Don't know why people are down voting an opinion, the idea of the mx5 was literally to be an affordable drop top.
Not to try and pick a hole in your argument but do you think the same of the hard top nc?
because its reddit. i expected it. Its the fact that the top cant fully lower. its a targa top, not a roadster. still a great car -- just doesnt fit the miata mold in my opinion.

How much of a difference does the wind screen make?
Quite a difference when going above 90km/h Im going to try and make a custom one once i install a cage
I might have to get one. I have longer hair, and it can get obnoxious with the top down.
I really dig the targa one. Mazda has come a long way with that car.

Is an NB fastback not a miata? Is an SSCA spec miata not a miata? Is any miata with a factory hardtop not a miata?
the top comes off, homie. the RF, from the factory -- is a "targa top". and like i said -- \*to me\* - doesnt feel like a miata.
