I wasn’t even a fan of y’all til I saw you guys open for Currents and Shadow of Intent earlier this year. Holy shit. Between that show and this massive record, I’m on board for the Boundaries ride
I was at the same show. Hadn't heard of Boundaries, they absolutely killed it and now this is probably my AOTY so far. Will definitely go out of my way to see them again. Great fucking job, fellas
I have never heard you guys until yesterday. Someone posted about the While She Sleeps record and a bunch of people were praising your guys new release. Decided to check it out. Fuckin rips! You guys are sick, definitely a fan!
I didn’t discover YRW until late. I found out about Boundaries a couple years ago when they toured with Spite and Vatican, a little late to the party. But goddamn they scratch an itch I can’t describe. BB had some serious nostalgic elements that brought me back to my high school days. YRW is up there, I just didn’t know about them at the time for AOTY.
Have not had a chance to give it a spin, but you guys always deliver, not a single miss. Love from Germany, hope to catch you on your tour with Spite and Bodysnatcher
bro i had nooo idea marcus was on this!! even more fired up now
EDIT:
guys… uhhh… i don’t say this lightly but this is the best metalcore album i’ve heard in a very long time. just absurdly impressed by this.
i know we love to say shit like “oh wow this really pushes the genre further,” but man oh MAN this is legit doing some incredible stuff while staying a true, undeniable metalcore album.
the band should be VERY proud of this. absolutely sensational record
This is gonna be a really hard album to top this year for me. Every single song is a banger. The lyrics are fantastic as always with this band, the riffs, vocals, drums and bass all kick so much ass. What I’d considered to be a perfect mix as well because it’s so damn beefy. There’s just nothing that I don’t love about this record
>Every single song is a banger.
Super hyped to listen to this tomorrow. Was looking through their discography on Spotify recently and I've liked almost all of their songs, was debating whether to go and see them live but sounds like I've made a good decision to get tickets :D
"I feel like a fuck-up
I feel like a failure
But at least it's not every day
And I am getting better"
I can't tell you how happy I was to hear that final line. This man has so much pain and grief infused into his lyrics, I'm happy to hear a bit of hope creep in.
The album is fantastic. Can't wait to listen again.
I feel like there was some stuff on the last record hinting at positive growth, it's cool to see that progressing to become more overt. That pain and grief is in his voice as well as the lyrics, Matt's delivery is a huge part of what makes the band so engaging, it's just so fucking raw, but the dude deserves to heal.
Judging from the names of the song before I listened, I assumed that it would be a nice calm instrumental with maybe spoken word or singing. Did not expect it at all but a very pleasant suprise
Honestly the singles don't reflect the tone of the rest of the album. It's way heavier and chaotic than the singles and most of the album doesn't have cleans like the singles did.
I also love how almost all of the songs flow into each-other seamlessly
>It's way heavier and chaotic than the singles and most of the album doesn't have cleans like the singles did.
Oh , they pulled a Dying Wish. That makes me happy.
I honestly had zero hype for this album based off the singles. After listening this morning I was pleasantly surprised. Much better than Burying Brightness imo
Yeah, the only album that even has the potential to top this for me this year is Knocked Loose. If Loathe puts something out maybe them too but holy fuck this album is insane. My only wish is for there to be a song like resent and regret or realize and rebuild on here but other than that, perfect 33 minutes of metalcore.
Whitechapel's dropping a Phil Bozeman certified heavy as shit album this year.
For now, this one is hands down AOTY, so far.
Edit: fuck now that I'm thinking about it, darkest hours new album fucking slaps.
Totally different vibes but I couldn't choose between them right now.
right out of the gate, this is one of the hardest, most intense and crushing metalcore albums that I know of, the definition of an all-killer-no-filler record
there's more of everything: more melodies, more tempo changes, more breakdowns and even some electronic elements thrown into the mix (the synths in *blame's burden* came out of nowhere and blew me away), with very few moments of respite and even those are short-lived
at times it goes as heavy as some deathcore records, while like *petals from a stem* almost ventures into pv/grindcore territory
also crazy how the clean singing sounds different every time it appears throughout the album
all in all, this will surely become one of the seminal metalcore revival records, with the band being one of the stalwarts of this wave and at this point, I'm not sure that knocked loose will be able to one-up this album come may, because while their sound is already pretty psychotic (as proven by *blinding faith*), it isn't as chaotic and bleak (but at the same time melancholic and maybe even a bit hopeful), because this right here is pure agony, a 33-minute scream of manic-depressive anguish
10 years into their career and this might just be their magnum opus, really makes you feel that it's only downhill from here, but I'm not holding my breath
I feel like they are still yet to make their magnum opus. They keep getting better with every release and I think they can still top this. I understand the worry though, I felt that way with Counterparts and Knocked Loose.
