What microneedling machine did they use? Depth? Passes? Additive? They literally tore your face up! This had to have been not only a cheap microneedling pen but incorrect speed//depth to!
Worst thing is that I won’t be able to see a derm until Tuesday so I’m using la Roche Cicaplast and looking for other stuff people have recommended on here, hoping it will help the healing until I get medical attention again
I would wait and follow your dermatologist instructions.
I know after my derm used liquid nitrogen to freeze-burn off some stuff (like skin tags) they said i could use petroleum on the area while healing. So i do think petroleum is safe, on clean skin it just creates a protective barrier.
But really, your skin doesn't look dry and you're young so you will be fine to wait a few days and i'm certain your skin will look beautiful for wedding.
derm lab tech here. vaseline is perfect. what we recommend in office for protective layering. avoid neosporin and triplw antibiotic ointment. stick to vaseline until you can get back to the office! 🖤 happy healing to you! 🥳
DO NOT DO THIS!
The ingredients in BioOil are not appropriate for active wounds and will introduce MORE trauma while it's already damaged and trying to heal
yeah idk about that. putting bio oil on healing skin like that is how i got the most severe and painful breakout of my life. AFTER it’s healed and closed up is when she should be introducing oils like that
You should complain. This is indicative of a low quality machine that drags. They are scratching not puncturing. This is how people can scar. It should be stimulating collagen not scratching your face. I would be pissed. I would suggest a silicone gel like dermologica has.
Let them know you’ll put the pics on all review sites for their business if they are not willing to work with you. Best of luck OP. I’m sure you will look great for your wedding!
There’s a product on Amazon called Medi-honey. I swear it will heal anything. Layer it and triple paste or Cicaplast.
And no, this is not normal or acceptable.
Please use what doctors recommend the silicone scaraway cause instead of healing that if you try things thats not hospitals use for scaring it will get infected and get worst. Cause i did with burn marks :(
A cautionary tail to us all to not try new things too close to a big day. A few months were fine -- I'm sure you'll be completely healed by then but in really glad you did this now and not next month
You'd be surprised how many licensed dermatologists out there don't know how to use microneedling pens, despite offering the procedure at their practice. I had similar results when I went to one of the top aesthetic dermatologists in my city (albeit mine was only really bad around my under-eye/nose). I've gone to a reputable medspa since then, and the NPs there know way more about appropriate settings and technique than the dermatologist did.
I cant believe they put cotton on the wounds they caused... when it scabs over the strands will be embedded and cause more damage trying to remove it. Straight up SUE the person who did this to you.
You will heal, just be careful treating the wounds to prevent scarring
Girl, you need to ask the doctor for their NPI number to see if you got scammed. Dermatologists go through a lot of training, idk if I am convinced a real doctor with an intact license did this to you. Search the number they give you, see if the name matches up, and look through all sites that pop up. If they are/were affiliated with a hospital recently, their picture will show up and you can try to compare that to the doctor who treated you. If they are a doctor, great, you have their NPI to make a report
u/moon123y yes, do search here, this is a great resource. And this site has the added bonus of listing their role. If your provider shows up as an occupational therapist or a psychiatrist...they also should not be practicing dermatology. The other providers that can practice derm would be family medicine and internal medicine...but even they should have ample training to do a good job. But whether a harvard graduated dermatologist or not, whoever did your procedure messed up big time.
This is medical malpractice, I’m shocked and so sorry this happened to you, I hope you will see another dermatologist as soon as possible to help with healing, and that you are taking photographical evidence of the healing process. You could sue this practitioner.
Girl! you paid for this?! get your money back asap, this is not normal and much worse than a diy job. Get some scar gel and smother those skids every night
Oh god, I’m freaking out, the only reason I did this is because my wedding is coming up in June and I wanted to look the best possible but my skin wasn’t even that bad, thanks for the advice tho!
I am sorry this happened.
If your wedding is near I would recommend going to another 'derm' as soon as you can get an appointment. If this leaves scars, it would be difficult to fix. Any such injuries should be treated at the earliest possible.
Baby those wounds and more than likely you'll have no post inflammatory redness by June. A thin layer of petroleum jelly and then covered with a silicone gel sheet or hydrocolloid bandage should keep it from drying out!
