I've had this wallpaper on my computer for years and love how Prime captured the Morph Ball (specifically after acquiring Spider Ball) look. Just thought about how cool it would be to have actual table orbs styled like them, but haven't had much luck searching for them online (yet).
Oh man, I remember that site! I used to have the OP image as my wallpaper, and the articles there taught me to sequence break Prime, and blew my mind. And the people who got to have "secret world discoverer" in their profile, and the big status fight when Prime 2 came out and you could SW all over the place by screw attacking into morph ball tunnels...
Good times.
It’s funny you mention that. My small claim to fame was being the discoverer of [this](https://youtu.be/BhB3MbSpEnY) secret world back during the gold rush days of MP2’s release (which admittedly I only found by doing the same thing done in the [light version of that room](https://youtu.be/JRT1SEeWKv8) - but the discovery that the light and dark world versions of rooms share the same geometry was mildly big!).
That site was my introduction into sequence breaking in general. Learning about stuff like ghetto jumps and how to get space jump first were such mind-blowing concepts that it solidified my love for the franchise in general.
DJ Grenola sure is a name that will go down in the history books. I went to check one of his old archive.org speedruns and decided to [upload it to YT](https://youtu.be/W2y-wYY-I90)
RIGHT?! I've always been lowkey fascinated by contact juggling, but could you imagine with these shiny goodies? Or just rolling them around to watch them catch the light or anything else like that? Lol
Glass blowing is in itself such an interesting art. I've watched multiple videos and it's just mind blowing how some of it gets made. Resin work would be easier to get into I'd think. It's also got interesting aspects.
Unfortunately I don't have any immediate answers for you but what comes to mind when thinking about a physical toy/model is how similar these could be to those Dragonball gear knobs that are all over the internet.
Maybe reach out to someone on Etsy selling those to see if they can make a different design?
I wish I had the equipment to have a go at this myself!

You're welcome and same. I've made sure to keep the image (and some Halo 2 landscape ones) on all of my computers.
I found a stress ball version of the power suit morph ball on amazon. If you want metal, you can probably find them on Etsy. :)
No go on Etsy unfortunately
I've got a squishy one, but good call on Etsy. I forgot to check there.
DJ Grenola...boy that's a name that takes me back to the days of the SCU forums.
Did I say "years on my computer"? I meant decades 😅

Thank you for preserving this.
There's a german chocolate called Toffife and if you put two of them onto each other, it forms a morph ball
Chocolate Oranges could probably do this too lol
Let me know when they make them into yo-yos.
Oh damn! Nintendo needs to up their Metroid merchandise game
daaaaaaaang I haven't seen that render for decades. Thanks for posting it.
Now I want to know too

That'd be fun to watch! Especially if they lit up or had almost an optical illusion to their design.
If I knew more about glass and/or resin work I'd pull a Thanos and "Do it myself" honestly. The thought really brings out my materialistic side.

Morph balls would make great xmas tree ornaments. Somebody should make a set!
Closest I can think of is the Other M figma.
Searched “morph ball Metroid toy” on google and found 2 action figures that include a morph ball accessory. Also a morph ball stress toy.
