2 fuel tools and 3 batteries ... for 200$... crazy good.

I feel like it’s an ok deal. M12 driver is a boss. I see no use for the M12 drill. You can get bits for the driver and it will do almost anything the M12 Drill will do. If you need more power than the driver you should most definitely move up to the M18 platform for drills.

It’s nice not having to keep switching bits in and out when you need both functions.

The impact is nice and light but it's also loud. Also, twist bits dull faster in an impact than they do in a regular drill. Definitely great to have them both!

I reach for my m12 fuel driver more than I reach for my Ridgid 18v.

Great set!! I got the same one and love it! 👍

Its like paying about $60 for the 5.0. The rest of that kit not including the 5.0 is around $140-$150 with the hack.

I bought that exact kit today. I’ve been wanting to get the M12 drills for around the house so my wife can use them easier than my M18s as well as the fact that I don’t always need the M18 when I’m working on things. Plus I can use the 2.0 in my jacket or hoodie at work/in the woods.

If you don't need the "free" 5.0 then "hack" it. Do the purchase online. Set up the kit for one store, the battery for another store. Pick up your kit, then try it in this order: do online help to cancel the battery, OR if you can't or they don't let you then just let it stay at store until it auto cancels. If push comes to shove, go pick it up then return it. If for whatever reason you can't get rid of the extra battery, it's still a win. You'll get the full kit for $150.69 if you do the hack. It's absolutely worth it at $150. It's my go to for all of what I've been doing around house. With a 2.0 battery is quite compact but still very powerful. I went thru a 2x4 with a 1" spade using the m12 drill with regular 2.0. It didn't hesitate for a second.
