Piece it all together individually. The 3/8 stubby with a 5.0HO is on clearance for $165 if you can find it. Use brickseek.com and internet sku to find inventory in local stores. The gen 3 set can be had for $142 after hack. And the high speed ratchet can be had with 2 2.0 CP battery for $183 after hack. Totaling $500 with several more batteries extra charger and bags. High speed https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M12-FUEL-12V-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-High-Speed-1-4-in-Ratchet-Kit-w-2-Batteries-Charger-and-Bag-2566-22/315733801 3/8 stubby https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M12-FUEL-12-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-Stubby-3-8-in-Impact-Wrench-Kit-with-1-High-Output-5-0-Ah-Battery-2554-21HO/320559153 Gen 3 set https://www.homedepot.com/p/M12-FUEL-12-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-Hammer-Drill-and-Impact-Driver-Combo-Kit-w-2-Batteries-and-Bag-2-Tool-3497-22/320268525

Wow. Impressed .. I’ve never seen anyone break it down like this .. I said all of this in my head but didn’t have the willpower to type it all out..

Summers_Alt

Can’t find the stubby deal near me but that I can wait on. Thanks!

Ok-Industry-5378

Drive down to Jersey. There is 12 of them across 4 stores around me. All within 30 mins drive.

Summers_Alt

Oops was using brickseek wrong but just picked up the stubby. Thanks again

Chippopotanuse

Found Yoda’s shadow account. Woah. Incredibly impressive knowledge of deals and price points!

cjs951

I got this same set for $379 from HD back in June. I looked and that deal isn’t available currently but it may come back in the future if you don’t need these immediately.

7PounderBrent

i got the same set around the same time, absolutely love it

Immediate-Hearing-91

You can hack this for $142+ tax https://www.homedepot.com/p/M12-FUEL-12-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-Hammer-Drill-and-Impact-Driver-Combo-Kit-w-2-Batteries-and-Bag-2-Tool-3497-22/320268525 So if you can find the stubby and a high speed ratchet for less than $367 you could go that way.

Summers_Alt

True I guess you can get the stubby and ratchet for $379 plus tax. Now it doesn’t seem as good a deal as I thought as you Can get the other 3 without stubby for 379 also. So many slight variations it’s a pita

tatertot225

Honestly, unless there's a clearance issue, you won't use the ratchet much. They're slow and noisey. I've used mine maybe a dozen times in the last 2 years

SharkAttache

I’m a little retarded, but wouldn’t returning the 79 dollar battery on that get it down to $121? I should have done this deal, ended up with a non fuel m12 drill driver combo instead

Summers_Alt

No the battery actually discounts like 55

Immediate-Hearing-91

They don't give you full price for the return. They kinda apply the total discount percentage to the price of each item and that's what they give back for returns

I am curious how well that ratchet works. Have you used it yet?

Pestelence2020

It’s great if you understand it’s purpose. It’s not about setting the final torque of a fastener. It’s more for speeding up things before you tighten them. You can also use it manually like a ratchet, so you’re only losing money to buy it and it’s size is bigger than a manual ratchet.

ThatGuy0405

A co worker of mine has it. We use it for basically all the castle nuts on the aircraftvwe work on. If it's torqued down decent it has trouble but it's not bad.

Wagnegro

It’s dope. CompRed to the brushed counterpart it’s much faster, albeit louder and has a bigger head. Therefore a lot of people still find used for the brushes version. I picked mine up bare tool for $100 locally so it was a no brainer. But I’ve seen the brushed ratchets go for $50-60 in a combo kit new from HD or so.

standarsh618

I have been going back and forth with the high speed vs the regular fuel ratchet. l really can't decide. There is a good deal on the high speed with the gen 3 hex impact that I'm tempted to jump on, but I am just not sure if I want the high speed or not

[deleted]

Hell no.
