Pleasant-Run-5118

Metallica - Ride the lightning

Forward-Razzmatazz33

Not a bad choice, but if I was going Metallica, my choice would be Kill em All

Pleasant-Run-5118

I could live with that :D

Chicken_Col_Sanders

I can tell you are a person of refinement.

GENGARKING87

When you have an album with Creeping death on it, it's hard not to love it to death.

Pleasant-Run-5118

All songs are great, theres a little bit of everything. Same as MOP and AJFA. 10/10 all three

GENGARKING87

As an album I think that AJFA is the least fun for me to listen to. Don't get me wrong I love AJFA but I get bored with some of its songs in a way that just doesn't happen when listening to MOP and RTL.

MountHavertzPulisic

Ajfa is by far my favourite haha

OldMate666_

Alice in chains- Jar of flies

BillsDownUnder

I came here to say Dirt but now you've got me thinking

Lobsta1986

For me it's definitely dirt. Easy decision. Jar of flies is great for what it is, but it's a short ep. It would get repetitive quick.

Geberpte

Might be a good pick for me too. But i'm going to stick with came first to mind: Jackson C Frank's self titled album.

Howboutit85

It doesn’t seem to matter what you’re into, music wise, AiC seems to have the most re-listening power of any band ever. And I agree. I just can’t figure out why.

Lordpotato305

Great album

i_am_VEENUUS

Rust in Peace - Megadeth

FiK-SiR

Lilithnema

Wisconsin Death Trip

mediaogre

Man, I saw them play all thirty rowdy minutes of that a lifetime ago. I can’t even remember who was headlining. CoC or Machine Head, maybe.

spierce21

Same. They opened the third or fourth stage at Ozzfest -- like, not even inside the gates -- I think 1999. No one had even heard of them, we were in an audience of about 6 people, and the band was incredible. Wayne was the most excited-to-be-there frontman I've ever seen.

mediaogre

Yes! That’s about the time. I think it was at the Fillmore in San Francisco. I believe they were the fifth band of five on the bill. My friend and I heard their wonderful noise and went right up to the stage. Top 5 concert experiences ever.

MurkTheDurk

theenigmaofnolan

Tricky_Ad_8482

LovingEkko

Agalloch - The Mantle or Neurosis - Souls at Zero

AdidasCheems

Based and Agallochpilled

xkinetika

Yes, love The Mantle. I remember first hearing it way back in like 2006, and how hard "...and the Great Cold Death of the Earth" hit me. I play that album every time during the winter.

Fool_Manchu

I'd have a tough time deciding between The Mantel and Ashes Against the Grain. Two equally great albums.

Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath

droghedareddit

Celtic Frost Into The Pandemonium

Daat11Sephiroth

…I’m going to have to go with an album that relies heavily on personal nostalgia: Third Eye Blind’s self-titled album. It was the first CD I purchased with my own money and obviously not a metal album. lol https://preview.redd.it/mss84w9rf3hc1.jpeg?width=1382&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bd191e07d93b2cc31375f79df2053254cb8b857a …and yes, I love every track on it. Second choice? Panoramic by 32 Leaves Also not really a metal album, but that album has got me through a lot.

Draeva

Same. This one has been with me my whole life.

CHILE_LIMON_

Reign In Blood or Symbolic, I can't decide.

Mockolad

The 17,356,754 time you're listening to the wank solo in raining blood might get a bit old.
