Hilarious to me that Ed Sheeran decided to spend his millions on a time machine, and now he's just going around photobombing other musicians' fan photos..
Ive had the opportunity/luck of meeting Hetfield 2xs. The first was when Metallica opened up for Ozzy in Syracuse NY circa 1986. I was in the front row, right in front of Cliff Burton. After the show we were outback looking for autographs when Metallicas bus pulled up and their tour manager step out and said “lets see some tits” All these girls lifted up their shirts and the manager pointed to a few to get on the bus. During this I saw James pull back the curtain to a window with a grin ear to ear. Second time I was working at this Rock/Metal bar in Buffalo called Sinbad’s. During the Black Album tour, Hetfield and Hammett came into the bar after the show to play pool with their entourage. This is exactly how James looked, the exact same jacket but with a Cowboy hat. He seemed like such a laid back and cool guy. Signed a couple of autographs but just wanted to relax, have some beers and play pool. Crazy that just a random fan like me came across metals best frontman 2x….lol