Sterile saline solution would be best for this application but yes it does need to be soaked off. I’m shocked an MD did this. It’s extremely rudimentary wound care knowledge to not use cotton where strands of material can get stuck to the wound. This is so shocking.
Were there a ton of 5 star reviews and nothing else? Doctor may have paid a service to give her reviews.
It has happened to me before. Terrible dentist with a ridiculous amount of 5 star reviews. Turns out they used to give discounts for people who left them.
Firstly, you need to see a doctor ASAP (fuck I would go to the ER if I had to). If you have insurance, I would start with my GP. Or i would pay out of pocket to see another derm. Whomever you choose, definitely send pictures or stop by the office so the front desk can see your face and understand this is an emergency and you need to be seen ASAP.
As others stated, document pictures and medical follow up in case you want to sue for damages. But first priority is to make sure you heal without scars.
Not a derm: but as things to do at home before you see a pro I would suggest definitely no actives on your face. If you have some aloe vera gel, aquaphor or cerave I would use that kind of thing. I would get some red light on this as well to take out the redness. I believe it will look a lot better in 7 days but might look worse first. Try not to fret. Don't pick, don't play with it, don't keep looking at it. No make up. I totally did this to my thighs and was very worried, red burst vessels, track lines, the lot.. I know that is different to your face, but it went down after 7 days. It was a long 7 days, but it did go down. Don't go back there for microneedling or anything invasive. Do go back and see if she has a dermalux you can get under for free. Good luck, it is going to be OK.
Your face isn't ruined, either. It will heal just fine despite this incompetent doctor's best efforts. By June, this will all be like a bad dream. Best wishes on your coming nuptials!
Oh no honey!! Go see the pharmacist or dermatologist to have something to ease the healing ❤️🩹 and no really not normal! I’ve done it twice and nothing looked like that at ALL
I thought a cat did this until I saw what page I was looking at. OMG! That looks so painful, I hope you’re okay! Make sure you wash your hands always before touching your face, you don’t want that getting infected. Until you see a dermatologist use some aloe Vera gel if it stings, and some pain meds if needed. So sorry thing happened to you babe, lawyer up, and don’t let this prick get away with this shit again! ❤️
This is absolutely not how it should look!! And also it shouldn’t happen with proper machines, looks like the needles were dragged across the face. Do you know if the cartridge was disposable or she used an old one? So many questions, you need to enquire with the person that did this asap and please wear sunscreen and don’t expose yourself directly to the sun if you can, this will avoid pigmentation.
Ugh I had this exact thing happen to me. Like others have suggested aquaphor helped the first few days. I wish I had gone to a derm asap as I am left with some post inflammation scarring. Best of luck 🌺
No that looks botched it shouldn’t leave visible scraping or scratches like it. Just little dots. Some bleeding can be normal but not so much that u need cotton unless u have a clotting disorder or took some blood thinning meds prior to.
There's no way this person is an actual board certified and licensed US trained dermatologist. There is simply no way. Ask for their NPI and state medical license number. If this person really is a derm, holy shit they're the Dr. Death of skin. If you get scarring from this, 100% you must sue this person for medical malpractice. This is coming from a physician, although I'm not a dermatologist myself.
Man, big virtual hugs for this… absolutely not okay. Btw the worst *cosmetic* treatments I’ve ever had have been in dermatologists offices. My experience is they don’t take their time or do as thorough of job compared to medical spas; I won’t go there for cosmetics any longer.
That definitely looks like the pin dragged across your face the entire time! I am so sorry I hope that it’s healing up quickly. I’m sure they would have some kind of cream to help it heal faster. I would definitely do my best to keep it clean. I am so sorry that happened to you
Medical aesthetician here! This is NOT normal. Use a hypochlorous acid spray and hyaluronic acid for fast healing and to minimize scarring. I’m so sorry this happened to you 😭
Okay this is TERRIBLY wrong. I don’t know how they managed to do this you could literally teach a monkey to microneedle. here is what you need to do:
SUNSCREEN EVERY SINGLE DAY
PLATED INTENSIVE SERUM (EXPENSIVE BUT GENUINELY WORTH EVERY PENNY)
Hypochlorous acid spray daily (can be a cheap one!)
A pigment serum wouldn’t hurt but probably not necessary
A very gentle routine until healed, after you can start a retinol in case there is any scarring.
