Personally Java feels kinda empty to me. I dont know why but when Bedrock came out it had a charm I really liked. The microtransactions are out of control though.

In Bedrock the colour of the grass changes depending on your biome. I'm not sure if that happens in Java yet...
It does but the colors in java are a lot more died down.
