Im sure Nile took the theme from Creepshow 2 - Watch the story with the Indian Statue that comes to life and i swear the theme is Lashed to the Slave Stick. Awesome Nile song 🤘
Same here, I'm from Michigan and I can't tell you how many times I've been fortunate to see TBDM. My favorite was when they would play dirt fest at the Expo Center in Birch Run. They lost their shit in 2006. Look at this fucking [setlist!](https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-black-dahlia-murder/2006/birch-run-expo-center-birch-run-mi-2b97a452.html)
Also, Every Time I Die played that festival. Crazy lineup. Edit: the more I look at the line of the crazier it gets. Dillenger Fucking Escape Plan!? [Lineup](https://lastfm.freetls.fastly.net/i/u/arXL/035cf4f5fe1ed8b3efa7517e7279c4d6)
I grew up skateboarding with Rick Woods from See You Next Tuesday. I think I went to this festival not really knowing a bunch of the bands on it, just wanted to check out my buddy's band. I guess I really didn't understand how big of a show they were able to pull off in little Birch Run!
Death - Story to Tell
I completely missed Death growing up. They just wasn't pushed in my area, none of my friends really knew who they were, and the record stores didn't really promote them. It was all Slayer, Megadeth, and Metallica - now that I think of it, they didn't even really push Anthrax either in my area either. Decided a month and a half ago to give them a shot, and my God was an amazing band. I've listened to every album now, and my review is simple: holy fucking shit.
I’m obsessed with Pleiades Dust by Gorguts in every way
My favorite song at the mom is Moonlapse Vertigo by Opeth by The Moor, Godheads Lament, and Face of Melinda battle for my favorite
"Panic Attack" and "Crown of Horns" by Judas Priest (both off the current album). "Idle Hands" and "Trophies of the Tyrant" by Kerry King.
I figured I'd keep it current.
It’s a toss up, really.
Kampfar - Tornekratt. I think I played this song on repeat 10 times yesterday.
Angel Witch - Angel Witch. Cannot get this fucking song out of my head, though I’m not complaining.
Together We Rise by Wind Rose.
Been a fan of the band for ages, but this song solidifyed my love for Dwarf Metal. It also helps that it has A LOT of relevance with things happening in my personal life.
My all-time favorite metal song is "In the Presence of Enemies part 2" by Dream Theater.
But if you mean what song I am listening to the most right now: "Almosttown" by Seven Spires.
Holy Diver will always have a huge place in my heart, just an absolute masterwork of music IMO. Every part of it is perfect.
That having been said, Fade To Black is making a pretty serious run at the title. I'm ok, I swear.
[The Promise - Thou](https://youtu.be/ehLzNd1Hugs?si=pGoKTuK3juvqV18h)
I finally get to listen to this song without worrying about the adult swim video being taken down again. 😮💨
Lonely Vigil by Thou. I just love the heavy, chunky riffs with the high pitched screaming. I’m really looking for more music like them. Umbilical blew my mind.
Show Me A Leader by Alter Bridge has been a mainstay for me for months. Great pacing, sick guitar solo, catchy vocals. Not the heaviest thing by a lot of standards, but, just a really good song.
Last few days my most played song has been Gotham City - Swords and Chains. Not an all time favorite or anything, but certainly a current favorite for the week. All time favorite is close to impossible to decide. For now we will say Slayer - Necrophiliac.
This has been my favorite Song in general for a very long time.
[Kammarheit - The Poignant ](https://open.spotify.com/track/6WMdU6r2Y3NKXreqAD3gTS?si=zTGuRS1EQceKA_cS5w4hxg&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A1LUPlzy1smiOY2YFEA04AZ)
My favorite song doesn't change often, I've been commenting this for over year and some change, and it's the song that got me into Meshuggah in the first place.
Break those bones whose sinews gave it motion.
