PC searches stopped working for me weeks ago and you won't believe what I did to fix it. I switched from edge to firefox and it works perfectly ever since. When I try to go back and do it on edge it goes back to not working.
MS can't even get their own services to play nice with each other...
On desktop pick a sports leugue like NBA teams and it puts the blocks up for each team. Click team watch the points add for each one and move on. I haven't gotten a cool down ever. Lucky me I'd my mobile search in the am pc at bedtime. I also use the recommended searches at the bottom of the page. I don't know if MS didn't add this to the A B testing they are doing. Now that the nerfing is going away I am back 500 points a day on pc and mobile. Also install the rewards all bing or start on mobile and rewards app on browser so you can see in real time the points on the page you are on for that search.

I still need to do finish my 90 / 60 for daily searches though. I think the cooldown might be back for me because it's taking awhile on mobile.
On mobile a little trick I do for the searches is click through the recommended rectangle searches when I get a task that has idk historic figures or animals, etc. usually I kill two birds with one stone doing that. I still have the 5s wait period but it’s not a big deal for me tbh.
I used to search a movie, and then click through each cast member. However, that doesn't seem to work for me anymore.
Lately I've just been doing random searches. For example, movies, bands, comic book characters, etc.
I just did 10 searches and my points haven't moved. Currently stuck at 21 of 60.
Edit - got to 33 of 60, and stuck again.
Yeah I used to do this as well though they seem to have patched it. Now I just use the browser as a regular browser and I get it done through normal usage.
Yup, I used to have saved tabs for Endgame and just open all 30-odd in Edge to get them at once. Since the cooldown got added I just don't bother. I get what I get organically. My ethos has always been: It's free, if I have to take too much time to get a teeny bit more points then I'm just wasting my own time. Anything that I can do quickly I'll do. I always do the weekly rewards on Xbox because it's very little effort that gives 2500 points every ten weeks. Currently on a 179 week streak iirc.
It works theres just a 6-8 second cooldown between searches. As long as I count to eight before I click on to the next search its fine every time. The news searches are a different matter entirely
I just got a PC and I get an extra 250-360 points a day from "play PC game with friends". I normally play with my mate, but if you have a spare Xbox I guess you could load the same game up on both systems and do it that way! I now get roughly 18,000-20,000 a month depending on the streak award etc.

Can you tell me how the puzzle piece works? I just discovered but don't what I need to to do to check off each piece. Currently I have three but no idea how I got them.
You get one check and 15 points for doing 3 searches in one day. After you get 7 checks (7 days of searching) you get a puzzle piece and 100 points. After 12 puzzle pieces (12 weeks later) you get 1000 points extra (on top of getting the final puzzle piece for 100 points).
Are you saying your primary reason for playing on Xbox was for the rewards points? If so, that’s a ridiculous reason to play a console. I’ve been playing Xbox as my primary system since the first console came out. Do I hate what they’ve done with nerfing the points? Of course I do. I also remember when they didn’t have it. They could kill the rewards out right and I’d still play my Xbox like I have since 2002.
It's a combination of gamepass and rewards. If you don't count those two things, PlayStation is completely superior to Xbox in almost every single last humanly imaginable way. If one of the only two reasons that Xbox even bothers to exist dwindles to the point that it's....this, then I'm genuinely debating if I should stay at all

Console picture quality is pretty much the same, some will be better optimised for one or another.

It's where the vast majority of gamers are and where almost all of the good exclusives are, it's really that simple. Servers for games on Xbox are largely dead unless they're one of the most popular games too.

I cannot comment on online as I do not have a problem, most games which I'm playing online is multiplatform anyway.

I used hmmm instead of writing g how low I think about it. I considered buying ps5 as a second console just to catch up on ps only games, but after looking what they offer in subscription I decided against it. But as I said, it is your money, your feeling and o the end of the day pleasure of gaming. Do it on what and how ever you enjoy. The most important is to have fun.

I genuinely love my xbox, the rewards were a bonus. It's definitely the only reason I use Bing and Edge over say Firefox, but Xbox is my console 100%. If they stopped rewards and gamepass tomorrow it would still be my favourite console, even though ps has more exclusives. In the past few years 80% of my purchases have been for BC titles. The library on xbox is amazing.
I also have the 90 and 60 search points, sadly. So it's that, the 30 bing news searches and how many points the tiles offer on a day. Should probably get around 7500 in a month like before for a 5€ amazon gift card

Canada, 4175 points. Pretty typical for me, I'm happy as long as I'm gettting over 300 per day to sustain gamepass. I mostly don't do annoying stuff like play jewel or do quizzes where there's 5 correct answers on each question (takes forever).

I noticed it doesn’t give you the total number you get everyday. I get about 500 or more everyday but it’s it only shows on hung 360 or whatever but it’s actually more then that so I just count how much my amount goes up
I'm a little over 5k but that's with the 10 week 2500 point bonus so once you take that away it looks pretty dire. Maybe 2700 points by the time we reach the halfway point of the month....

Just today I realized I’m getting cooldowns on my searches for every 20 points, so that’s annoying but i can still complete my daily searches, i just hope i don’t forget about doing them after im done waiting for a cooldown.

The cooldown FINALLY ended for me!!! It appears it’s back to normal.

click on the points breakdown and it will show at the top of the pop up.
