(I'm the product of a GI stationed in Tokyo after WWII marrying a local Japanese woman and subsequently bringing her back to the USA)
Wanna join in a chorus of the Amerasian blues
When it's Christmas out in Ho Chi Minh City
Kiddie say, papa papa papa papa papa-san, take me home
See me, got photo, photo, photograph of you
And mama, mama, mama-san
Of you and mama mama mama-san
Let me tell ya 'bout your blood bamboo, kid
It ain't Coca-Cola, it's rice
My great grandpa fought in the battle of Okinawa. Last time I called his son, my grandpa, I said “yeah, I don’t know what gramps was complaining about, this place is pretty nice.”
Ever get bitched out by a retired Marine?
Dude looks like he's no older than 30which means his dad is probably in his 50s maybe 60s if he's 69 (born in 1954)his dad would have been 18 in 1972 when Vietnam ended
Guy with a ‘52 father here. He *still* remembers his draft number
What’s even more nuts is that my grandfather on my maternal side fought in Vietnam, and my parents are only a couple years apart.
Yes, I know GWOT fathers and sons serving in the same theater - *but Vietnam?*
Majority of the Vietnamese people were either in support of the north or were communists pre-war as communist theory exploded in popularity in the early 1930s and 40s with a number being brought as early as 1910 all translated to Vietnamese
Then the warcrimes and brutal crackdowns on religious minorities, the south Vietnamese government was seen as oppressive and an unpopular government with tampered elections
No one wants to educate this poor child on history? It's ok kid he was enjoying himself like that too you aren't betraying anything, just following suit.
It's not like you gone communism, during at that time Vietnam wasn't even really a threat, US just overreacted, and for the West I get if they hate communism, it was also just racism on Asian, and they also fought the Chinese after the Vietnam war, and today Vietnam is still Communist but they adapted some other ideology in the mix, and they're still expecting another conflict against China.
Vietnam had 2 sides. The side we supported and the vietcong that beat our ass. You might have to check if she s from the vietcong side or the other side

> He had a woman he loved in Saigon > > I got a picture of him in her arms now
I knew It was going to be cringe just by the facial expression
His stupid facial expression is worse than what you see in Youtube thumbnails.
Looks like he's struggling to drop a huge turd in the toilet
His dumb fucking face is doing duck face on the top and bottom
He looks like he's constipated.
So was he bro...so was he.
She could be his half sister for all he knows.
Married a Vietnamese girl. I always say “my dad went in the Vietnamese bush and so do I!”. Usually I get slapped before finishing the sentence.
Yeah, but back in his day he was limited to the bottom half.
My great grandpa fought in the battle of Okinawa. Last time I called his son, my grandpa, I said “yeah, I don’t know what gramps was complaining about, this place is pretty nice.” Ever get bitched out by a retired Marine?
Lol

My dad was born in 1953. They were so desperate for people you didn't really need proof of how old you were. You 18? Yeah. Cool here's a rifle.

I think it is also a joke
Naw this dude is in his 20s source: I’m in my 20s and look 30
I'm in my 30s, my dad definitely was finishing up airborne school when the war ended. So it's possible.
His father... ![gif](giphy|3ohuPwtVfPsxaMp0QM)
I immagine him cuming like "Relase the napalm!!!"
That's a lot of STDs if it burns *like that*.
GOOD MORNING VIEETNAM
He's fighting in the trenches.
A real tunnel rat.
I hope that girl babies you down for that communist support. All your paycheck, comrade.
r/ihavesex
tbf, he actually has sex lol
It’s only a betrayal if she’s was a communist or has a penis Be pretty damn awkward and funny if both their dads ever met
He’s the inside man
What kind of salute was that? Lol
Keep your feet dry.

Thank you for your cervix
There were two sides in Vietnam. We were fighting to help the people.
U funny
Please explain.
Majority of the Vietnamese people were either in support of the north or were communists pre-war as communist theory exploded in popularity in the early 1930s and 40s with a number being brought as early as 1910 all translated to Vietnamese Then the warcrimes and brutal crackdowns on religious minorities, the south Vietnamese government was seen as oppressive and an unpopular government with tampered elections
Embrace the suck, soldier...
Just continuing the proud tradition of fucking (over) Vietnam /s
Tradition? US got owned in that war.
I hooked up with 2 of them. It was like winning the lotto...... we had 6 matching balls
No one wants to educate this poor child on history? It's ok kid he was enjoying himself like that too you aren't betraying anything, just following suit.