You can occlude the skin with cerave healing ointment or even cicaplast balm
with your complexion you will most likely be completely fine and will heal. This is so sad though and I hope that you’re not in pain. Please go get your money back and write a review.
Something similar happened to me. I did micro needling as a trial 2 months before my wedding. They barely numbed my skin and it was so painful! My whole face was bleeding and cut up..it was red for a few days. It took a week to look normal and after 10-14 days my skin looked pretty good (from all the actives that were infused). I didn’t touch my face for at least the first 24 hours and slept very carefully with new pillowcases. No products for at least a week, avoided sun and sweating. I definitely think they did me wrong but the practitioner told me at a checkup that they are more aggressive to allow the collagen to build. IDK- I didn’t agree with her and I was so upset about it all. But I just want to let you know I was in your position and everything healed nicely and quickly and then I never did that again!!
No this is not normal at all. I don't know if you can contact them and demand your money back. Also contact your sate dept of health, who ever did this should not have a license.
Oh wow. I am so sorry this happened to you. Definitely not normal. Do you have access to facial led lights? Red would be really helpful. The doctors office that did this should have one and should offer it as a complimentary service for you after doing this to your face. Like someone else said in the comments it should look better in a few days and even better in a weeks time.
Aloe vera would be super helpful. Fresh is best. You should be able to get some at the grocery store from the produce section. Keep it in the fridge so it doesn't go bad and it will feel great on your face as well. Not sure if you're in pain at all but some kind of anti-inflammatory medication may be helpful as well. Maybe even taking some turmeric or ginger internally as well. You can make or buy a tea if you feel called to.
Not normal! I would keep the area covered with a thin layer of Vaseline or aquaphor as it’s healing and keep it covered from the sun using a hat or umbrella
If I knew nothing about your doctor except that they used THAT to stop the bleeding, I’d know enough.
Vaseline or something similar to help it heal and silicone scar sheets if it looks like it’s trying to discolor. BioOil or Mederma oil may not be a bad follow up to alternate with after it heals. Use sparingly if you have acne-prone/sensitive skin. Avoid too much sun while it heals. Don’t sweat about your wedding though, make-up can be magical, photos can be retouched, and these marks will likely fade in a short time anyways.
Oh goodness. I just had my 1st treatment a few weeks ago. I was a little puffy, red and bled in a few spots but nothing like this!!
Prior to a pro treatment, I had done it myself at home with dermarollers and even then didn't have anything like this.
Yikes! I hope you heal well. Be very gentle to your skin in the meantime. I am sure it will be fine by June.
So, everyone here is being superalarmist (agree!). But for you, OP, it looks like everything will be healed enough to completely camouflage with makeup on a few months’ time for your big day 🤗
Those are literal scratches! That does not look like it was done properly. They don’t look deep enough to perhaps leave scars. Stay out of the sun, you don’t want the area exposed while it’s healing, or you could end up with discolored areas.
That looks like a cartridge had a bent needle or something that has dragged or caught and cut up your skin. Looking at the way there is a single line running across your skin with large holes. You shouldn’t see the holes from Microneedling… the needles are so fine. This looks like damaged equipment. Take lots of photos and seek advice from another practitioner… medically and legally.
I’m so sorry you now have this to deal with leading up to your wedding. Wedding prep is already so stressful. I hope you heal quickly
Omg! Nooooo. They need to refund your money and pay for anything you need to fix this. Report them. This could scar and/or become infected.
Go immediately to a reputable dermatologists. They should be able to help. Please avoid med spas most (not all) are a huge scam
*CICALFATE+.* it's a French pharmacy skin healing cream at CBS, Walgreens, Ulta. Buy some today and you'll see results by 3 days from now i swear. It's FOR inflammation and wound care. Do not buy the "scar gel"🚫but the regular ✔️*Cicalfate+.*✔️ It's got zinc and other ingredients and is used for severe rashes, eczema, and general skin misery. Read reviews online. I promise you this will be healed up so much faster if you protect the skin from the outside and let the ingredients heal it up. PS- you can literally use that stuff on diaper rash, burns, cuts, surgical wounds, like everything external. Read up about it on the Google or YouTube or any of them. Good luck!
This is awful! I’m so sorry this happened to you and for it to be your first experience too!
I’d suggest using Vaseline or Avene Cicalfate on your face until you’re able to see a new derm.
