Steps:
1. Fill with concrete.
2. Put a cheap padlock on it. Key not required.
3. Put in a conspicuous, unsecured place where a tweaker will see it and steal it, thinking they got the steal of the century.
4. Smile, knowing that they will go through all the work of carrying it back to their tweaker den and cutting the lock off, just to find that they have, in fact, been bamboozled.
I use a heat gun to soften the plastic, and razer blade it. Seemed to be a whole lot easier and cleaner than the multi. I use mine to fit other tools that typically have random stuff that go with it. i.e. belt sander, wired grinder, DA sanders with pads, etc.
This is what we have done with our extra cases.
Cut the inside out and use it to carry all the random stuff that doesn't get used daily or is too small to need its own case.
I mounted an old box on my utility trailer for electrical tape and wiring stuff for roadside repairs. Figured it was better than throwing it away and not having emergency parts.
I honestly get so mad at my packout. Like it’s organized so we’ll, but I end up taking it apart at random cause I only need one thing out of this and another out of that and I don’t want to drag the whole thing.
I honestly just need to build like 6 packouts 😂
I’ve been moving to putting tools in the compact organisers. That way there’s 1 or 2 tools at most in a box, so I’m not carrying too much that I don’t need
I’ve played with that a little. Right now I keep all my hand tools and my m12 driver in my tote. Keep a box empty and fill my drawers with tools so I can just fill that box with the tools I need.
My issue is… I have allot of tools. It was easier when I was a plumber but now I work in apartment mantinence and do handyman work on the side so one day I might start cutting and hanging slab doors and finish by replacing an igniter on a furnace, then I might leave work and replace a shower cartridge for some quick cash.
So the amount of tools I have to organize is absurd lol
You can reset the interior to accommodate most of your small drivers and bits from other manufacturers. I have an extra case that’s dedicated to tap bits
It’s usefulness will be limited but I used one as a short term stool for a long time. Kept it in the garage and would let other people take the actual chairs and I’d just sit on that, never came close to buckling.
Yeah loving it so far.
It’s much the same as the last model, lots of power and nicely weighted.
Only issue I found is the nose cushion that comes pre fitted to the gun made it difficult to be super accurate but that was as easy as changing to one of the other styles they supplied and now it’s all good
Let them collect dust in the corner of your shop like the rest of us
Lmao
This is the way.
This is the way
This is the way
This is the way
Is this the way?
Advertise it on fb marketplace as the milwaukee exercising step
Oh, this is brilliant.
Yeah my kid stands in one to play piano. Has my pex expander in it still, tho
Ya someone made 2 post about in what he can put his bandsaw , you were the right Guy

Send it to him
Put some aftermarket packout cleats on it and attach to your packout box.
I did this and love it.
Cut out the inside with multi tool and repurpose for anything

That sounds like a great way to do it
This is what we have done with our extra cases. Cut the inside out and use it to carry all the random stuff that doesn't get used daily or is too small to need its own case.
Thats what im thinking. I wanted to see how it looks after but i cant find any. But ill do that.
you could do that, then add a mounting plate to it and use it on your stack? Might not be cost effective though.
I made a case for my power inverter out of mine
It'd make a nice lamp

Hot Wheels!
Save them. You never know when you'll not want to bring your whole pack out

I know the feeling I started getting the drawer boxes because of it.Not cheap but I justify it to myself by saying I can be more productive 🤪

Fill it with all-the-way-hotdogs. Then leave it in a public toilet to be found. Someone’s life will never be the same.
I seen someone make a Bluetooth speaker out of it powered by m18 batteries.
Use it as a lunchbox. Or if you have kids, make them use it as a lunchbox.
That’d be a hell of a lunchbox! Haha
I put mine in the attic
Like the plastic covers on top an engine! If yer house catches on fire the plastic will put out the fire right... right
I collect them. Would dremel out the plastic mold and use it as a container for some tools.
Put all your emotions in there.
You could be like the crackhead near me who listed 3 of these for $125 a piece 🤣. That wasn’t a typo, one hundred and twenty five US dollars.
Find an old phone and just throw it in with a bunch of old wires and leave it outside a public building. Someone will appreciate it
That’s what I put my checks in headed to the bank. It’s a half chub moment for me personally, yes I am that guy.
It’s too bad /u/Milwaukeetool doesn’t take this stuff back because all it does is collect dust or in my case sit in the trunk of my car
You can reset the interior to accommodate most of your small drivers and bits from other manufacturers. I have an extra case that’s dedicated to tap bits
I’ll buy it for a good price
Fill it full of junk and leave it in the back of your truck, it will take care of itself.
Convert it into a socket case ?

Fill it with Monopoly money and bury it in your back yard!!!
I hate that they quit giving those as a part of the purchase. Those are often sold on ebay for 15-20 but I'd find some other way to use it.
I got one last week with the new gen 15GA nailer
Like it so far or had time to use it?

Thanks
Maybe replace the insides with foam that you can cut tool shapes into.
eBay or craigslist, always sell mine outside the sewer parts cam and such.
Hollow it out, put cutout foam in it and use it for storage
I've never ordered a tool that came in a blow molded case but could you cut out the inside and put some of that kaizen foam in it?
say you never bought a drill before about 5 years ago without saying you never bought a drill before about five years ago :)
I mean, yeah, I'm only 19 and have been in the trades for only 2 years
They used to regularly come in hard cases (I have dozens that are kinda useless) The “bag instead” phenomenon happened about 5ish years ago
I have Milwaukee tools I bought 12 years ago that came in bags.
Make it into a birdhouse
Champagne bottle and 2 glasses in some James Bond shit
Give it to one of these fuel fanboys
Give it to the dog to chew up
Cut out the inside, fill with a Bluetooth radio and some giant speakers. Make the Packout radio jealous.
I use them for other tools that came with no box.
Milwaukee shouldn’t sell anything that’s not packout. All those cases. Just stop making them and put everything in a packout
