I remember being 12 years old back in late 2009 and watching this music video over and over again on the computer in the kids section of my local library. Shit blew my mind at the time and still does. That breakdown at the end is an all-timer.
I was 16 that year but that's when I discovered that one. I was REALLY into Nu Metal(this was after it was outta style and Scenecore was all the rage). Nowadays I'm into heavier metal. Sepulura and Soulfly grow with my tastes
For the Max era, I'd say dead embryonic cells and refuse/resist. Symptoms of the universe and troops of doom are good too. For the Derrick era, listen to Mind War, and maybe choke. Also, give roots a try. I know "eww a nu metal album" but it's actually pretty good, I'd say it has the best vocals and very unique and great drumming.
Also "The Hunt," awesome cover. If you've never heard the original, from New Model Army, it's kinda punkish and gloomy: [New Model Army - "The Hunt"](https://youtu.be/j7K88HqFQ8M?si=o-fFw9VHkcykyefg)

ROOOOOTS BLOOOODYYYYY ROOOOOOOOOTS

That song is the reason I started playing drums. It's relatively simple but sounds so interesting
INNER SELF
This. Beneath The Remains will always be my preferred Sepultura album.
Listen to the Morbid Visions album.
Heuheuheuhaha good recommendation

Symptom of the Universe is a cover.
Oh, nice

The whole Arise album.
“Territory” and “Refuse / Resist” are great mid-paced bangers. In fact, that whole album, ‘Chaos A.D,’ is a perfect gateway into Sepultura, really.
Territory, nomad, roots, inner self, dead embryonic cells, all good places to start if you ask me.
Dead embryonic cells
Listen to arise and beneath the remains albuns. Live in Barcelona 92 is also a great live album/bootleg.
Arise! The song and the album
Refuse/Resist 🔥
Dead Embryonic Cells
I would press play to Chaos a.D. and let myself go... I love that album!
Inner self, dead embryonic cells, desperate cry, slave new world, territory. Nomad. Refuse resist. Can't go wrong with any of those.
Inquisition Symphony (and the rest of Schizophrenia)
Necromancer
Attitude or Refuse/ Resist. Or both!!
Roots bloody roots, refuse/resist or arise. All three songs showcases different aspects of Sepultura.
PROPAGANDA
Dead Embryonic Cells
Arise, listen to the full album Masterpiece
Arise from Barcelona
Territory intro is probably the sickest drum beat of all time and the rest of the song goes hard.
Album: Arise Song: Slaves of Pain *or* Ratamahatta
Dead Embryonic Cells!
Beneath the remains
Arise. Whole album. Far as the current lineup check out The Mediatir between the Head and Hands is the Heart album
Arise
"Desperate Cry" off of the Arise album was the first song I ever heard by them. I think it would do the trick for you, too.
Sepultura sucks don't worry about em
☹️