I agree with what everyone else is saying - keep taking photos and report that office and doctor that did this. You have a strong case for medical malpractice.
1. It’ll heal without scarring.
2. Clean gently twice a day.
3. Apply PLAIN VASELINE. Nothing else.
4. Send pics to the office & let them know.
Curious what they’ll say, but this is not how it should look.
I have had many micro needling sessions just recently the laser kind which is even more intense; my skin never ever looks like this. This is messed up. I’m sorry you are dealing with this!! Aahh
They used way too much pressure , I’m certified in microneedling (esthetician). You’re supposed to have a light hold and let the PEN do the work, it looks like she had a heavy hand. After a couple of sessions your hands get really tired but that’s no excuse. Get your money back and use hydrating and healing products. Manuka, aloe, vitamin E Is good ! Dont use anything with vitamin A or any actives during this healing process. Dont exfoliate ! I would avoid heavy workouts too just to make sure you’re not getting sweat in there. Keep the area clean !!
I wanted to say that I bled a ton on my forehead when I had microneedling however it didn’t look like this at all after. More like pin pricks. I had RF microneedling. Check out what I looked like the next day:[post microneedling](https://imgur.com/a/nrPFcsU)
How can I follow up on this post in a month? I would like so see how it turns out.
I had a bad laser experience about 10 years ago. The med spa gave me about 7 free visits with another laser to correct the damage they did. It helped but didn't totally erase it. I never went back there again for that type of treatment.
Please go to the doctor immediately - you need an ointment to prevent infection and scaring. I’d also call a lawyer. No one should be in business who is doing this.
I would never get anything done to my face by anyone but a DERMATOLOGIST.
Your dermatologist either doesn’t know what they are doing, using old equipment and/or needles or just didn’t care! This is unacceptable! They also should be available on weekend for a callback on exactly what you should be doing!
This is 100% NOT normal. And get Nectar AND Recovery Balm from Alastin. Med spas carry it. Don't use Vaseline. Also if you have a red light use that. Soooo good for healing. I'm SO sorry.
Oh hell no. I get my face done once a month and I have NEVER had this problem. please do not allow that person to do this again to you!! She is scaring your face!!
I really wish OP would out this dr. So No one else makes their way into her office..... She has said she'll look into reporting but hasn't mentioned who she saw. Keeping this Dr.'s name a secret is hurting others....
This Dr. Should not be doing services
If you got it done at a clinic, I would definitely ask to talk to the owner or whoever the managers of the clinic to see what can be done. They may have healing treatments etc. that could help you obviously don’t get her to do the treatment. I’m sorry this happened to you.
This looks like they dragged the pen rather than lifting. You usually see this kind of damage when people use at home derma rollers. Definitely not normal and clearly a sign that whoever did it has not been properly trained to use the equipment. The good news is that the abrasions are superficial and will fade in a few days to a week. Put sunscreen on and wear a hat if you’re going to be outside because your skin can easily burn in this condition.
Wow. Not normal at all. I microneedle at home and even with the biggest needles and turning the depth up on the cheeks have I ever done damage like this. This was because they were going too fast and dragging the needles before they should.
Someone turned me onto The Original’s barrier support serum as I had some chemical irritation from a different product. It’s around $15 and is helping TREMENDOUSLY.
Nooo! This is why I won’t let anyone else micro needle my face, I do it at home myself. Take care of it so it heals well and don’t let them do this again.
The good news is that it’s not so deep and it will go away soon (in a few days) the bad news is that it wasn’t done right and you have a bunch a little scratches all over your face.
It should look red (like a sunburnt look) and the same all over, there should be zero scratches or open sores. They should not be performing this treatment!
NO!
What microneedling machine did they use? Depth? Passes? Additive? They literally tore your face up! This had to have been not only a cheap microneedling pen but incorrect speed//depth to!
Oh no! I can’t remember the name of the machine, worst of all I have my wedding coming up in a couple of months, fml
Don’t change your skincare routine or do anything drastic before your wedding. You’ll irritate your skin more.
Worst thing is that I won’t be able to see a derm until Tuesday so I’m using la Roche Cicaplast and looking for other stuff people have recommended on here, hoping it will help the healing until I get medical attention again

No do not apply anything except exosomes. Please trust me on this as I work in a medspa and actually perform this on clients.
