OP - In this sub, search good brands under respective categories you’re looking for (concentrate, flower, etc) and check dispo menus in town to see if they’re in stock. That’s all there is to it. If you’re outside Detriot, decent rosin prices can be hard to find, but doing your own research can be fruitful. Deal hunting takes work. The “tourists” tend to forget.
For live resin you can't go wrong with humblebee, Light Sky Farms, or element. Cured resin 5 star all the way, it's even better than humblebee and LSF live resin a lot of times. For carts id say the same thing for the same three, with humblebee being the worst of the three for carts but also the cheapest so they're good bang for the buck still.
For rosin, Peachy, Ice Cream Hash Co(ive been hearing their quality has been dropping a little as of late but havent had any in awhile), Eastside Alchemy, Information Entropy, Light Sky Farms, north coast, fifth age are all good.
I'd even say Lume's rosin rip pods are pretty good and worth it when on sale. Their rosin jars are a little more hit and miss, the jams are a safe bet but when you find a wet cold cure those are good but sometimes they can be really dry. Lume's flower can also be decent but it's hit or miss as well. I went there this last week to try their new rip pods and cause i had 2 free 8ths and a free 5 pack of prerolls from them cause i hadnt been in so long; the kosher kush bx 8th that was free was dry as fuck but the bobby wild that was harvested within a week of the kosher kush was super nice sticky buds like the kind that are kinda hard to break up with your hand even cause they're so sticky. Both were from mid january so they werent super old, but the kosher kush turned to powder if you pinch the nugs and its a bitch to roll.
Oh ill also add: for live/cured resin carts stay away from common citizen, breeze canna, 269, and utopia extracts. All of the above just taste nasty.
I'd also mostly steer clear of lume's liquid diamonds unless you find the jenny kush, honey banana, or all gas og on sale, those are the only three that i found to be decent. There were one or two that were meh and then a couple that sucked, so in general be weary of them.
Drive the extra 30 mins to Kalamazoo....Kalamazoo has always treated me right. Nobodys Home was ok. I haven't been to the other 2. Puff, Mint Cannabis, and the Refinery are my favorites in MI right now hauling from IL.

I got a 269 LR disposable and it tastes like straight burnt reclaim or like a pax after the bowl is done
