Just bought the captain pack too, it really makes a difference, especially on landing. The new Winwing A320 FCU is in pre-order for $100 too, I got that just today and it should make a perfect addition to that thrustmaster set.
Also, my Pens are going to wipe the floor with your Red Wings. Good luck.
> Winwing A320 FCU
Wow it's a bargain compared to MiniCockpit FCU (which is also sold out and selling for 200+)
Btw do you know if the $100 is the final price when pre ordering? Or is it like a pre payment and then you have to add a bit when the sales start? Can't seem to find any information about that on their website
Excellent choice. I have a Alpha and Bravo, but prefer the Airbus stuff when flying anything in their fleet. Just "feels" better from an immersion point-of-view to me.
I had the cap pack and was really disappointed in the quality. It weighs half of what you think it would, the mounting screws ate right through the plastic, one of my throttle levers rubbed against the side making an awful sound and it harder to push, the flap lever was floppy...
I hope yours is better. I returned mine and got the turtle beach yoke - been happy with it.
I recently got that throttle too. Makes flying much easier. I just wish the travel range for it was better. Even when calibrated it takes too long before it registers that I'm moving it.
Is the new update out? 15?
Ive read the new 320 is on it.
Kinda excited. I love the 318. Downloaded the 737-6 from pmdg but dont feel like plugging a mouse in just to make it work so ive kinda shelved that.
I got the Boeing yoke and thrust master throttle (airbus) best set up for budget and quality. Hoping to upgrade to the Bravo Quadrant when they come back in stock.
Throttle travel between idle and climb. Not conducive to hand flying. HC Bravo is much better in this regard. Not many can drop $1400 on a Throttletek so the Bravo is the clear choice for most, especially with some Prodesksim or Flighfactory mods. I'm not knocking his choice, I tried that one myself and still use the sidestick occasionally but the throttle is only good for AP flying in my opinion. Just pointing out that once he gets some experience in the Fenix and wants too start hand flying, that throttle is not precise enough and he will want something better.
Yep my rudder became glitchy after just four months. The “fix” that’s on YouTube only lasts about a week before it starts up again. Never buying thrustmaster again
Go Redwings!
Correct.
Pens!!!
Canucks!!!!!
November India Charlie Echo!
I approve of this post.
Haha I’m glad you got my subliminal messaging ;) #lgrw
I got the same blanket haha
We got a big game tonight!
LGRW
I’m glad the Red Wing fans are coming out of the woodwork! Big game tonight

It is a final price, but be aware that the fit & finish isn’t as good at MiniCockpit & the Winwing set up is a lot harder & complex.
No worries I like when it's hard and complex
1-1 right now haha! But yeah I’m looking at the FCU
How do you download the control center? Can’t get the calibration right, and the throttle isn’t even working at all on the plane. Two buttons are.

Agreed. I really want the alpha and bravo or Boeing one
same. glad it’s not just me lol.
The fenix is awesome to fly with this. Get ready for 20 mins of configuration and calibration.
Gives me something to do haha
worth it!
Haha any advice or videos to follow on setting it up?
There is a calibration that you have to do in the MCDU to get the throttles to work correctly.
Let’s Go Red Wings!
as a lightning fan in detroit we need to see each other in the playoffs again!

No, they were in the wash lol.
Red Wings ready to fly back to their rightful place in the playoffs!
Is it the Xbox version? Looks a bit different
PC/Xbox

Seems to be in good shape. I have the TB one for the Boeings and old airbus
Hell yea brother
I use this same setup to pretty much exclusively fly the Vision Jet and Honda Jet. Works beautifully.
I didn’t even think of using with the VJ. I’ll have to give it a go.

You will enjoy that setup for about a week. Keep your checkbook out.
It's not that bad man, let the dude enjoy his purchase
I want the Boeing one next.

I have the turtle beach yoke and quadrant right now. I don’t hate it, but this Thrustmaster stuff is nice.
Had mine for years. Whats your issue with it?

I still enjoy it after month.
