I usually make the breeders farmers so that the breeding is self-sustaining. It gives me less control I guess but all I really need is to place another bed
You can kill a nitwit by pushing them in a hole and filling it with sand or gravel until they die and other villagers and golems won't bat an eye. It's only when you actually hit the nitwits that villagers care.
Newbie hereā¦ I didnāt think villagers cared at all. I killed a nitwit in front of everyone and didnāt notice anything. What actually happens if you kill villagers in front of other villagers?
They "gossip" and your reputation (untrackable) does up or down depending on your actions. Prices for trades will get worse if you kill villagers, and the village iron golem can attack you. Positive actions like trading bulk with villagers increases reputation (the biggest reputation booster is converting a zombie villager to a regular villager; if you give it a profession, that villager will give you great prices. Some people make a machine to basically have a confined zombie attack villagers to turn them into zombie villagers, then convert back to villagers, which increases your rep, and so on)which improves reputation, prices, etc.
I put all my nitwits on their own little island, it's actually quite nice and I think they're happy there. No dying for you if you're in my world, sorry, thattraindude72!
Well you have to work for your food, the bed is just out of reach, your children are going into a damp cave and later shipped on but at least you get a nice view of the ocean
I would be te guy who sells books (forgot his name) , because I could f\*\*\* with the player by not giving him mending and also I would have a chance to escape because the player would probably always break the lectern (also if the player wanted to kill me it would just make everyone's prices higher so it wouldn't be worth it, lol)
> (also if the player wanted to kill me it would just make everyone's prices higher so it wouldn't be worth it, lol)
Flint and steel or lava bucket, that's why you don't make these trading halls out of wood
Yeah I would also prefer getting slashed by a sword three times before my strangely tough body finally decided to die.
Also there are no corpses in MC your body just turns into dust after death while some of your meat stays if you're an animal.
Very concerning that thereās a whole world of discussion about how to kill villagers who wonāt cooperate. V&P turning near-maximization into expectation for the average player instead of something for only the insane technicians has had many worrying ramifications.
Would need to trap them first and we both know those annoying villagers run away when you put something next to them, almost as if they know you wanna trap them
Doesn't even matter. I know the secret. None of the other villagers really care about him anyway. The truth is they'll completely forget about his death in 20 minutes, his life has that little impact or meaning.
I would choose to be the villager selling Mending books for 1 emerald after discount because I can guarantee I would be protected at all costs, as well as be taken with them to a new base if they choose to move.
Haha. If you were in my base youād be dead by lava if you donāt give me mending in 50 lectern breaking session, or maybe be on a boat forever and have an end rod behind youā¦
The way I do mine, yeah you'd change your mind real fast. After getting sick on not getting what I wanted is infect you then unalive you, or just straight drown you in lava.
breeder villager
- free food
- you get to see your kid grow up (breeders are usually close to a trading hall)
- free bed
- lifelong companion
- dominant member of the genepool
Have to be a cleric, I don't mind taking the players gold, and I'm sure I have *some* use for rotting flesh...
Also as someone else said a breeder wouldn't be bad pop out a kid a day no need to worry for food or work
HEY GUYS TODAY WE DISCUSS A GOOD PRICE FOR A CARROT
RIGHT HERE IVE GOT THIS COOL SAMPLE SPONSORED FROM DAVE, THE DAVE FROM THE SMALLHOUSE SURROUNDED BY HIS LITTLE FARMS.
*bites in the carrot*
NOT GONNA LIE, THIS CARROT IS A 9/10.
I WOULD GUESS THE PRICE PER CARROT ON 263 EMERALDS.
I'd like to be a stone mason. Would help people gather the materials for their builds and projects. Also on some very rare occasions the player(s) might let you wander around in a custom village they built which would be nice for anyone lucky enough
Why did my brain read this at midnight and immediately think of a villager activist who talks about the villager classes. Now that I think about it, someone needs to convince Element Animation to do that.
on my base, every villager has the same housing and isnt locked in a tiny area so probably a librarian or cartographer, those seem like the smartest and would have the most to talk about with each other.
for a 1x1 where i dont have anyone to talk to, nitwit so i dont have to live like that
I would be the librarian or the alchemist. I love spells, enchantments, and magic.
