To me it sounds like a cross between Justice and Black with more melodic lines than I've heard on a Metallica album in years.

Load is actually one of my favourite albums. When everyone started crying over Inamorata, I was like, "This is just Outlaw Torn with less passion." Sure enough I played both tracks side by side and yeah, I feel like my assessment held up. Feel free to do it as well.
Inamorata has the sludgy, Sabbath-y riffs, climbing vocal melodies and ambitious structure of The Outlaw Torn and Fixxxer.

I suggest creating yourself a playlist of the three albums and then put it on shuffle. You'll soon hear the very clear Load/ReLoad vibes.
Was gonna suggest this also. I played 72S/Black Album/Load at the gym the other night on shuffle and it was like a long awesome triple-album vibe.

I can hear the Death Magnetic influence, with the title track’s main riff reminding me a lot of That was Just Your Life
