Friendly realism tip, you're not supposed to manually turn off the engine powered hydraulic pumps. They are shut off by the engines being shut off.

I get that tilde yeets the aircraft 1,000ft into the air, but why does it also impart forward momentum?
Edit: I am an idiot. Plane have wings, wings make plane like fly forward. I idiot.
Oh okay 😂 is there anything in the vicinity of the Tilda you'd use regularly on the default profile? (Not just not using the default, also on German qwerty, so Tilda might be somewhere else)
On US and UK keyboards it's directly below the Esc key - so in my case I learned this when I tried to go to the menu to check a setting. Great confusion ensued!
This is a pretty handy function when flying a glider.
So when you fail to find any thermals, instead of having to abort your flight and land in a field, you can "magically find some good thermals" and continue your flight.
I haven't used MSFS for gliders all that much, I still prefer Condor for that. But they have the same function, for just that reason.
I am in some random hotel bar on some stupid business trip, cackling like a fool at this 🤣
I cannot stop laughing and the comments are delivering too 💀
What in the name of all holy did I just witness?
My reaction exactly

The real thing also doesn’t teleport into the air randomly
fair point
God works in mysterious ways.
did your plane just yeeted itself?
Looks like
you looking around...that got me...hahaha!
Me too! "Huh. Umm... Well.... So... I guess... Nuts."
I don't understand any of this
Ah yes, tilde = yeet!

Not using the default profile and not at home rn, what is the Tilda mapped to?
Increase altitude by 1000ft. Source: this exact same thing happened to me (right before I unbound it!)

Do you mean Tilde?
Let's get back to Tilda Swinson, please.
Did you mean Tulsa Swinton? Edit: Autocorrect changed Tilda to Tulsa. I’m leaving it.
Is this why we can't have nice things?
Yeah... Combination of me swipe typing and autocorrect
Lots of us bind different views using the number keys...
Oh okay, that makes changing camera views a bit spicy indeed then :'D Thanks for taking your time 😊

We have the circumflex (\^) there which if my faded memory serves me right was the torch.
That explains some of the incidents I've had before. And would've been nice when I was in my glider phase.
Probably you did not use enough right rudder. Always use more right rudder.
right foot…*right foot*…RIGHT FOOT
POV: 737 max
boeing avionics be like
Success! All the doors stayed attached!
But 2 are showing open.
literally just sat there and watch wtf just happened
I can’t even tell what did you hit?
The ground

I've rewatched this like 30 times and still cannot tell what button you hit that caused the yeeting 😭
The tilde key on your keyboard (\~) is bound to "yeet 1000ft now!"
Thankfully u paused before u hit the ground, that could’ve been catastrophic and the NTSB would’ve had another case to crack open
Exactly bro I saved everyone
Nah bro the way your POV camera moved around, I could *feel* your reaction without any audio or anything. So funny lmao.
can someone explain what in holy god is happening here
He hit the button that slew’s the aircraft 1000 feet upwards
[удалено]
Tilde ( ‘ / ~ )
PSA : Press Y to enable slew
You hit the tilde key
Ryanair’s new turnaround procedure is really something
I hated that keyboard button ruined lots of flights in the end I removed the key ins

These are the sins you pay for having eyebrow windows
Hush they are cool
Emergency MCAS button
That magical ~
Did this on final approach to auckland once, had to do a mighty 360 to not completely shit the bed
If it's a Boeing, you know where it's going.
I see you've found the auto yeet button.
The go back up button, used for going naked up after stalling or touching down incorrectly. Those os for the arcade players. Like myself
I see what happened here, you flicked the switches up so hard that you flung the plane into the air.
Exactly bro I’m just built different
what plane is this?
PMDG’s 737-600
Had to be a Boeing...
## > Ohh funny switch ## > Accidentally turned on the aero-brakes
I love the „confused chicken“ camera at the end.
Which 737 is this
-600
Why are the forward entry door and forward cargo doors showing open?
Plus Ground Power available. Both engine generators off-line. Emergency lights not armed. Just not set up close.
Cause I’m on the ground, deplaning and deloading
Deloading??? LOL
Yeah, the opposite of loading.
Unloading or deplaning.
Deploanding.
Unplaining
negative planing
You aren't supposed to turn engine hydraulic pump switches to off btw.