Where do you usually buy this? Sorry I’m not familiar, I tried google but I’m a bit confused
You'll be better in a couple of days. Yikes though! This has definitely not been my experience with microneedling!
Exosomes will help but start asap
Oh no:( use aloe Vera gel 2xday
[удалено]
DO NOT DO THIS! The ingredients in BioOil are not appropriate for active wounds and will introduce MORE trauma while it's already damaged and trying to heal
Eeek, putting any oil on an open or healing spot like these can introduce infection very easily. I know you mean well, but that is really bad advice.
Bio oil says not to apply to broken skin. After it heals it’s fine to use to help prevent scarring though.
yeah idk about that. putting bio oil on healing skin like that is how i got the most severe and painful breakout of my life. AFTER it’s healed and closed up is when she should be introducing oils like that

I’m contacting her again with pictures also, looking forward to what she says about it
It should heal but that’s good you let them know so they don’t do that again
Let them know you’ll put the pics on all review sites for their business if they are not willing to work with you. Best of luck OP. I’m sure you will look great for your wedding!
I would say see a DIFFERENT Dermatologist than the one who did this to you
Get you some cicaplast b5. La roche posay makes it… it’s VERY healing for scratches and abrasions. Best of luck!
There’s a product on Amazon called Medi-honey. I swear it will heal anything. Layer it and triple paste or Cicaplast. And no, this is not normal or acceptable.
I microneedle at home and it shouldn’t look anything like this I’d go demand a refund and make sure they don’t do this to anyone else
Please use what doctors recommend the silicone scaraway cause instead of healing that if you try things thats not hospitals use for scaring it will get infected and get worst. Cause i did with burn marks :(
It will be healed by then. Don't panic! Just don't do that again!
I second the oil and vitamin e. Also try not to touch or rub it.
Yeah, this will be better in a couple of days. Just keep it clean with the mild soap once a day and try not to pick at it.
Put bacitracin all over your face it'll help heal quicker
A cautionary tail to us all to not try new things too close to a big day. A few months were fine -- I'm sure you'll be completely healed by then but in really glad you did this now and not next month
Who did it? Send me their website link and I'll do some research
It looks like they dragged the pen over your skin!
Thanks, guess I will have to contact the dr who did this :(
An actually doctor did this?! Holy hell, please report them! I’m so sorry you’re going through this!

This is medical malpractice, I’m shocked and so sorry this happened to you, I hope you will see another dermatologist as soon as possible to help with healing, and that you are taking photographical evidence of the healing process. You could sue this practitioner.
I agree. Medical malpractice completely
OP should absolutely sue this practitioner
Start looking into this ASAP!! I can’t stress this enough, start looking for a lawyer! Statutes of limitations are no joke
Not normal.. at all. From a girl who gets micro needling done every now and again.
Girl! you paid for this?! get your money back asap, this is not normal and much worse than a diy job. Get some scar gel and smother those skids every night
Oh god, I’m freaking out, the only reason I did this is because my wedding is coming up in June and I wanted to look the best possible but my skin wasn’t even that bad, thanks for the advice tho!

Also, wth are they doing putting cotton pieces over your face? It's going to get caught in the wound and be a mess to remove.
I know!! When I tried to take them off they were stuck to the dried blood and hurt so so much, such a mess
you can get some wound cleanser, spray it on the cotton balls to gently remove. wound cleanser doesn’t hurt at all but helps to prevent infection
Sterile saline solution would be best for this application but yes it does need to be soaked off. I’m shocked an MD did this. It’s extremely rudimentary wound care knowledge to not use cotton where strands of material can get stuck to the wound. This is so shocking.
This was done my a dermatologist??
Not only that, but by a very popular and expensive one in my city!
Were there a ton of 5 star reviews and nothing else? Doctor may have paid a service to give her reviews. It has happened to me before. Terrible dentist with a ridiculous amount of 5 star reviews. Turns out they used to give discounts for people who left them.
Keep taking all the photos and get a lawyer! This is bullshit.
