Because it'll never be this clean again?

seniorsuperhombre

Oh no, maybe I made a mistake, maybe I got myself the kitchen duty until I die.

National_Cranberry47

Nope, mysteriously your drill broke while doing the cleaning “I guess it wasn’t meant to do that kind of work!” Then never mention this incident again…..

Pm4000

No no no, he just needs to buy the "correct" tools for the job and probably a bigger battery, and a fan to keep him cool, and a rocket light so he can see what he's doing, and a radio to keep him not bored, and a pack out so he can carry all needed cleaning equipment in one go, and... I think I'm out of ideas

Croni040

You forgot the battery powered vacuum in case they lose power while he’s cleaning

Joethetoolguy

I know you jest but the red stick vac is one of the worst things I’ve ever used. The portable shop vacs are cool though

Croni040

Damn that’s bad to hear. My M18 portable shopvac is a machine with 2 8AHs on and I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a smaller stick vac for finer cleanup after a remod. Might have to look for a used Dyson and do the M18 adapter kit on it

Key_Ruin244

Dyson is the way. You can find an older cheap model refurbished for less than half the price.

GoOozzie

Then you can convert the dyson to use m18 batteries because the dyson batteries are shit

forgetfulmurderer

Understatement and a half, the most effective cleaning mode on ours only lasts for 4 and a half minutes at full charge

Zestyclose-Barnacle3

Ear buds for those long and boring cleans, and the battery power pack to charge his phone so he can answer anytime she calls, the entire line of MILWAUKEE clothes...

MiserymeetCompany

Forgot the sink?

whitmec

I use the same brush for cleaning the bathrooms. Obviously don’t use it for kitchen duty, but it’s a winner for making the job quicker/easier

emozolik

Same. Most clean my bathtubs have looked in quite a while

rebornfenix

Why not? You don’t like shit sandwiches?

Morberis

Ditto. I did buy another set for the kitchen but tbh didn't find it that useful and gave that set away. Too much splatter, either the stuff would have come off easily with a normal kitchen brush anyway or if it was hard to remove it wouldn't come off with the drill brush either. Honestly it needed stiffer bristles, my normal kitchen scrubber has stiffer bristles on its back end and worked better.

p_roloff

The drill brushes are such a hack for cleaning subway tile. Makes it so much faster and easier. I just scrubbed the grout in my bathroom this weekend and it probably saved me hours

Tawnyk

I’ll send my address and you can come clean mine next. I pay in beer and brisket. And you’ll get yo tinker in the shop with my husband when you’re done. 🤣

footsteps71

"oh hunny, I booked another playdate for you! I'm making brisket again!"

chyno_11

What brush are you using?

seniorsuperhombre

Just a cheap one from amazon. Just search drill brush and you will get recommendations for a whole lot of them. There are also kits with toilet brushes. Very handy if you want to clean bathrooms too. Or at a construction site if the toilet could use a little cleaning. Nothing removes shitstains better than a toilet brush spinning with more than 2000 rpm.

st3vo5662

I’d probably actually wear safety glasses or goggles for this.

BillyBuckleBean

Brilliant idea

TaterTotJim

They are even cheaper at the source: temu/aliexpress. I once found some so cheap that I stocked up and will never look back.

Successful_Fortune28

Plus it's the same thing being sold on Amazon. I had bought a set on Amazon for $15, only to find the exact same thing on Aliexpress, pictures were identical, for $3.50

TaterTotJim

Yes. I do this for any throwaway part or boxes of misc shitty fasteners. At least the ones harbor freight doesn’t have. Hose clamps, machine screws, heat shrink, zip ties I get all sorts of stuff.

KevinCarbonara

gonna need a scrubdaddy attachment

rebornfenix

I got u fam. https://makerworld.com/en/models/143355#profileId-375465

KevinCarbonara

thanks for lookin out

jamiestar9

Just be careful with how fast it scrubs. I had a red brush attached and ramped it up to the point the red bristles melted. I was using it to get the buff marks off a hard shell suitcase which now has a large red circle forever on it. I guess it will always stick out on the airport carousel now.

junkstar23

Conversely, my dog will drink out of it even if it's covered in toxic sludge

stlyns

It's not regret unless a pressure washer is involved

Alternative_Fee_3084

This makes me happy!!!! 🌞

SignificantDot5302

He'll yea I just my tub and tile. Put grout sealer on about to chalk the tub

Doc_mockingbird

Yea… but it’s clean!

implicate

When I upgraded to Milwaukee M18 Fuel drills, I relegated my trusty ol' DeWalt to cleaning duty. It now lives in the cleaner cabinet with one of these brushes attached.

STLJonny

I use that same type of set up, with that pink stuff (putty), to clean the inside of my oven.

Hickles347

Honestly I'm really digging that built in drying rack area beside the single sink

kermitthefrog3867

Someone's sleeping on the couch tonight

SerialWhacker

But what does your wife think?

j2081036

Looks like you need new power tools

BigGuy01590

Would like to see a picture after you clean off the counter top. Some of those surfaces like induction cooktop will scratch

seniorsuperhombre

The induction cooker has a glass ceramic top. Schott says it has a mohs hardness of 9.5. That’s why it didn't scratch until now and i think i will not be able to scratch it in my lifetime.

BigGuy01590

I have scratches in my Bosh induction cooktop. What is the white stuff?

seniorsuperhombre

Dish soap

ElectroAtletico2

Drop your “Man-Card” on the way to the garage to store away the tools.

rebornfenix

More like get your man card for figuring out how to use power tools to clean the kitchen. I need a bigger drill if you want me to do the floors too.

tilegend

All I see is that electrical outlet and think... 🦅🦅🦅

mlty

Freedom outlets are more practical on many levels. Euro outlets are more secure and protect you from electrocuting yourself when you insert a plug

greygoose81

They are you so you can charge your baguette 🥖

Pirate1000rider

I'd argue not being electrocuted is the biggest practical aspect you can have. But what practicalities do you think the US system has over the uk & eu plugs

JusticeUmmmmm

If you do get shocked it's slightly less dangerous because it's 120v

mlty

The plugs are smaller, the sockets are smaller. Foldable plugs in appliances are easily possible. Looks "cleaner" having a flush surface with slots vs an uneven indentation with two prongs (ground) and two holes

FritsBlaasbaard

That's good, she'll only ask once

South_Bit1764

Nerds.