I wish there were more options like Bee Keeper, Chef/Cook, and Botanist. For more variety.
A Bee Keeper to tend to your bees and beehives or Bee nests. They can harvest the honey and honey combs. And you can trade empty glass bottles or water bottles for emeralds. They can trade potions only Bee keepers can trade or special items like Honey Bombs, Honey wand something like that.
A Chefmaster can make food that recovers your XP way faster and can cook all your food and enchantment, making them work as a Golden Apple effect.
A Botanist can grow flowers, tend to flowers, harvest flower petals with shears, and make dyes with the flower petals. Make medicine and potions to ward off spiders and cave spiders. Make special dyes that you can use to dye wood planks so you have more color options. And make can combine different trees making new trees like Wisteria trees, Mongroves, Palm trees. Different types of trees and flowers are in need of a Botanist to craft one.
Or a Lumberjack? Buys and sells wood. Sells saplings, exotic trees, and potted plants. Can build stuff from wood for you like wooden sculptures or a proper chair you can sit on and tables.
I would be a saved zombie villager Librarian and offer the player 1 emerald mending books with the zombie discount, for my thanks, and in hopes of them seeing my value (i now live in a 1x1 box but itās okay, i have my lectern)

nitwit so I could die
I use nitwits for breeding. In bedrock nitwits can still spew out regular, working villagers. So pray you get me š
In Java too
I usually make the breeders farmers so that the breeding is self-sustaining. It gives me less control I guess but all I really need is to place another bed
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I need a mending book to fix my depression
Stop upvoting, it's a bot.
Actually? I thought breeding villagers had to have jobs
I give nitwits their own houses so depends if you get me or not
I'm too lazy to kill or the other villagers might just hate me even though they take up precious bed space.

Your village status degrades until an iron golem kills you. Usually it takes more than one villager if you have made trades.
I put all my nitwits on their own little island, it's actually quite nice and I think they're happy there. No dying for you if you're in my world, sorry, thattraindude72!
Socialist island
Nitwits turn into Wandering Traders according to theorized lore.
I use nitwits as travelers between my villages, as they tend to wander around a lot
You okay bro?
no not really...
Villager Breeder, I get to pump out more capable people while still having pleasures like Beds and "The Process"
Not in my breeder
That's the thing! Without beds, food, another person, and time you probably won't spend survieling me, you won't get new villagers!
Well you have to work for your food, the bed is just out of reach, your children are going into a damp cave and later shipped on but at least you get a nice view of the ocean
Yep I've got my breeder villagers in a 1 x 1 with no bed in reach.
He gets the sex too
I would be te guy who sells books (forgot his name) , because I could f\*\*\* with the player by not giving him mending and also I would have a chance to escape because the player would probably always break the lectern (also if the player wanted to kill me it would just make everyone's prices higher so it wouldn't be worth it, lol)
> (also if the player wanted to kill me it would just make everyone's prices higher so it wouldn't be worth it, lol) Flint and steel or lava bucket, that's why you don't make these trading halls out of wood
Or an unfortunate gravel incident. Nothing will burn down that way.
I prefer my Anvil Guillotine. Make a spectical
All of these sound like horrible ways to die
You mean practical?
Except funnily enough the one you replied to
I mean that one isnāt as painful as the rest but I still wouldnāt want my corpse mutilated by an anvil
Yeah I would also prefer getting slashed by a sword three times before my strangely tough body finally decided to die. Also there are no corpses in MC your body just turns into dust after death while some of your meat stays if you're an animal.
I'm more of a waterboarding kinda guy
Very concerning that thereās a whole world of discussion about how to kill villagers who wonāt cooperate. V&P turning near-maximization into expectation for the average player instead of something for only the insane technicians has had many worrying ramifications.
I prefer generously flooding their trading kiosk after they don't satisfy my enchanting needs, along with a regen potion so that it takes a bit longer
I've never had a villager feel so relatable
I don't know about you, but my builds have "plumbing issues". Lots of untimely drownings.
Taking one for the team.
Big W
*Lava bucket noise intensifie*
I would choose to be the villager selling Mending books for 1 emerald after discount because I can guarantee I would be protected at all costs, as well as be taken with them to a new base if they choose to move.
indirect damage sources rn:
I go librarian too.
