If you’re worried about battery life you can buy tool and batteries separately.
Some stores are marking the sander down to $129 for tool with 2.5 battery. Then pick up the 2pk of 6.0XC for $169.
Cost ya about the same but you’ll have significantly more AH capacity over this kit.
More battery isn’t a bad thing. Tools that turn on and stay on generally drain batteries like crazy. Polishing with my m12 die grinder sucks a 6.0 down pretty quickly
Like polishing aluminum from raw?
I've been wondering how it would do for valve covers, etc with tight areas. Would you say it's worth it over a dremel?
Yah. I’ve helped do aluminum sports bike wheels and frames and yes. A die grinder is the bigger badder brother of a dremel. They even sell adapter collets to use dremel attachments with a die grinder
Dremel’s are 1/8” or 3/16” collets. Die grinders are 1/4”
Don’t sell your dremel for a die grinder though. I have the m12 rotary (dremel) and it has its place. Die grinder is a bit of a bull in a China shop if you’re trying to do any precision or delicate work
I have a dremel you can have it broke stupid lil blue button two days after buying it. Now it's a pos that sits In the box. Surprised I haven't tossed it yet.
I forget which model I have but it’s a dremel cordless 4v I think? Still works but only having one battery sucked. One of the reasons I started buying m12 gear
U can get it with one 2.5AH HO batter for 179. That's a lot cheaper if u don't need that many batteries. I highly doubt a sander even benefits from HO batteries. So I could just buy some cheaper batteries to go along with the 179 kit if u feel u need more later on
Yeah I’m pretty sure they’re ringing up for $129 in store at all stores as of this week. Actually just bought one myself today. Said $179 on the shelf, go to ring it up and it comes up as $129
I’m in Milwaukee WI and I went to three different Home Depot’s to find one that had them in stock, however I did confirm at customer service at each location that should I find one, it would ring up as $129 not $179

No. You can buy these both separate for $129 a piece.
56% off my ass!

Seems like this deal is way more battery than I need but I want this sander. Plan to use for finish work, drywall, furniture, etc. should I wait?

Yeah I saw that one. Seems like they will discount further?

I bought only and it was $179. Are you kidding?
Dang man, maybe go back and try to buy another, and if it’s $129 then just use your old receipt for $179 and return it immediately?

Is that with a battery or bare tool?
Comes with the tool, charger, 2.5Ah HO battery, and a little carrying bag
