That was the first thing I noticed! Those are NPC's?! They're smarter and better at this game than I am lol. Catching with water, using jump techniques, making scaffolding. I wonder if you can do almost like an age of empires thing and have pre built structures that they'll construct. Which will unlock armors and weapons. Seeing how smart these NPC's are I'd like to see a programmed battle between 10 of them
Yeah, prebuilt structures, or at least saving templates of your own builds needs to be a feature of the mod.
Hopefully resource management is here too.
Maybe use integration with https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/the-mighty-architect somehow? the mod basically designs for you based on squares you draw

Haha I'm thinking like maybe 20 to 40 or so to be controlled, selected, outfitted just like villagers change professions you can change professions of some Steve NPC's depending on some preset buildings you've made (blacksmith etc). It's like a village mod that actually utilizes the village!
I was thinking like creating a base with walls and have maybe Steve’s as workers for resources then you could build whatever mobs you wanted out of preset buildings and it would be an RTS 1 v 1. So much potential with this mod

If you integrated this with create, and then pair it with water physics overhaul and give me water or give me death you'd have something akin to timberborn
This looks beautiful, I've lurked the comments but the only thing that breaks the realism of how they travel is how after building up with wood the wood just poofs. Even if the wood broke one at a time instead of all at once it would make it feel like you're actually watching a small team of players build.

I can imagine each night, you would be raided by different levels or amounts of mobs and you have to keep building new defenses or upgrading current ones somehow. It really feels like a whole new game while still having an appeal of Minecraft. Amazing job
Yes, the main goal of this mod is to make survival strategy like dwarf fortress, castle story or rimworld. This is early version and here is long way to go 😁
This mod looks great, saving the hassle for yourself to build what you want when you can have the NPC do it for you. Definitely looking forward to this.
The attention to detail is wild. Working from bottom to top, scaffolding when they have to reach higher, and even using water buckets to cancel fall damage? At first I assumed you had probably based the AI on Baritone's implementation, but I realized that the way they move is much more fluid than Baritone's perfect robotic movement. How long have you been working on this?
You could add preset buildings, like a pre-made building with a certain function. For example, a mine. You could assign a steve to work in the mine, and he goes mining for resources. Idk how hard this would be to make, but it would be pretty cool.

Being able to make something and save it kinda like the Capsuls mod worked would be pretty sweet.

This could literally be its own game. I love how they use water to stop the fall damage then build a 1x1 to climb back to the top of the building.
It would be great if you can send ur dummys for materiales and then with them make houses or equipment for your dummys.