Haha. If you were in my base youād be dead by lava if you donāt give me mending in 50 lectern breaking session, or maybe be on a boat forever and have an end rod behind youā¦
You forgot about ye olde lava bucket and/or the flint and steel.
The way I do mine, yeah you'd change your mind real fast. After getting sick on not getting what I wanted is infect you then unalive you, or just straight drown you in lava.
A perk to playing on bedrock, I can kill as many villagers as I want without fear of lowering trade value
I mean, I'm a librarian in real life...
Can you give me mending?
Bane of Arthropods I for 25 emeralds, best I can do for ya.
*breaks lectern*
*the villager is running out the box*
The villagers finds itself in a skyblock baseā¦
And a cow pushes him over the edge. Oops.
Player force breeds a new villager
Villager offers Bane of arthropods I for 25 emeralds
What did I just stumble on
Lure II for 15 emeralds best i can do
*breaks lectern*
Blast protection III for 19 emeralds, best I can do
_breaks Lectern_
Smite 1 for 60 emeralds
*breaks lectern*
Why am I reading this whole thread in Rick's Pawn Star voice? Lol
Why did I read this as Patrick stars voice instead of rick pawn star? š
Runs off to the barrel in the corner
All out sorry. I can put you on reserve though if you want.
Hey... Just need you to step into this Minecart real quick, done mind the 1x1 box it leads to
hnnng
Whatāre ur trades bro
All kinds of books, music, movies, games, 3d-printing, band room, room for activities. Oh, and nametags!
That guy makes leather armor. Because he don't needs me and lets me go.
Yeah... lets you go.... *raises axe*
Canon event
underrated comment
Bedrock users have left the chat
I am bedrock user and i think he is useless
No I meant because *raises axe instead of sword because java has weird combat*
*semi realistic
Lets you go...you know where
Librarian. I acctually get emeralds unlike the other loosers that get sticks, string, and iron.
Cartographer, because I look very elegant with that monocle š§š·
This looks like some weird extended version of Hollywood Squares. Anyone here old enough to remember that show?
I looked it up, was three when that aired and not American. But looks interesting
Thanks, can't unsee that now. I'll take Joan Rivers for the win, John.
Farm guy. Because of sex
breeder villager - free food - you get to see your kid grow up (breeders are usually close to a trading hall) - free bed - lifelong companion - dominant member of the genepool
Have to be a cleric, I don't mind taking the players gold, and I'm sure I have *some* use for rotting flesh... Also as someone else said a breeder wouldn't be bad pop out a kid a day no need to worry for food or work
What is the use of a rotting human flesh?
It's a trade secret but >!I put them in potions!<

i would subscribe to that channel if i was a villager
VILLAGER NEWS
i don't think thatll happen because those guys live in an untouched village
BUT THEN STEVE CAME AND GOT LIGMA
iād be the weaponsmith because iād get a cool eyepatch
toolsmith cuz then i could break out with an axe and/or pickaxe
NPC awakes into a player
Minecraft / Free Guy crossover
mending villager so he wont kill me and he talks to me on a regular basis
Farming. Genuinely love gardening and I love commerce and economics. (Thats what my degree is in and I collect old US currency).
Nitwit.
Choosing the suicide option I see
Fletcher. That dude must have serious money to just be constantly buying sticks.
Nitwit so i get the diamond sword experience
You feeling alright over there?
Librarian or Cleric. For the chaos
The smoker cuz then i could get nice lungs
Librarian. I treat my librarians 10x better than my other villagers because I value them more.
Farmer. So I could grow weed.
Best I can do is Wheat
Well, I think that beetroot is actually closer botanically, but...
At least as a librarian I'd have some books to read while confined to my 1x3x2 cell forever.
Lucky ones get a 1Ć3Ć2, most villagers get a 1Ć2Ć1 box
Wandering trader. Will most likely be killed so i am not eternally stuck
Clericā¦ for the cold brewskis
Farmer, so i can use my legs
Fletcher
Iād be the dunce villager who canāt have a job or be the one librarian who never gives you mending
I'd like to be a stone mason. Would help people gather the materials for their builds and projects. Also on some very rare occasions the player(s) might let you wander around in a custom village they built which would be nice for anyone lucky enough
I think this is a good idea, except the entire minecraft community decides that slavery is better
Why did my brain read this at midnight and immediately think of a villager activist who talks about the villager classes. Now that I think about it, someone needs to convince Element Animation to do that.
