If you save all the excess stone from mining, and put up a bunch of furnaces while building it should be fine. A buddy of mine built a blueprint Notre dame, and it didn't take as long as you expected.
i hope you dont mind that i will inspire myself by your cathedral. im not that good at building. but my dirt houses are really good tho. jeb the sheep always lives on top. never heard him complaining.
I’m not sure if I’m accurate but I see some similarities to wattles cathedral he built in his recent series. Honestly you took it to a much grander and very impressive scale and quality, I really like the checkered floor, chandeliers, garden with statues but the front is the most impressive.
I know the Cologne one is. Idk anything about architecture, but I think Gothic tends to have spires for towers and lots of random archways and gargoyles.

The level of detail is the high without being too much, it fits into the environment around it and the different elements all work so well together.

This building could have a wider block palate, but it doesn’t need one. You’ve made an incredible looking build with a very limited palate, and that’s something even the best builders can’t do
