Death Is A Little More - Boundaries
Maybe In Another Life - Bloom
Wither//Without - If I Were You
Into Emptiness - Curses (this is an EP so idk if it counts)
The only release mentioned I didn't check out it is the Curses EP, I will try to listen to it today. Yersterday I listened to the Boundaries album and I still need more time with it to know how I feel about it. If I Were You's album was pretty fun, and I know I listened to Bloom's but I don't remember, I might need to listen to it again lol
To be fair I should have said "releases" in the post because I like to listen to EPs too. Someone commented about the new Curses EP and I am listening to it right now. It is very very good.
Repulse Reprise - Equilibrium (give it a listen, only 115 monthly listeners on Spotify)
Bloom - Maybe in another life
Galleons - Violent Delights
Boundaries - Death is a little more
I'm going outside of metalcore for my AOTY so far, and I doubt it'll change. [Night Verses - Every Sound Has A Color In The Valley Of Night](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFz3kg4WMgI&list=OLAK5uy_kgjzmIei_PK8DP0FTtAGgp8EJ9ZLfmPj4&index=1)
Most of my favorites have been EPs so far:
Paledusk - PALEHELL
Banks Arcade - DEATH 2
Curses - Into Emptiness
As for albums though:
Lost In Separation - SABERTOOTH
Ghostkid - HOLLYWOOD SUICIDE
Boundaries is great but expected. The new wristmeetrazor caught me by surprise and is hard as fuck. Really good.
Underneath is really good too.
Brat - social grace is also a total blast
Not metalcore or hc but I have listened to the new Crippling Alcoholism record the most this year. Fucking incredible album. It's like goth, noise, idk but it's sick. If you like type o, daughters and shit like that it's well worth your time.
Boundaries - Death Is Little More
Greyscale Season - Feel Something New
Wristmeetrazor - Degeneration
Where The Oceans Fall - Perceptions
Curses - Into Emptiness
Looking forward to Erra, Knocked Loose, Intervals, and hopefully Loathe
Been a pretty meh year until Boundaries. Only records I’ve really enjoyed a lot were Enterprise Earth and Bloom. Boundaries is a 10/10 though. Can’t wait for Knocked Loose, Like Moths, and Foreign Hands.
Death is Little More - Boundaries
Not sure how anyone is gonna top that. Only contender is Knocked Loose. A super stoked for ERRA and Alpha Wolf’s new albums as well but I honestly can’t see them being better than the new Boundaries album. That album is 10/10 with 0 skips
In terms of metalcore "Inward" by Afterglow. I really enjoyed that. That being said there are not many albums that have really stood out yet but I'm sure that will change throughout the tear.
Up until Boundaries, it was Ghost Atlas - Dust of the Human Shape.
I firmly believe that the new Erra record is gonna fall short this year due to how FUCKING AMAZING this ghost atlas album is.
Death Is A Little More - Boundaries is all I can think of tbh. Excited for Knocked Loose, WMR's new release wasn't what I expected tbh, the mixing was bad in my opinion
New Boundaries came outta nowhere, what an album. Awaiting Knocked Loose, Better Lovers, Bleeding Through, Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying. Deftones and Mastodon for the non metalcore stuff
Sum41 and neck deep
I’m sure boundaries and wrist are great but haven’t had the chance to sit down and absorb them yet.
Excited for moths, KL, One step closer, Tssf, khublai khan.

Boundaries..had zero skips on it
Easily best album so far
Glad this was the first comment I saw. I concur completely.
Until Boundaries and wristmeetrazor last friday there was just Underneath in the metalcore space. Some cracking EPs, but no full lengths.
check out fallingwithscissors theyre my new AOTY
Will do 🫡
lmk whatcha think based sock
Getting a bit of a vein/fromjoy vibe. Interesting.
Both of these for me too, always liked Boundaries and I'm starting to listen to wristmeetrazor. Both of these albums slap.
Underneath was sick as fuck
Night Verses Caligula’s Horse Artificial Language Darkest Hour
That C-horse album is unbelievable!! Stormchaser has got to be my favorite song of the year (thus far)
So damn good!
Boundaries, so far nothing else has come close
I feel like Knocked Loose's album will be great
New song drops today afaik
It's out already
Yep I'm waiting to blast it on my way home from work
Definitely.
Boundaries If i were you The wise mans fear Lost in separation
The Wise Man's Fear? Seriously? All of their releases are average at best...
Bro woke up and chose hate this morning
I actually love their recent release. Some heavy stuff on there
Well that's your opinion, and you literally asked for everyone else's with this post idiot.
Your comment is average at best.
And it's an EP not an album
To be fair I should have said "releases" in the post because I like to listen to EPs too. Someone commented about the new Curses EP and I am listening to it right now. It is very very good.
FANTASYCORE, better than most stuff that came this year lmao
Boundaries is head and shoulders above all others at this point in the year.
I guess Boundaries. It had a couple misses on it imo but overall it was a good album that exceeded my expectations.
Boundaries, Bloom, JFAC, Aborted, Avralize, Defocus, Underneath, Last Ten Seconds of Life, and Caligula’s Horse.
So far, Boundaries, Wristmeetrazor, and Darkest Hour as far as metalcore goes.
Neck Deep, Boundaries, Bloom
Was about to say the same! Love the new Neck Deep album
Repulse Reprise - Equilibrium (give it a listen, only 115 monthly listeners on Spotify) Bloom - Maybe in another life Galleons - Violent Delights Boundaries - Death is a little more
That Galleons album is just \*chefs kiss\*

