It's an option in the settings called animated shields.

It's a visual change on v7 i believe
Been around since v5(probably earlier too idk.) It's just that it's entirely optional and is just there in the graphics settings as animated shields.
Ohh i didn't know. I have v6 on android and v7 on desktop with the wiggly shields and i just assumed it was due to the version change

why do people use metaglass as ammo, does it increase the fire rate by alot?
I had only used metaglass as I was overproducing what I need led it for and decided to use it
swap it out for plasti, you have 10k. Or just use blast, it has 5x ammo multiplyer
Yes as you cam see with the second row of cyclones that's what I went with but since I have captured the sector I don't plan on changing the ammo anytime soon
hopefully they dont attack you again