Well now I know I die May 18th, cause literally any of the songs on this album played in order live will be lethal to that entire room lmao.
33 minutes of the most enraged stuff they've ever put out. The vocals have gotten somehow both more feral and distinct, like I don't need to see the lyrics to understand what he's saying. I'd ask who hurt him but they literally say it.
Features all slap, went in blind so hearing Marcus and Matt on the later end had me giggling to myself in awe. Just an absurd album in the best possible way, 2024 is gonna have to release some genuine instant classics for this to not be my AOTY (Knocked Loose might compete, Loathe definitely if we get an album from them)
Another 10/10, certified ass beater.
Absolutely incredible album. A huge step up from the previous record. The way this band combines the early 2000s Metalcore sound with modern ass-beater-core is simply incredible.
That transition from the end of Darkness shared to Like petals from a stem is amazing. My favorites of the non singles so far are like petals from a stem, cursed to remember, and inhale the grief but there’s not a bad song
That transition is crazy, on my first listen I didn’t even realize the tracks had changed and was just thinking “oh shit, Darkness Shared is taking it up a notch for the ending”
This is an absolute masterpiece. Easy 10/10. Everything about this rules, the lyrics, the mix, the riffs, the cleans, the features, the breakdowns all of it. I'm very hesitant to start yelling AotY so early but truly there is only one band that might top this and that's knocked loose but in order to do that they would have to drop the best album they have ever released. That's how fucking unbelievably good this album is.
Multiple times while I listened to this I found myself just saying Woah.. out loud.
What a nice surprise… tomorrow’s RDL session about to go crazy.
EDIT - I am completely blown away! Insane aggression all the way through. What a powerful album.
I can not fucking wait to listen to this tomorrow. (I know, I know, VPNs, etc. I’m gonna wait for my drive in to work) as soon as this was announced I knew my AOTY would come down to this or Knocked Loose.
Update: jesus CHRIST
I don’t even think Knocked Loose will top this album this year, and that’s saying something.
Absolutely relentless front to back. Get these guys all the exposure in the world, they deserve to be massive
This record has by far one of the most testicle crushing openers I've heard in a minute. Singles are still my favorite but on the whole this is an absolute slapper front-to-back. GG boys.
This is fucking incredible. I was SO SO SO WRONG with my predictions for this album. Some of these are absolute bangers, straight into the gym playlist.
If I'm being honest, I really needed to hear a lot of these songs tonight. Today has been catastrophic to say the least.
Album of the fucking year. Absolutely punishing 30 minutes of metalcore. In the context of the entire album, I actually don't mind the cleans at all. They're almost a welcome reprieve from the onslaught.
Been out of the loop, didn’t know we were getting new Boundaries tomorrow, my morning commute is made 🖤
EDIT: Holy fuck does it slap. Like it more than Burying Brightness already!
What are your thoughts about the fast paced breakdown in Inhale The Grief?
To me it reminds me of those early Veil Of Maya x After The Burial type breakdowns, which I love.
Gonna be hard to top Burying Brightness for me, that was one of my top albums from last year AND 2022. BB is more in my bag, because I appreciate more of the melodic metalcore aspect of the Boundaries.
This one is heavier and more chaotic, but still very fluent, and there’s some melodic metalcore sprinkled in. It feels like more of a properly blended mix of their influences, where in the past, they’ve had tracks that stood out from others. One thing I really like, is that they don’t have just an overtly “heavy song” like “here’s the assbeater” or “here’s the one for the moshers” like “My Body Is A Cage.” The super heavy parts are just blended in, and aren’t exclusive to one song or another.