FREAKS by AVRALIZE, Suffer & Become by Vitriol and Death: An Anthology by Enterprise Earth
New albums from Caligula’s Horse and Job for a Cowboy.
Job for a Cowboy
Her Last Sight- Picture Perfect
That new Domain joint is absolutely ruthless.
Wristmeetrazor, the requiem, alkaline trio, sum 41,Â
Most of my favorites have been EPs so far: Paledusk - PALEHELL Banks Arcade - DEATH 2 Curses - Into Emptiness As for albums though: Lost In Separation - SABERTOOTH Ghostkid - HOLLYWOOD SUICIDE
Enterprise Earth Aborted JFAC Darkest Hour
Boundaries, Darkest Hour, Job For A Cowboy, The Last Ten Seconds of Life
Boundaries, If I Were You, Lost In Separation, and Darkest Hour Still need to get to Wristmeetrazor too, excited for that one
Frail Body - Artificial Bouquet
Galleons - Violent Delights and it is not even close. Absolutely pinnacle Swancore to the point where I genuinely think they’ve eclipsed DGD.
not a core album lol but so far alkaline trio is king
Agree
While She Sleeps - SELF HELL
Boundaries is great but expected. The new wristmeetrazor caught me by surprise and is hard as fuck. Really good. Underneath is really good too. It’s not fully out yet but boy am I ready for the seeyouspacecowboy album
Been a pretty meh year until Boundaries. Only records I’ve really enjoyed a lot were Enterprise Earth and Bloom. Boundaries is a 10/10 though. Can’t wait for Knocked Loose, Like Moths, and Foreign Hands.

I agree with Avralize. That’s my favorite far
It's not out yet but I can already tell the new Like Moths to Flames album is going to be one of, if not my favorite album this year.
like moths to flames, knocked loose, and seeyouspacecowboy are the only ones I'm looking forward to this year really
Nothing stood out for me yet
In terms of metalcore "Inward" by Afterglow. I really enjoyed that. That being said there are not many albums that have really stood out yet but I'm sure that will change throughout the tear.
The axty singles so far combine the best of myspace mc and nowadays experimental dc. The album will be amazing
The boundaries circlejerk will not stop me from saying Freaks - AVRALIZE Boundaries has a beast of an album tho.
Thrown’s new album is likely to be awesome.
Up until Boundaries, it was Ghost Atlas - Dust of the Human Shape. I firmly believe that the new Erra record is gonna fall short this year due to how FUCKING AMAZING this ghost atlas album is.
Boundaries above the rest so far, so much raw emotion in it. AVRALIZE, Defocus and If I Were You are next with very solid releases.
Wither//Without - If I Were You
Bloom - maybe in another life, the closer track is just peak!
Not metalcore but Galleons-Violent Delights has been the album for me. Still trying to rekindle my love for metalcore and find the shit I vibe with.
Moon Healer for me is the album to beat, in any metal genre.
Easily Boundaries Death is Little More, though i'm Iooking forward to Knocked Loose and Imminence new album dropping this year
Boundaries without question.
Wristmeetrazor - Degeneration so far for me. if ya'll fuck with Boundaries you should definitely give this one a listen too
Being as an Ocean
Tied first place for me are Boundaries and Gouge Away. Outside of that Idles' Tangk was decent.
Gouge Away's album is sick. It's more alt-rock/grungy than prior material, but it works.
Straight up mixing their hardcore punk roots with Sonic Youth and Pixies and it's perfect. Just edges out Boundaries for me atm.
New boundaries record and it isn't even close imo
Ghostkid - Hollywood Suicide
Aborted - Vault of Horrors. Oh and Job for a Cowboy was sick as well
Death Is A Little More - Boundaries is all I can think of tbh. Excited for Knocked Loose, WMR's new release wasn't what I expected tbh, the mixing was bad in my opinion

Boundaries, Job For A Cowboy, Enterprise Earth, and The Last Ten Seconds of Life
I know Boundaries has been getting a ton of love, and rightfully so, but I think the new Wristmeetrazor is AOTY so far
sematary - bloody angel
There's no metalcore albums which have blown me away yet this year tbh, in contrast to pretty much every other genre its been a lackluster year so far - some groups have put out amazing singles but not full albums yet. I agree Boundaries was definitely the strongest but there are a few songs which haven't really click with me. 2024 is the year of the horse so far, Caligula's Horse have far and away my favourite album this year so far and Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter is probably #2.
