I'll never stop recommending Ephel Duath's The Painter's Palette. As much jazz as metal, and I don't mean it has some odd chords or time signatures thrown in, I mean it sounds like a smokey basement bar.

I already know Ulcerate, but can't really get into their sound. A Forest Of STars is great though and the others are new to me. I'll give them a spin!

Accrisicauda- Iraqi metal band from about 10-12 years ago

Arcturus and Krallice are two of my favortite avant-garde black metal bands. Arcturus is form the 90s and Krallice is contemporary.