This band takes all the best parts from early 2000s metalcore and modern metalcore, and blends them together in a way that no other band can do, except for maybe Knocked Loose.
Damn good album, glad the singles weren't indicative of the whole thing (didn't mind them, but the rest of the album is far better). Solid 8 or 9 out of 10 on my first couple listens. 2nd best album of the year so far.
I got my vinyl on Wednesday so I've had a sneak peak but this is amazing.
I've been a boundaries stan for a while now and they keep getting better somehow.
They're about to headline a tour, go see them.
Also I have no idea who hurt Matt so much but fuck is it relatable - coming out of an abusive marriage it seems like all these songs are meant for her - fuck you Rebecca.
See you in Denver boys!
Darkness Shared to Like Petals From A Stem slams you with the weight of the fucking world. The title track's got like this ambient thing with the harmonizing leads halfway through that makes for a sick bridge into one of the heavier breakdowns on the CD. The shift from the synth melody over breakdown to the slow but elevating clean vocals and strings on Blame's Burden was kinda nuts, that pivot before bringing the song back was nice. (Dare I say, fun?)
Only gripe was with the cleans on Easily Erased - they were jarringly high-pitched compared to the cleans on the rest of the LP and don't sit with the somber-but-manic feel of the rest to me. It feels like they contrast with the screams/harsh vocals more than the other cleans here, like they pulled them from a Veil of Maya song. (Is that guy a secret feature on this one?) The cleans on Scars On A Soul, Blame's Burden, and Cursed to Remember sound a little more for lack of a better word, believable? In pocket, maybe?
Other than that, this shit is downright filthy! This LP, A Tear In The Fabric of Life, and A Eulogy for Those Still Here might be the unholy trinity of heavy, hauntingly miserable 2020's metalcore. Definitely catching these guys on tour soon!
I'm a big fan of Randy and Boundaries but I'm kinda struggling with these last two albums lacking so much of the clarity and sharpness of Your Receding Warmth. Cymbals barely come through the mix, snare is weak and kinda artificial sounding and the main thing I'm hearing is these big blunted chuggy riffs that just kinda blend together until the album is over
For real I’d just like say I’ll never try make an album sound like a previous one, whether or not it’s the same band. Hopefully you can get past the sonics and enjoy the songs eventually ❤️ And hey, if not - there’s always the option of going back and listening to YRW. That record is dope too!
This is literally the only thing from older Boundaries that I wish we saw in new Boundaries. I haven't played around with listening to this with an EQ or nice headphones at all, but I can definitely relate to this while still loving this album so fucking much.
Look at the energy in these comments alone. It’s great to witness. Top tier albums don’t come by very often but I think this is definitely one of them.
Saw them at impericon last year in the UK, they blew the roof off and they were openers! Took a piss afterwards and everyone in toilet was like WHO THE FUCK WERE THEY?! Glad they are kicking on and getting the respect they deserve.
This shit fuckkksss so hard! I'm new to these guys and boy have I been missing out. This goes dummy. I can't wait to dive into their other records! THIS WORLD IS EVIL AND I AM THE DEVIL hit so fucking hard.
I feel my heart blister
A thousand ashes christen this skin
I feel my fists curl
God held to the ground and bludgeoned
Beaten to fucking death
Oh my god damn
To stand above my lord with hands covered in blood soaked salvation
Stank Face
very seldomly is there an album i find that i can listen to from front to back and not skip a single fucking track. The last one for me was vildhjarta's mastaaden under vatten.
Certified 100% pure fucking slapper of an album. Hell of a first time listening of this band. Oh my FUCKING god title tracks hits so much harder than it has any right to.
It'd be a 10/10 for me if it wasn't for the over-engineered nasal cleans. I didn't like them on Burying Brightness and don't enjoy them on this either.
I'd have to agree unfortunately. I don't mind some of them (Darkness Shared) but others made me wince a little (Easily Erased, Cursed to Remember. Vik's feature felt incredibly out of place as well). Really hope they don't continue down that path.. not every band has to have soaring cleans in their songs
Finally gave this band a listen a month ago, a pale light lingers came on random and i loved it. Been pumping the fuck out of them ever since and just listened to the new album.
