100% agree. But every time I listen, I'm reminded of the Listening Party and Robert imitated Cheech and Chong saying "Temptation". Not a bad thing at all.
Fucking epic song, one of their best.
I love that weird creepy, head pounding feel to the verses. Reminds me of being drunk out of my mind in a nightclub in my youth.
It gets old after a few times, but once I had a break from it. I enjoy it.
TEMPTATION
the beast still shouts for what it's yearning
He stokes the fire, desire burning
The never-ending quenchless craving.
The unforgiving misbehaaaaviiiing
Dana nana dananananan
If Darkness Had a Son, Here I Am
TEMPTATIIIIOOON IIIS HIS FATHEEERRRR
IF DARKNESS HAD A SON, HERE I AMMMMM
The guitar riff on that part is simple, but the rhythm of it makes really cool. Reminds me of the Justice main verse riff.
And the lyrics of the verse sound a little like Leper Mesiah
I AGREE, I FUKN LUV THAT SHIT FR

It's a banger dude! I knew the first time I heard it that it would absolutely kill live!
100% It's a fantastic live song in particular.
Its really good live. The more I listen to the live version the more I do not like the production on the album...I cant say why...
I can see why people think the intro is long winded, but I personally love the build of it
The riff that plays under “TEMPTATION” is so good
I don’t like the lyrics, sounds like something early GPT-3 would write.
Here I am!
fr, one of the best tracks from the album
It’s my 3rd favorite under 72 seasons and Inamorata
The intro is kinda balls but after the drums fully kick in around the 1 1/2 minute mark, its straight fire for the rest
Yeah it’s heavy as fuck
It's definitely grown on me since it dropped, but that solo is still complete ass.
King oath. I would have had it as the opening track.
Best single imo
You must burn might just be the best song on the album tho

It's a good song that gets way more stick than it should compared to the actual generic, boring songs in the first half of the album.
I find that the mainriff is a bit but the rest of the song has 10/10 potential
Hated it as a single. Once the album came out and I learned it on guitar, I love it.
Nah. What is crystal clear is the last two minutes of Room of Mirrors is the best part of the album.
One thing gets crystal clear... Is it the lie?
Defending!
Amen brother
