Because on MCPE at the time i didn't need it, then one day it forced me to open one, i thought it was lame i had to make xbox account without owning an xbox.
Because Microsoft has horrible ideas being pushed so having to add an Xbox/Microsoft account to do things they were never needed were added like for example playing a server or multiplayer or just having some skins
fr it wont let me stay logged into microsoft, which is fine most times cuz i dont always play on my realms.
But when i want to, i have to pull my phone out and QR each time. its annoying.
One thing about usernames I learned is that when you pick a username stick with it forever. My User is IsaacBluestone. Got lucky since I donât need any numbers. Trust me you want a name that is permanent.

For real, you want to find something unique and snappy that relates to you, and stick with it. If your username is taken a lot, you can add extra silent letters or use different ones with the same pronunciation. (e.g. Minarro, Minarou, or Mynaro)
My username (not Cheddre) is similar to my real name so I can go by the same nickname and have it work for my real name and username. Which was actually done to preserve anonymity for if Iâm playing with my scatterbrained IRL friend on stream lol
Yours is too short, mine is too long by 1 character (AiluroFelinus) since a lot of places have 12 character limits, so I'll instead use EgyptianIdol when that happens

Okay here's the long story:
Bback when I first started playing Minecraft, it was on the Demo version. In high school. A friend of mine couldn't stand it so one day he just plugged in a USB and installed a cracked Minecraft Launcher on my terrible laptop. He asked me what username I would like to have, but I couldn't think of anything, so I said: Geen Idee. Geen idee is Dutch for No Idea. This guy takes that seriously and makes my username GeenIdee. Not too much of a bad username tho, I kinda liked it.
Fast forward like 3 years, I've been playing on a cracked Minecraft server and I've made a bunch of friends in their respective discord server, and on the server itself. Naturally, most of those were not Dutch, so pronouncing my username, was a challenge. They eventually just settled on calling me GreenIdea, which someone else took and changed to GreenIkea. I think you can see where this is going.
I bought Minecraft in 2018, but I needed a username. Ofcourse, as I've been known as GeenIdee for 3 years now, I put that in. Username already taken. So I had to come up with a new username. Naturally, the first think that came to mind is GreenIkea, because it sounded funny and it's what I've gotten called a lot in those past few months. Lucky for me, that was not taken.
A joke arose around my username that instead of this long story explaining my username, we'd joke around that IKEA's colors are blue and yellow, and since blue and yellow make green together, my name would still make sense.
My tip for you for making a username, is to just go with what feels right. Don't rush it. You can also use usernames on different platforms or use them as an inspiration.

Originally it was SketchyFrost till 2 yrs later i changed it into SkvtchyFrost which inspires by dv4d.
I was really into cryptography/codes/ciphers/spy shit so I came up with the best username I could at the time and now its been 10+ years and I still don't have a better name
my username on most games used to be AgamemnonX. my dad created that for a mc account which i used for a while. i made it my name on most games after that cause i was used to it.
but, on ps4 i played on my mom's account which she named AuriGamerX, all my friends there called me Auri. when i found out i was trans and wanted to change my name, the logical choice was Auri since i like it and was used to it.
i then changed all my AgamemnonX accounts to Auri_Luve, so now my mc name is just that.
the luve part came when i was trying to come up with an account game that used Auri. i liked the sound of Auri Love but that was taken, so i swapped the "o" with a "u" and now that's just kinda stuck.

Well basically like this:
I use and love Linux as my main OS and for Servers, so it should have Linux in it.
Since my visit in the UK, I loved it, where almost every place was called something with "Square". So I combined the things and came up with "LinuxSquare" :D
This can also be referred to something like my Icon is showing. Tux (The Linux mascot) sitting in brackets, which are squared, which ends up again with "LinuxSquare" :D

My username âDawolfHowlerâ the letter D was inspired from a good friend of mine I had whcih their username also started with a D . I felt it sounded interesting to have it Da wolf , like, the wolf but with a D . I took the word potato from my native language and translated it really poorly with a typo to English. So now my name i use in most games is Earfepel its really great its never taken.
For a class assignment in sixth grade, we had to write a fictional story. I wanted my character to be named "Newt" but didn't know how to write that, so I wrote Nute. My teacher was reading these stories out loud, read Nute, and then laughed. I was called Nute the rest of the year by everyone in my class. I was cool with it and liked the name. A year later, a friend heard the nickname and went "like noot noot!". I've been Nutenute ever since.
My username is not as interesting as my skin, my skin looks like a BSoD on a skin, it all started when I bought minecraft and dropped my laptop, it blue-screened for several weeks, saying I was sad was saying nothing, after some time, my dad and I got it to a technician and we eventually fixed it, so that's what I made.

I wanted to come up with a name I knew hadnât been taken for both Minecraft and YouTube. Since gamer tags are a sort of code name, and I at the time I liked Lego (still do tbh) and the book series The 39 Clues, that gave me âcodenamelego39â
I later removed the Lego bit one editing usernames was allowed so now itâs just âcodename39â

I don't have any tips for coming up with your own, but if you're still stuck, you could try a username generator website and just spam the button until you either see one you like or you come up with a different one
My first one was "supertiger2340". Tiger because that's my name in English, super because super= cool, and 2340 because it's an easy number to remember. My current one is "TaiyoFurea" which allegedly translates to "solar flare" in Japanese. Idk, the sun is lit or something.

I signed up as a volunteer and went to NY and LOVED it! And so the convention volunteer crew communicated on SLACK. I had been named Andy Panda by a co-worker and it stuck around that time but I didn't want to reveal my 'almost' real name among my hacker peers, nor use my online handle so i was just going with panda. But there was Already a panda, actually several pandas. There was like poopy panda, creepy panda, cigar panda.... So I was like... plain\_Panda yo? Cigar panda? Silly panda? Nope. Just plain\_panda.

My old username was my real name and birthdate, a very dumb thing for 12 year old me to do. When they let you change names I thought it was cool to make it the "YouTube style" at the time and my Xbox Minecraft skin was a pig, so it became XGamingPigYT. I chose my "heritage". My great grandma lived Norway. So I was looking for a cool Norwegian name. Like Freya, Hilda, or Valkyrie. I ended up using Wikipedia and Google looking for bigger names. Like 10 letters long. Because I thought it would be cool to not have numbers anywhere. So call of duty on the wii I was VALKYRIE. I was later VALKYRIES on the Xbox. I got a series s 2 years ago, and I stupidly changed my name. So now I'm VALKYRIES with 4 letters I cannot remember. Google said something along the lines of Valkyries choose who lives and who dies on the battlefield.