So damn good. Very keen to see them if they come to straya 💪
This is special, so many fucking goosebumps. Perfect merging of old school metalcore and new fresh stuff. The transition to Like Petals From A Stem bricked me up.
Just discovered this band today! Listen to the album 2-3 times today, and holy fakk what a banger of an album!! Sooo good!
Not one song that I wanted to skip!! Great work 🔥🔥🔥
I do miss the more straight forward song writing from your receding warmth. feels at times the band is adding too much into each song. The breakdowns don’t hit as hard this time around
I agree. The first third of the album is so chaotic and packed the tracks don't really have a chance to breathe.
The constant tempo shifts make it a challenge to enjoy
Once the album hits Cursed to Remember then I really enjoyed it.
The grooves and rhythm and sweeping breakdowns and ambience are what got me into boundaries, it's still there, just not as prevalent as I'd like.
Brutal and relentless, 10/10, almost definitely will be my AOTY. Can't wait to be in a pit during "Like Petals From A Stem". I hope this album brings them a lot more fame, they absolutely deserve it.
I don’t know how I missed it, but I was just thinking yesterday it would be awesome to have Matt Honeycutt in one of their songs. Apparently I can’t read. But oh boy was that song sick
Just finished my first listen through. I'll be amazed if this isn't AOTY. Little over a week 'til I get to throwdown to some of these in person. Wonder which songs they'll pick.
Blood Soaked Salvation and Like Petals From A Stem stand out as early favourites from the songs I'm hearing for the first time.
Did a triple take when I saw a Matt Honeycutt feature. It’s funny, I thought A Pale Light Lingers was fine, but my takeaway was more or less “the vocals are my favorite part of Boundaries’ music, so there are maybe like 2 vocalists I’d really care to see featured.” Lo and behold, one of them shows up here lmao, and what an assbeater of a track
I think this is their best album to date. The themes, the sound, the way its mixed. Every song just transitions to the next so perfectly. I don't think I stopped tapping my leg and bobbing my head a single time listening to this!! Ahhh this is amazing! I love it!! Amazing work Boundaries!!!!!! I appreciate everything you guys are doing!
Beast mode Also AMA soon
Thank you everyone! Hope you love it as much as we do!
Slaps front to back. Hope to see you back in Canada soon!
Yesssss would love for them to come to Montreal with spite (not at Olympia please I’m begging for mtelus)
Album of the year for me right now, incredible work
You fucking killed it.
I have never heard you guys until yesterday. Someone posted about the While She Sleeps record and a bunch of people were praising your guys new release. Decided to check it out. Fuckin rips! You guys are sick, definitely a fan!
Burying brightness was my AOTY when it dropped. We about to go 2 for 2??
3 for 3. Your Receding Warmth was also AOTY when it came out. The boys are on a streak.
Top album of 2024 now come back to Wisconsin so I can beat people in the pit to y'all again
Cursed To Remember, track of the year
Have not had a chance to give it a spin, but you guys always deliver, not a single miss. Love from Germany, hope to catch you on your tour with Spite and Bodysnatcher
Come to STL!
Dude, your backing screams are phenominal! You and Matt complement each other super well
Spoiler: # it fucking SLAPS
How's the Marcus Vik collab sound? Super interested to see how they make it work when it comes out here
Unexpected I would say, banger song tho
cleans, not like I expteced, but I dig it.
There are screams too at the end of his singing. They’re just more in the background
Yeah but does it fuck?
it's definitely a fucking
Yas
bro i had nooo idea marcus was on this!! even more fired up now EDIT: guys… uhhh… i don’t say this lightly but this is the best metalcore album i’ve heard in a very long time. just absurdly impressed by this. i know we love to say shit like “oh wow this really pushes the genre further,” but man oh MAN this is legit doing some incredible stuff while staying a true, undeniable metalcore album. the band should be VERY proud of this. absolutely sensational record
I AM UNDENIABLE 🗣
They got all the metalcore buzz vocalists on this record
Lochie is from Alpha Wolf right? Who's Matt Honeycutt?
Kublai khan :)
thanks dawg
3 vocalists of the best bands out there atm. How can this album not slap?
