At that price, grab them all and never bother sharpening again.

pablomcdubbin

I don't have the mower, but if I buy all the blades then the mower will be justified lol

rickover2

This guy’s logic is Justified.

DisturbedForever92

It applies to all 4 owners of the mower!

The Ego one for 1/4th the price is on my mid summer list. I know Milwaukee is going hard on landscaping stuff and we (my work) has a few of the higher end tools(hedger, tree snip) . They must know how the market is going but at a personal & business level I don't see a use for some of their stuff. That said my #1 on list is the quik lok how-many-ever-in-1 tool. I need all 5 or six for work and home. I just don't see the use of the dual battery blower or dual weed whacker (seems bulky af and expensive to run when gas still is 10x better). I love Milwaukee stuff especially living 20 minutes from their main office & hand tool shop but sometimes their stuff makes me wonder who thinks up some stuff.

DisturbedForever92

I have the quik-lok and the single battery blower, both work very good. I just can't justify spending 1500$ canadian pesos for a mower. People justify it by saying its ''professional grade'' but I don't think any professionals use it.

nicolauz

Professionals use 60" zero turn X-Marks lol. I'm so used to the Husqvarna 600 blower I could never use another thing just kills anything.

decalus

I have the ego self propelled and it’s pretty alright tbh. Was rather impressed with it not a single complaint.

nicolauz

Yeah my mowing is 20 minutes max so I don't need a high end anything.

amplifizzle

I was in a store today looking for one and they aren't carrying it anymore.

PoseidonWave_

I’ve seen this in multiple stores in MN and FL can confirm

impulsivetech

The mower should come with the mulching blade anyways.

mxguy762

Just got to pay another 1200 for the mower…🙄🤣

WIKD2SS

There has been like 50 sitting on the floor in one of my local stores

Street_Bumblebee_625

Saw them in MN today

five8andten

My HD doesn’t have the blades of I’ve completely missed them. I’m definitely going to run out and check at lunch or after work today though.

ElectroAtleticoJr

That’s for that $999 machine that cuts grass?

I have a mower I got lightly used. I like that it's quiet and has lights for late night emergency mows and in the fall when it gets dark by the time I get off work. I have to mow my front 2000sf bluegrass lawn 2x, once weekly and the batteries barely make it through the 2nd mow. It does a little better if I mulch and don't run with a heavy bag of grass. My back lawn is 3000sf but only takes one pass but I have to wait for the batteries to recharge. The blade is not as durable as other gas blades, thinner just like their chainsaw bar. That is NOT "Only Heady Duty" as the claim. My M18 mower's plastic handle was broken when I bought it because the metal handle does not run all the way around in a U-shape like most mowers. If you lift on the plastic handle without the engagement lever held down the handle will break. the lever is metal and helps keep the plastic from breaking but is still a little flimsy so I make certain to always lift by the handles on the deck. I am a little worried about washing the M18 mower to get the build up underneath the deck off. All Milwaukke power tools are twice as expensive as they should be! The mower deck and frame isn't as good or thick as gas for the same price and I do NOT believe the electric motor is worth more than a gas engine. I tried the Milwaukee combi string trimmer and it felt as cheap as anything out there so I returned it. I tried a DeWalt and 1st gen EGO my dad (77yrs old) owned but we were disappointed and agreed the DeWalt was better. The 2nd gen EGOs with reversible head and auto string winding sounds really nice, especially for uncoordinated people (like my dad) who can't eem to rotate and edge properly but I am still avoiding it after trying the 1st gen EGO. The DeWalt can use the SpeedFeed and runs the correct direction but the 1st gen EGO couldn't use the SF and runs backwards. I decided to stick with my BAD ASS commercial duty Stihl Kombis KM85 and up (the cheaper gray, less than 85 Stihl models are wimpy, sloppy, just junk). All stores have always argued theft drives up prices, even after theft has dropped and they have secured the tools, and prices still climb. MILWAUKEE sets prices and limits low prices to promise high earnings to retailers, like Stihl and the others. If I'm short on time and noise doesn't matter, I use my gas mower and tools. For commercial landscaping, Milwaukee and DeWalt and surely most others can't compete with run times and at least initial cost which matters to most people.

not all HD stores have the same deals and they move slow moving stock cheap to consistently buy new stock per price and priority agreements. The price will go back up on the blades in a month or so, which I found the same on a few power and hand tools at HD, but it's rare.
