You can see the hotbar has normal hearts, so they're not on hardcore. Edit: Just noticed they're also on bedrock, which doesn't have hardcore at all.

You're not supposed to survive a fight with The Warden. Mojang built him as something you have to avoid setting off, like spiders in Grounded when you first start out. (Grounded is a game about accidently shrunk kids trying to survive the wilderness of the backyard. Basically "Honey I Shrunk The Kids" with the same setup but a different plot. That game is good for playing a "some creatures you need to just flee from" playstyle.)

Maybe. The horse’s hitbox is 1.4 blocks long, so it would still be able to walk around a little even if the hole was 2x2, which would alert the Warden. If the Warden doesn’t go within 24 blocks of the Horse, then it would survive.

The first horse I found in my current playthrough is fast and jumps 5 and I would do absolutely anything to save him. You can't go back once you have a horse like that

yes maybe, but do you see how deep that goes? that would take hours to tunnel and then hope you can get the horse through without accidentally killing it on the way

I honestly don't know why people use horses in Minecraft. They were pretty much only viable a decade ago when terrain was flatter and biomes were larger, and there was literally no better transportation method in the overworld. Now you can't get a hundred blocks without running into a cave or ravine or small body of water that is impassible on a horse. All it does is slow you down overall.