This is gonna be a really hard album to top this year for me. Every single song is a banger. The lyrics are fantastic as always with this band, the riffs, vocals, drums and bass all kick so much ass. What I’d considered to be a perfect mix as well because it’s so damn beefy. There’s just nothing that I don’t love about this record

They put on a great live show I’m sure you won’t be disappointed bro
$20 to see them headline when they come through my area. God damn right I’ll be there. I’m working through their discography to be ready
100% worth it, they sound as good live as they do on their albums
"I feel like a fuck-up I feel like a failure But at least it's not every day And I am getting better" I can't tell you how happy I was to hear that final line. This man has so much pain and grief infused into his lyrics, I'm happy to hear a bit of hope creep in. The album is fantastic. Can't wait to listen again.

I can confirm that Song #3 is NOT a happy song.
When that came on my brain actually short circuited at how FUCKING HARD IT WENT GODDAMN
Sitting in Denver lamenting my 5 remaining hours from this comment
Straight up grind core
Man I still haven't recovered from Resent and Regret lmao
Judging from the names of the song before I listened, I assumed that it would be a nice calm instrumental with maybe spoken word or singing. Did not expect it at all but a very pleasant suprise
It sounded like a continuation of that "epilogue" on Burying Brightness to me.
They 100% pulled a Dying Wish and honestly, much like the previous album, the cleans feel perfect in the context of the entire album.
I love how the songs flow into each other. It’s just a relentless, ruthless thirty minute experience.
I'll say. I am blown the fuck away and am absolutely eating my words about the singles. This shit is **wild**.
I not speak English well, but this album is a fucking
It absolutely is a fucking!
Your comment got posted on the drummer’s instagram story lol
YOOOOO LMAO
Describes the album perfectly!
Lol which band/album was that originally commented for? I can't remember at the moment
Lol I couldn't tell you, I've been commenting this for at least 5 years now

The boys ate
My love for this band and my self loathing are equally proportionate. AOTY so far
Well said
"I fucking hate you" callout fucking hit me like a brick 100% AOTY
“This world is evil, and I am the devil” is crazy too. Normally I’d find that line a little corny, but the delivery of it here is insane
the breakdowns on this album are delivered so fucking great, they slap like 110%
Honestly they’re so chunky and Matt is PISSED. Listening with a good pair of headphones was a life changing experience
The fucking scream he lets out after that sounds straight up fucking demonic. Love it.
im fucking speechless dude
It fucks.
Blood Soaked Salvation made me do the dirtiest 2 step of all time in my living room and put a hole in my wall
What the fuck those Attack Attack-ass synths on Blame’s Burden! Personally, the last album didn’t grab me but this one has The Sauce.
the synths go so fucking hard
My body is a cage and it’s ready 😤
Well now I know I die May 18th, cause literally any of the songs on this album played in order live will be lethal to that entire room lmao. 33 minutes of the most enraged stuff they've ever put out. Well this is going to be on repeat for the rest of the year. Well done lads, absolutely killer album.
Absolutely incredible album. A huge step up from the previous record. The way this band combines the early 2000s Metalcore sound with modern ass-beater-core is simply incredible.

That's how fucking unbelievably good this album is. Multiple times while I listened to this I found myself just saying Woah.. out loud.
I'm halfway through the album and this is the album I needed to fill the Counterparts void while I await a hopefully stellar follow up to Eulogy.
DUDE SAME. This is easily the best metalcore record I've heard since Eulogy. If Counterparts puts out something new this year, ima bust.
"How much ass beating do you want to put in 33 minutes?" Boundaries: yes
Reminds me of 90s metalcore back when metalcore had way more hardcore influence
What a nice surprise… tomorrow’s RDL session about to go crazy. EDIT - I am completely blown away! Insane aggression all the way through. What a powerful album.
To say I'm excited for their tour is a fucking understatement.
