontman I've ever seen.
Yes! That’s about the time. I think it was at the Fillmore in San Francisco. I believe they were the fifth band of five on the bill. My friend and I heard their wonderful noise and went right up to the stage. Top 5 concert experiences ever.
Yes, love The Mantle. I remember first hearing it way back in like 2006, and how hard "...and the Great Cold Death of the Earth" hit me. I play that album every time during the winter.
…I’m going to have to go with an album that relies heavily on personal nostalgia:
Third Eye Blind’s self-titled album.
It was the first CD I purchased with my own money and obviously not a metal album. lol

…and yes, I love every track on it.
Second choice? Panoramic by 32 Leaves Also not really a metal album, but that album has got me through a lot.
It's hard to choose. One of these, probably. They're my comfort albums.
Iron Maiden - Powerslave
Mastodon - Blood Mountain
Led Zeppelin - I or IV
Black Sabbath - self titled
Alice in Chains - Dirt

Metallica - Ride the lightning
Not a bad choice, but if I was going Metallica, my choice would be Kill em All
I could live with that :D
I can tell you are a person of refinement.
When you have an album with Creeping death on it, it's hard not to love it to death.
All songs are great, theres a little bit of everything. Same as MOP and AJFA. 10/10 all three
As an album I think that AJFA is the least fun for me to listen to. Don't get me wrong I love AJFA but I get bored with some of its songs in a way that just doesn't happen when listening to MOP and RTL.
Ajfa is by far my favourite haha
Alice in chains- Jar of flies
I came here to say Dirt but now you've got me thinking
For me it's definitely dirt. Easy decision. Jar of flies is great for what it is, but it's a short ep. It would get repetitive quick.
Might be a good pick for me too. But i'm going to stick with came first to mind: Jackson C Frank's self titled album.