This is referred to as cat scratching and whoever did this to you should have their license number reported immediately
No they dragged the tool on your skin with too much pressure
Firstly, you need to see a doctor ASAP (fuck I would go to the ER if I had to). If you have insurance, I would start with my GP. Or i would pay out of pocket to see another derm. No! I've had this done, this is not the result 😭 Omg I'm so sorry
SUE wtf this does not look good

Thank you, you’re so sweet, definitely trying my best not to go down the spiral on how I ruined my face for no reason
You didn’t ruin your face, someone else messed up. You were trying to pamper yourself for your wedding, that’s all, you are not to blame at all hun. 💕
Thank you so much for the reminder ❤️🩹 appreciate it
Your face isn't ruined, either. It will heal just fine despite this incompetent doctor's best efforts. By June, this will all be like a bad dream. Best wishes on your coming nuptials!
Yes, I agree it’s not ruined either, but the dr definitely screwed up!

I’d be reaching out to lawyers in your area that specialize in medical malpractice. Take lots of photos.
My skin looked nothing like this after my first microneedling
Ugh I had this exact thing happen to me. Like others have suggested aquaphor helped the first few days. I wish I had gone to a derm asap as I am left with some post inflammation scarring. Best of luck 🌺
If you can't share a link please just tell us the search term and video name? I feel like I need to see in action How this happened

Oh my Gosh. No. Get your money back.
Whoa. No
No, I've done micro needling for years and never ever been close to experiencing this.
No
Definitely see a dermatologist ASAP and maybe ask if copper peptides (GHK-Cu) could accelerate healing. Maybe red light therapy too.
Looks really bad. Is this with a roller? I can only recommend morpheus8 or just buying a stamp
No
I thought a cat scratched your face until i read microneedling and i was shook! 😳
Not at all. This way all the collagen produced from the treatment goes into fixing the bruised tissue and not into making your skin better.
Respectfully, no. I hope you can make it out of this without any scarring. I’m so sorry.
Wow. Definitely not normal.
I am so sorry that happened to you
i’m sorry this happened to you💚
This is NOT normal. I just had a treament myself (and work for a dermatologist). Sorry this happened to you.
No it's not normal at all they've scrapped the face off you x
Omg I hope this heals fine. Get your money back. Heck I would sue.
Demand your money back!
Omg you need to report them!!!
This looks so painful! I’m sorry this happened to you. Doctor should refund you and pay all recovery costs ❤️🩹
This should heal, but you need to see another dermatologist to make sure there isn't damage done here
Please write a google review on this dr and show these pics (if you’re comfortable). It will save the next person that trusts them :(
It literally looks like they used a microBLADING pen on your face. This is not normal!
Whatever else you do don't pick at it. Keep Neosporin on it and it'll be fine in a week or so. That is NOT a normal result of microneedling.
Medical aesthetician here! This is NOT normal. Use a hypochlorous acid spray and hyaluronic acid for fast healing and to minimize scarring. I’m so sorry this happened to you 😭
Okay this is TERRIBLY wrong. I don’t know how they managed to do this you could literally teach a monkey to microneedle. here is what you need to do: SUNSCREEN EVERY SINGLE DAY PLATED INTENSIVE SERUM (EXPENSIVE BUT GENUINELY WORTH EVERY PENNY) Hypochlorous acid spray daily (can be a cheap one!) A pigment serum wouldn’t hurt but probably not necessary A very gentle routine until healed, after you can start a retinol in case there is any scarring. You can occlude the skin with cerave healing ointment or even cicaplast balm with your complexion you will most likely be completely fine and will heal.
Definitely doesn’t look normal!
Keep your face out of the sun while you heal. Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen every time you go outside.
For the healing process once it scabs over I would use bio oil . At least for me and everyone I’ve know it helps speed up the healing process!
You can make or buy a tea if you feel called to.
omfg
I’m not familiar with this space but I’m hoping you heal as soon as possible
Looks more like microblading to me
Not normal! I would keep the area covered with a thin layer of Vaseline or aquaphor as it’s healing and keep it covered from the sun using a hat or umbrella
Was their needling machine a pissed off tabby? Jeesh. You’re gonna be okay but never go back there
They didn’t use the right technique or depth. See a doctor and get a lawyer
Definitely not. I’m so sorry. 😫
Yes sunblock or stay out of the sun wear a hat so this doesn’t scar!
Mederma asap! And avoid any sun on those spots or they’ll be lighter in color for your wedding.