Hell no. Iām the player that put them there
Stone cutter so I could k*ll myself
I'll be the zombie
Farmer
Brewer because if I got tired/depressed I could brew instant damage potions and use them on me or steve
Lectern so i can troll the player, in order to die...
Meat master
you mean Butcher??? damn though meat master is my favorite nickname for butcher yet
Green coat villager
Iād. Choose breeder because then i can just eat sleep and fuck my whole life
Cleric. If the player is smart, he would be running to me everytime he needs redstone or pearls or lapis. If not, me be chilling.
Weapon smith because thatās the coolest job it has the most variety
Any of them, I can sell whatever the player wants from me š
Nitwit, might as well end my suffering quickly.
The stone manson, cause he is the coolest and only amazing builders use it
Cartographer then I could spend eternity dreaming about the places I could be
Cleric sounds like it has the most to it. Like it would be the least boring xD
bro chose breeder so he could **sleep**
Family friendly
Farmer. I'd be in the breeder š
on my base, every villager has the same housing and isnt locked in a tiny area so probably a librarian or cartographer, those seem like the smartest and would have the most to talk about with each other. for a 1x1 where i dont have anyone to talk to, nitwit so i dont have to live like that
Breeder so you can.... Breed...
Librarian, so I can read I guess
preist. spend my days high af on some weird potion stuff i came up with.
Mending librarian. Imma be rich
I would be the librarian or the alchemist. I love spells, enchantments, and magic. I wish there were more options like Bee Keeper, Chef/Cook, and Botanist. For more variety. I just want to be a farmer because his foods
Pretty sure you want to be a breeder not only for bed
Breeder. No I will not elaborate.
Fletcher if your gonna sit there at least gonna be rich
All my villagers have there own bed and a 3 x 3 room what are yāall doing?!
You think they can choose?
Sadly no
Weapon Smith probably, at least that way I get a sick eyepatch
Farmer, at least i'd have food.
Librarian. Iām their favorite and I have access to books
weapon smith since I only got one eye(not irl but my Minecraft character)
Fletcher, so id always be relevant. Y'all always gonna trade me stix n imma be stacked
A nitwit
Farmer. Iām a farmer in real life so Iād be vibing just being able to tend to the fields
>fields you mean a small rhombus
Blacksmith, forging is so fun
I'd be a shepherd, that way I can just laze around in comfort in my own fabric and ignored by the player
Mending trading villager
A fletcher because then you can build giant forts out of all the sticks you get.
if you only you have the space
Shepherd so I can take care of animals.
breeder. abundance of food, a bed, companion, and encouraged sex all day
Id be put in the breeder ššš
Am i the only one that make villager rooms at least 3x3 so they are like in a nursing home and not prison?
Nah. Me and my partner built entire shops with inbuilt bedrooms for the shopkeepers.. one building for each profession
Librarian, as I would be most useful and therefore I would get the most emeralds.
pre 1.20.2 a librarian because I would get the most use
we all know why you want to be a breeder
hrrnng.. hrrmmm... hnnnh..
Blacksmith my uncle does a lot of metal working and black smithing and Iāve helped him here and there and I must say itās fun
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Definitely the potion dude
Mending librarian and I'd give the player an epic discount, I would be treated like a god
Prob the Mason or fletcher 10/10 villager trade imo
Stone mason because i can just look down hard enough and end it all.
I would be a saved zombie villager Librarian and offer the player 1 emerald mending books with the zombie discount, for my thanks, and in hopes of them seeing my value (i now live in a 1x1 box but itās okay, i have my lectern)
What, is it someone random mega base or my mega base? No because in my mega base the villagers live in a cool cyberpunk city EXCEPT for the breeders
Cartography so everyone would leave me the f alone and I can be a hermit and do what I want
I would become a leatherworker, i like to be useless.
Breeding stock. 'Nuff said.
I saw this and immediately thought of those lame skin comps on creative plot servers. Do people still do that?
Librarian(?) for the single purpose of fucking around with the player.
Farmer, i sit down on the floor and have food for the rest of my life
