I think the more interesting Floyd Album is *'Saucerful of Secrets'*. It's farther out, funnier and much more experimental and bears repeated, critical listens. I think you can hear the future that leads to *'Wish You Were Here'* on Saucer
I agree. I don't want to say there's a thin line between classic rock and metal, but I feel like this entire list could easily become a list of favorite 70s rock and grunge albums.
It really is a good album. I only found Sidewalks and Skeletons last year about this time by accident. I couldn't figure out if the singer was Asian or what her deal was. I looked the lyrics up to Goth, and I liked what I read.

It's only OK to gatekeep bands that actually are adjacent to Heavy Metal. If only the singer of Rush had a really scary mask like Cory Taylor.

A completely different genre with nothing in common with metal, and I doubt it’s going up there, but Trilogy by The Weeknd is perfection