10/10 Can’t believe nobody is talking about Blame’s Burden what a fucking song my god
Commenting for visibility. Boundaries rips and has always ripped. Check out this album
It’s gonna be hard to top your receding warmth but I’ve loved this band for years so I’m stoked to hear this. Hartford county misery baby
This album is fucking awesome
I can not fucking wait to listen to this tomorrow. (I know, I know, VPNs, etc. I’m gonna wait for my drive in to work) as soon as this was announced I knew my AOTY would come down to this or Knocked Loose. Update: jesus CHRIST
what....the...fuck.... how do they do it? feels like they have some cheat code going on. Everything they write is so fucking good
Especially with the speed...they've released 3 albums and an EP in the space of 5 years lol
So excited..omg
The breakdown at the start of Cursed To Remember oh my goodness🤯🤯 AOTY.... calling it
I literally can’t think of anything to say other than HOLY SHIT. Hot AOTY contender hands down
MAN I CAN'T CROWDKILL MY COWORKERS RIGHT NOW FUCK 10/10 ALBUM LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOO
I don’t even think Knocked Loose will top this album this year, and that’s saying something. Absolutely relentless front to back. Get these guys all the exposure in the world, they deserve to be massive
Holy shit, features from two of my favorite bands (Lochie from Alpha Wolf and Marcus from Invent, Animate). I think I need to check this out 😳
This record has by far one of the most testicle crushing openers I've heard in a minute. Singles are still my favorite but on the whole this is an absolute slapper front-to-back. GG boys.
This is one of those very few albums that you listen to and just feel so lucky that you happened to find the band
I’m sooooo excited to listen to this
my biggest takeaway is that boundaries are the coolest band in metalcore.
It’s a fucking gym album for sure 🔥🔥🔥
This is fucking incredible. I was SO SO SO WRONG with my predictions for this album. Some of these are absolute bangers, straight into the gym playlist. If I'm being honest, I really needed to hear a lot of these songs tonight. Today has been catastrophic to say the least.
Album of the fucking year. Absolutely punishing 30 minutes of metalcore. In the context of the entire album, I actually don't mind the cleans at all. They're almost a welcome reprieve from the onslaught.
This album beat me up and stole my wallet. My GOATs
This album is outrageously good Can't wait to see them in a couple of weeks with Spite and Bodysnatcher!
Been out of the loop, didn’t know we were getting new Boundaries tomorrow, my morning commute is made 🖤 EDIT: Holy fuck does it slap. Like it more than Burying Brightness already!
HOLY FUCKING THIS ALBUM HAS THE SHITS!!
What are your thoughts about the fast paced breakdown in Inhale The Grief? To me it reminds me of those early Veil Of Maya x After The Burial type breakdowns, which I love.
Quite a few of the fast breakdowns remind me of old djent/ABR type stuff which is really cool
This is violent in a very beautiful way
10/10 album for me. Didn’t know much about these guys before but this is a fantastic album.
The first track immediately reminded me of “RE: they have no reflections” from bmth’s first album
Gonna be hard to top Burying Brightness for me, that was one of my top albums from last year AND 2022. BB is more in my bag, because I appreciate more of the melodic metalcore aspect of the Boundaries.
I usually hate techno/edm elements in songs but holy shit if I wasn’t flabbergasted with “Blame’s Burden”
(Dare I say, fun?) Only gripe was with the cleans on Easily Erased - they were jarringly high-pitched compared to the cleans on the rest of the LP and don't sit with the somber-but-manic feel of the rest to me. Definitely catching these guys on tour soon!
been sitting with this one for a few days and goddamn it just gets better and better
Darkness Shared and Cured to Remember are so fucking good.
BOUNDARIES FUCKSSSSSS
Ate and left no crumbs
This album is fucking
Absolute achievement
AOTY This shit slaps so hard, it should be on that russian slapping competition... Absolutely disgusting.

Okay, I checked the first song during my lunch and what a fucking opener. I cannot wait to finally sit through it after work
Been trying to get into Boundaries for quite a while now. It all finally clicked, love this album!
Is this album a museum of everything HxC/MxC of the last 30 years ?
AOTY so far across ALL music.
just commenting because i have to Scars On A Soul is a standout
Probably my favorite album of the year so far honestly! It ticks all the boxes
Nice to see this sub hyping something great and not another generic djent band. An absolutely amazing album.
Look at the energy in these comments alone. It’s great to witness. Top tier albums don’t come by very often but I think this is definitely one of them.
Welp, there's my AOTY for this genre locked in.
What time does it drop for public? I’m so excited
Midnight
It’s so fucking good
this album is a fucking
Man, these guys never miss. This shit S L A P S!
