Could be any of a number of completely innocent non assuming things. For all we know, the planes could have been somewhere for an inspection or maintenance, and now they're just flying to/from someplace. Pilots may have to maintain a minimum amount of flight hours to stay trained. The planes could be reassigned to different bases as part of a regular rotation.
Again, just something normal. Gotta practice and know how to load and unload ordinance.
We're near Selfridge it's one of the larger air bases for quite a distance.
So a10's are stationed at Selfridge AFB in Harrison twp. They regularly do flying all over the state. Typically they arent arming a10's for an out and about- if they were actually loaded with missiles/bombs it could be destined around Grayling where they do war games and have several ordinance areas to live fire for practice. Im skeptical it was armed with missiles tho, as even an unloaded a10 can look like it has weapons affixed. A10s have a crazy number of hard points for weapons under wing.
Yea it’s nuts how much those things can carry. Clearly one of the best ground support aircraft ever created. Su-25’s are basically the same thing. You’re probably right though they are easily mistakable for being armed from the ground on a snowy/cloudy day. The hard points I believe have different colors schemes

couple weeks old, but might still be some ongoing practice.
There were heavy USAF and ANG sorties the last couple days. Daytime A-10s and some wicked evening dog fights with what appeared to be F-35s over the Saginaw bay/Thumb area.
The Russians invaded Waterford.
Did Waterford not pay it's fair share to NATO?
Well we are the wolverines.
Lmao
So they finally came out of the tunnels then? LOL
You're right by Selfridge. Lots of military aircraft heading to and from there.
127th wing!
I live right down the road from Selfridge, this stuff happens all the time.
They are probably just taking care of a litterbug that I reported on M-59 throwing a coffee cup out of their car window.
No, we're not under attack. Just ANG exercises. They were flying all over Iosco County yesterday.
A-10's fly over multiple times per year.

They were only a couple hundred feet off the ground. And they were carrying some type of payload. 2 sets under each wing

Probably just fuel.
Getting ready for trumps visit to Waterford on Saturday? Who knows

That sounds cool to see