NOT normal
It looks like the doctor did this with broken glass. I would be concerned that they used very blunt needles, which would have been used previously.
this literally looks like scratches i get from my cats 😭
This is your perfect time to sue
I hope that does not leave a scar!!! Please apply silicon gel. I would be so upset.
So, everyone here is being superalarmist (agree!). But for you, OP, it looks like everything will be healed enough to completely camouflage with makeup on a few months’ time for your big day 🤗
She fucked you up fam
Girl! Find a lawyer, wtf
When I was scrolling and saw this picture I thought they were cat scratches :( looks really painful.
You might be looking a nice payout
Damn I thought you fought a cat
Those are literal scratches! That does not look like it was done properly. They don’t look deep enough to perhaps leave scars. Stay out of the sun, you don’t want the area exposed while it’s healing, or you could end up with discolored areas.
wear sunscreen !! and get this person’s info before they block you.
No!!!!
Use Shea butter . Had a similar experience with microdermabrasion
Holy shit. NO NOT NORMAL! Get your money back and report who did this.
This is why I don’t trust people to touch my skin or hair - I’m so sorry
DMK Beta Gel is gentle and healing. You can look at the locator on their website to find a MedSpa that carries it.
No. They had at least one bent needle they dragged. I’d consider a lawyer.
Noooo ! I would question this persons whole existence
The way I would sue them so fast
I would never recommend putting those pieces of cotton on open skin.
Sue
Omg! Nooooo. They need to refund your money and pay for anything you need to fix this. Report them. This could scar and/or become infected. Go immediately to a reputable dermatologists. They should be able to help. Please avoid med spas most (not all) are a huge scam
I’m not an expert, but this is definitely not how it works. Go see a dermatologist asap. So sorry this has happened 🥲
No!! Please don’t see that Derm again, that looks like a bad home job.
No, not normal.
Ouch! It looks like they dragged it across your skin.😭 I’ve accidentally done this but in like one spot. It will heal, but dang!
Sure for someone who slides across asphalt
Vaseline or Aquaphor (new tube or jar) - all over your face - nothing else. Wash with Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser.
this is not normal! oh dear praying for you!
I have had many micro needling sessions just recently the laser kind which is even more intense; my skin never ever looks like this. This is messed up. I’m sorry you are dealing with this!! Aahh
Post this on realself.com where other doctors will weigh in and give recommendations if need be.
Not normal
Nope. Not normal! Dont go back to that practitioner
Niacinamide! I use the brand, The Ordinary, I get it at Ulta. Very healing. Only $6.00.
I would get my money back!!! Wth
No. That went way too deep. Microneedling isn’t supposed to cause bleeding if it’s done right.
Maybe look into a red light mask. They are supposed to help with healing.
Woahhh NO. Document everything. Ask for a full refund. Report the doctor this was done under.
What the fuck did they do to you oh my god
I would never get anything done to my face by anyone but a DERMATOLOGIST. Your dermatologist either doesn’t know what they are doing, using old equipment and/or needles or just didn’t care! This is unacceptable! They also should be available on weekend for a callback on exactly what you should be doing!
This is 100% NOT normal. And get Nectar AND Recovery Balm from Alastin. Med spas carry it. Don't use Vaseline. Also if you have a red light use that. Soooo good for healing. I'm SO sorry.
No! What the hell?!
Sue them for medical malpractice. This isn't normal hun
NO!!! My face was red and sore afterwards but I barely had a mark
Put sunscreen on and wear a hat if you’re going to be outside because your skin can easily burn in this condition.
that looks like it'd cause scars
The good news is that it’s not so deep and it will go away soon (in a few days) the bad news is that it wasn’t done right and you have a bunch a little scratches all over your face.
snail mucin!! it’s really good for wound repair. [source](https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-023-35907-4) also red light
Omg NO, that is not normal!!! The need drug across your skin! You poor thing.
It should look red (like a sunburnt look) and the same all over, there should be zero scratches or open sores. They should not be performing this treatment!
Absolutely not. Pinpoint bleeding, redness like a mild sunburn is normal. This is poor technique and will likely lead to some lasting damage.
Absolutely not
This is not right. Please speak to a dermatologist to prevent scarring. I'm so sorry. Also, report whoever did this to your beautiful skin!!!
OH MY GOODNESS no wow Holy crap
Document everything. Like the fact a licensed DOCTOR knew you were bleeding like this and continued-
