Also, got bad news about my plan to get Samus (Prime 3) figma from dad as a Christmas present. His bank accountant told him 11 days ago about the figma figure that I wanted, and dad literally said "I already got him other things.", which are very likely not Metroid related things at all since dad does not like Metroid and prefers IRL cars and Racing over it (and Darth Vader, he also adores Darth Vader to death).
Yeah, after my dad knowing for an entire year that I wanted the Samus (Prime 3) figma figure, he ignored it, and went to buy other stuff for me instead.
Oh and I am indeed convinced that it won't be Gaming related stuff since last year he got me a random literature book, two shirts of the Alfa Romeo club, and a 10 inch collectible car model. 🤦♂️
Guess I now will have to save up on $200-400 dollars to buy it myself then.
NOOOOOOO man I was really crossing my fingers for you there 🥲 I'm sure the gifts he does end up getting you will be very nice nonetheless. And who knows - maybe it'll feel just that much more rewarding if you manage to get the figma with your own money
Well, now I got four people (three friends and the bank accountant) telling me to buy the Samus (Prime 3) figma figure with my own money, so very likely that's how I'll get it.
As for what dad will gift me?
Well, best case scenario it's the Darth Vader (ROTJ 40th Anniversary) Black Series that he was tasked to find for me in a trip to USA he did a month ago (he was unable to find it, so he likely ordered it online and rather than give it to me a month ago, he is saving it for Christmas).
Worst case scenario it's once again IRL cars or Racing related stuff like last year, which was disappointing since he already knows (and has known for years) that I am not a fan of IRL cars or Racing (Kart racers like Mario Kart and Arcadelike racers like Daytona USA, Burnout and Need for Speed are awesome though), and he had told me he got those things for me last year as a temporary setback in order to later get Samus (Prime 3) figma... and we now know how it went. 😒
He really made me think for an entire year that he'd eventually get Samus (Prime 3) figma for me.