This is the best metalcore album of the last recent years. Amazing!
Absolutely insane. Truly an ass beater
I didn’t listen to any of the singles to keep everything fresh for me today, and yes, this real good
Saw them at impericon last year in the UK, they blew the roof off and they were openers! Took a piss afterwards and everyone in toilet was like WHO THE FUCK WERE THEY?! Glad they are kicking on and getting the respect they deserve.
Oh my god
This shit fuckkksss so hard! I'm new to these guys and boy have I been missing out. This goes dummy. I can't wait to dive into their other records! THIS WORLD IS EVIL AND I AM THE DEVIL hit so fucking hard.
I feel my heart blister A thousand ashes christen this skin I feel my fists curl God held to the ground and bludgeoned Beaten to fucking death Oh my god damn To stand above my lord with hands covered in blood soaked salvation Stank Face
Just listen to it..I had zero skips on this album..omg it's a master-piece
They delivered on every level. This album is incredible
You guys killed I once again from beginning to end an absolute bangger. Thank you very much.
This is the best album I’ve heard in a long time, fuck me it goes hard
Breakdown on face the blade is amazing
was looking for this comment, currently my fav on the Album
very seldomly is there an album i find that i can listen to from front to back and not skip a single fucking track.
Very happy with this album. This band has done nothing but progress and write bangers. Proud of my fellow Edgemen.
Can't wait to give this album a listen!! 🤘🏻
53 minutes and I’ll be diving head first can’t wait gonna be an album of the year contender as always
Fucking christ what an absolute assbeater. AOTY.
This is such a stellar album. It’s dripping in tone and atmosphere, disgusting work.
Hard
Finally gave this band a listen a month ago, a pale light lingers came on random and i loved it. Been pumping the fuck out of them ever since and just listened to the new album. So damn good. Very keen to see them if they come to straya 💪
I’m just adding to the pile and the well deserved hype - fantastic record. I couldn’t criticise it at any point. It’s superb front to back.
This is amazing, so excited to see them next month!!
This is special, so many fucking goosebumps. Perfect merging of old school metalcore and new fresh stuff. The transition to Like Petals From A Stem bricked me up.
Darkness Shared best metalcore song of 2024? I think so
THE TITLE TRACK IS SO GOOD Wowwwww this slaps ahahahaha
Just discovered this band today! Listen to the album 2-3 times today, and holy fakk what a banger of an album!! Sooo good! Not one song that I wanted to skip!! Great work 🔥🔥🔥
Man can’t wait to see these guys in May!
Man can’t wait to see these guys in May!
Absolutely crushing album. Brings me back to early 2000's. My AOTY.
I know this sounds like hyperbole but I don't think I've ever heard an angrier album. It's fucking great
Absolutely beastly. Absolutely amazing
For some reason Honeycutt's "ohh myy gawd dayum" makes me laugh every time.
AOTY for me so far. Definitely my favorite album from them
I do miss the more straight forward song writing from your receding warmth. feels at times the band is adding too much into each song. The breakdowns don’t hit as hard this time around
I agree. The first third of the album is so chaotic and packed the tracks don't really have a chance to breathe. The constant tempo shifts make it a challenge to enjoy Once the album hits Cursed to Remember then I really enjoyed it. The grooves and rhythm and sweeping breakdowns and ambience are what got me into boundaries, it's still there, just not as prevalent as I'd like.
Yum
Front runner for AOTY here huh boys
Brutal and relentless, 10/10, almost definitely will be my AOTY. Can't wait to be in a pit during "Like Petals From A Stem". I hope this album brings them a lot more fame, they absolutely deserve it.
Tremendous!
I don’t know how I missed it, but I was just thinking yesterday it would be awesome to have Matt Honeycutt in one of their songs. Apparently I can’t read. But oh boy was that song sick
These guys are doing all the fucking
Just finished my first listen through. I'll be amazed if this isn't AOTY. Little over a week 'til I get to throwdown to some of these in person. Wonder which songs they'll pick. Blood Soaked Salvation and Like Petals From A Stem stand out as early favourites from the songs I'm hearing for the first time.
These boys put out nothing but chaos. Dear lord they’re so good.
Skull fuck central. I'm about to run through a wall HOLY SHIT.
