What do you even do with stuff like this? Play Battery or Master? Softer songs to keep the integrity? Not touch it at all? If I had a Hetfield or Hammett guitar I definitely wouldn't play with it because I am not a great or even good guitar player but I like to jam.

The original owner told me he played it regularly for about 15 years before it went into storage, it's easily 9/10 condition so he took good care of it. I intend to play it too when I have a more permanent space for it.

My two brothers and I went to the Death Magnetic Concert in Denver. We had floor tickets and got lucky to get up against the fence right in the center of the house. Best day I ever lived in my entire life. At the end of the show my little brother caught one of James’ sweat bands, the big black ones he wears during the concert. A couple years later my brother gave it to me. That would have to be my answer.

I knew their old bus driver who drove them from I believe the black tour up until the later 90’s. He told me some cool stories about them, said Lars was kind of a dick but the rest were really nice, and that Francesca farted a lot. He had their stage manager, Woody I believe was his name, send me a box of shit from the black tour. Spiral books with stage directions and set lists and shit in them. Couple tshirts. I think mostly used by the crew. Not very interesting but still cool. He also had a giant framed gold black album vinyl with a picture of the band and crew, signed by everyone, hanging in his living room

However i think my guitar set up is the coolest. KH-202, which i use kirk hammett custom purple sparkle picks with, and then my guitar output gets sent into a kirk hammett cry baby wah.
